Modeling study on repeat purchase intention on silk products based on the electronic commercial platform

  • Based on the literature on customer's repeat purchase intention, customer's repeat purchase intention was explored, customer's repeat purchase intention has been a crucial factor influencing consumer behaviors, In this research, the development of models on repeat purchase intention repurchase was indicated. Based on the electronic commerce platform, we focus on the customer's repeat purchase intention on silk products, This paper mainly explores the e-commerce purchase frequency (EPF), customer perceived value (CPV), perceived risk of e-commerce (EPR), and customer satisfaction (CS). The influence of the four factors on repeat purchase intention (RPI) is investigated. In the results, we found that CPV and CS have positive correlations with repeat purchase intention, The EPR has a negative correlation with RPI and has no significant influence on RPI. The result can provide meaningful suggestions for silk product retailers.

  • This paper examines key determinants and the effect of country-of-origin on customer's purchase intention of functional food and dietary supplement product in Vietnam. Exploratory study was identified to evaluate personal and social factors on customer's buying behavior. Twenty-eight reflective constructs were adapted from literature and designed by using a seven-point Likert scale to facilitate measurement. By using non-probability convenience sampling, data was collected from a survey of 242 Vietnamese who have experienced in buying functional and supplement food. This paper employed partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) as a technique employed to analyze the measurement and structural models. The findings provide evidence that social prestige customer perceives and their positive attitude toward functional food which are main factors influencing on consumers' purchase intention. Customer's perceived prestige plays an important role in decision-making process to purchase. The higher social prestige taken up in consumers' mind, the higher consumers' purchase intention is. Moreover, the more positive attitude customer holds toward functional food, the higher consumers' purchase intention. The research results provide useful information in current understanding of what antecedents determine factors influencing customer's intention to purchase functional food and lead to managerial implications for business strategies.

A Study on Evaluation of Salesperson′s Service and Purchase Behavior as related to Customer′s Personality type (소비자의 성격유형에 따른 판매원 서비스 평가와 구매행동 특성)

  • The purposes of this research were 1) to identify shopping orientation according to customer's personality type, 2) to examine perceived importance of service and satisfaction of service related to customer's personality type, 3) to find the relationships of evaluation of salesperson's service and re-purchase intention in each of customer's personality types. The data were collected via self-administered questionnaires from 434 female formal wear shoppers. and were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, ANOVA, Chi-square test, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: Shopping orientations varied according to customer's personality type. E type had stronger Hedonic/self-confidence than I type, F type had higher Depending decision making than T type and P type had higher Quick decision making than J type. And service items satisfied the customers with a certain personality type. E type was satisfied with timely and proper A/S, not forcing to purchase and trustful behavior of salesperson more than I Type was. And also with expertise, individualized care, polite attitude, and merchandising promotion. N type was satisfied with individualized care more than S type was. A service evaluation criterion affected the re-purchase intention for a customer with a certain personality type. Customer's convenience in E. I. S, N, T, F, J types had a significant effect on re-purchase intention. And Expertise/ care in E, N, T, J types had a positive effect on re-purchase intention. also Politeness in E, I, S, N, T, J, P types did. But in only E type, Merchandising promotion affected re-purchase intention.

A Study on the Effects of Quality Characteristics of Online Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products Shopping Malls affecting Customer Trust and Purchase Intention

  • Purpose - This study is to classify quality characteristics of online environment-friendly agricultural products shopping malls into 6 categories and to empirically test their relationship with customer trust, perceived manageability, perceived utility and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - This study targeted adults who have purchased ecofriendly agricultural production online malls for 4 weeks from September 3 to September 30, 2019. The survey type used was a structuralized self-report survey questionnaire made to meet the research purpose in 2019 as the time range. Out of 800 questionnaires, 500 copies are used after excluding surveys with insincere responses. Results - First, results to hypothesis 1, which was about independent variables and customer trust. Analysis showed that health, familiarity, platform reputation, reviews and product quality were found to have significant effect on customer trust; the hypothesis was adopted. On the other hand, system security did not affect customer trust significantly; it was rejected. Second, customer trust was shown to have significant effect on perceived manageability and perceived utility, so the hypothesis was adopted. Third, the hypothesis that perceived manageability moves onto perceived utility was adopted. Moreover, the hypothesis that perceived manageability moves onto purchase intention and the hypothesis that perceived utility moves onto purchase intention were adopted as well. Conclusions - Furthermore, the results of the study imply that it's imperative for online environment-friendly agricultural products shopping malls to consider their characteristics as the means to increase purchase intention of customers.

A Study on the Factors Influencing the Purchase Intention of Automobiles (자동차의 구매의도에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This paper conducted an empirical study to identify the causal relationship of factors affecting the purchase intention of automobiles from the customer's point of view. This study sets the purchase intention as a result variable and constructs a causal model with brand image, product attributes (exdogenous variable), and customer value (endogenous variable) as a cause that affects purchase intention. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the symbolic image of the brand was found to have a very significant effect on customer value (p=0.01), and the external attribute of the product also had a significant effect on customer value (p=0.1). Second, customer value was found to have a very significant effect on purchase intention (p=0.01), and the functional image of the brand also had a significant effect on purchase intention (p=0.1). Third, there is a strong positive (+) correlation between the functional image of the brand and the symbolic image of the brand, the intrinsic attribute of the product, and the external attribute of the product, and also between the symbolic image of the brand and the intrinsic attribute of the product and There was also a positive (+) correlation between extrinsic attributes. Therefore, in order to increase customer value, automobile manufacturing companies have a functional value of products from a customer-oriented perspective. It is judged that every effort should be made to maintain a lasting relationship by grasping the values of customers, which are social values, emotional values, situational values, and cognitive values.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the perceived value of consumers of traditional Chinese music training institutions, and the resulting research on the impact of customers' purchase intentions. This research refers to relevant literature on customer perceived value and customer purchase intention, and divides customer perceived value into five value dimensions: emotion, quality, experience, price and reputation. Questionnaire survey method, using SPSS analysis AMOS tool to conduct empirical research, the research results show that customer perceived value has an important positive impact on purchase intention in five value dimensions of emotion, quality, price, experience and reputation, which is a traditional music training institution. Provide reference and suggestions for improvement.

Effect of Perceived Value on CRM Quality and Purchase Intention in the Corporate Social Media Context

  • Corporate social media has been recently used in customer relationship management in many ways to improve product sales and company images. Not much research exists on corporate social media, Therefore, in this paper, we propose a research model to identify how corporate social media enhances corporate's CRM quality, resulting in forming customer's purchase intention. In detail, this paper is to examine how customer's perceived value of corporate social media influences CRM quality(CRM trust and CRM commitment), and then how CRM quality affects purchase intention. To this end, a total of 300 questionnaires were used from online panel respondents to test research hypothesis. The findings showed that service performance value and monetary value were major determinants of CRM trust, however, there was no association between brand integration value and CRM trust. In addition, the effects of service performance value and brand integration value on CRM commitment were found whereas monetary value had no effect on CRM commitment. The results also showed that CRM trust and CRM commitment played a critical role in forming of purchase intention. Theoretical and practical Implications are discussed.

  • Purpose: This study explores the factors affecting purchase intention of smartphones among millennials. The study incorporates factors of brand equity, specifically brand awareness, brand loyalty, perceived quality and their mediation effect in purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology: This study evaluates the role of brand equity factors in influencing purchase intentions by using structural equation modeling to analyze 197 respondents. Results: The findings indicate that brand loyalty, followed by brand awareness, and perceived quality are significant factors in determining customer purchase intention. Further, brand loyalty mediates the relationship between perceived quality and purchase intention, as well as between brand awareness and purchase intention significantly. Additionally, perceived quality mediates the relationship between brand awareness and purchase intention significantly. Finally, the serial mediation of perceived quality and brand loyalty significantly affects the relationship between brand awareness and purchase intention. Conclusions: This research has provided valuable insights into the relationship between brand equity and purchase intention among millennials supporting the Aaker's Model. Useful theoretical and managerial implications also have been provided.

The Effect of Fashion Consumer's Browsing Motives and Risk Perception on Purchase Intention in Social Commerce (소셜커머스에서 패션제품 소비자의 브라우징 동기, 위험지각이 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effects of fashion consumer's browsing motives and risk perception on impulse buying and purchase intention in social commerce. The online survey results of 317 customers who experienced using fashion products via social commerce were used for the final analysis. Exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and frequency analysis were conducted using SPSS 18.0, and confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were performed with AMOS 18.0. Three browsing motives (hedonic motive, rational motive, and informational motive) and three risk perceptions (products-related risk, customer service risk, and opportunity loss risk) were identified. The results from the structure equation model were as follows. 1) It was deducted that the browsing motive did not have a significant effect on risk perception due to the rejection of most of the hypotheses in regards to the browsing motive influence on risk perception. 2) Product-related risk and customer service risk had a significantly negative effect on purchase intention. Opportunity loss risk had significantly positive effect on impulse buying and purchase intention. 3) Hedonic browsing motive had a significant effect on impulse buying, and rational motive had a significant effect on impulse buying and purchase intention. The informational browsing motive had a significant effect only on purchase intention.

The effect of UNIQLO's online and offline brand images on the purchase intention as a multichannel brand (유니클로의 온라인과 오프라인 이미지가 멀티채널 브랜드 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Nowadays the advantages of multichannel retailing strategy in fashion business have been widely discussed, but empirical research on fashion retail has been limited. The purpose of this research is to provide some ideas on multichannel retailing strategy to fashion retailers through the case of UNIQLO. The online survey was conducted on each 100 female customers in their 20s, 30s, 40s living in seoul among UNIQLO customers. The survey was consisted of measurement items for UNIQLO's online store image and offline store image, customer satisfaction, purchase intention, and demographic attributes. The online survey was found that 30.3% of UNIQLO's multichannel customers bought a product from offline store using online shopping mall as a search channel, on the other hand, 20.7% of UNIQLO's multichannel customers bought a product from online store using offline store as a search channel. Factors of the online shopping mall image were consisted of shopping convenience, product information, price policy, trust. And factors of the offline store image were consisted of trust and store, product information, service. Some factors of online store and offline store image had impact on multichannel customer satisfaction. And, customer satisfaction also had impact on purchase intention of UNIQLO product. Some suggestion for the future of multichannel research in fashion retailing was given.
