한국 클러버(Clubber)의 패션 스타일 연구 (A Study on the Fashion Sensibilities of Korean Clubbers)

  • Club culture is the global trend for youth in 21st century. Club is the space that is created with close relationship among music, dance and fashion. It is also experimental cultural art space with endlessly transforming style. Furthermore it is a space for independent minor culture which represents speciality than generality of cultural appetite and style of club. Cultural communities formed around club and their parties have placed as a strong subculture trend based on youth age group. What they are creating as a subculture could be our tomorrow's main trend and clubbers also could be our major power sources for future. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to club culture. The purposes of this research are to identify the concept of clubber, to analyzes their basic club culture characteristics and elements, and to find out unique fashion styles of Korean clubber in comparison with the origin. To study club fashion style's origin and background, this study searched a theoretical flow from 1930's to 1990's. Then, Korean clubber's style is derived by comparing background and origin of Korean club culture with those of abroad. To analyze in various point of view, theoretical backgrounds about social, cultural, dresses, and design were considered. Since research target is a visual image, street fashion is analyzed on through, music channels and magazines from 1930's to present as well as designer's art photographies. Internet sites', cub culture association's and sound association's photos were also extracted. as a visual evidences to offer actual evidences. Geological targets are selected among Korean club culture's origin such as Hong-Ik University area, Shin-chon, Chungdam-dong and Apgujung-dong areas. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, clubber's fashion style influenced magnificently on major fashion design instead of being just youngster's resistance toward control group and it is contributing to our fashion culture to enrich it. Secondly, fashion styles of korean clubbers are based on those of western sub-culture, but with a unique localized history.

Stimulation of Actinorhodin Production by Streptomyces lividans with Chromosomally-Integrated Antibiotic Regulatory Gene, afsR2

  • Streptomyces lividans is one of the most commonly-used streptomyetes strain as a molecular cloning and expression host. Unlike its close relative S. coelicolor, however, S. lividans rarely produces secondary metabolite such as actinorhodin in a typical glucose-containing culture condition due to insufficient expression of some antibiotic regulatory genes including afsR2. Although multiple copies of afsR2 or a glycerol-specific culture condition stimulated actinorhodin production in S. lividans, both failed to stimulate actinorhodin production in S. lividans cultured in a typical glucose-containing medium. To generate a culture-condition-independent actinorhodin-overproducing S. lividans strain the afsR2 gene was integrated into the S. lividans TK21 chromosome via homologous recombination, followed by the genetic confirmation. This S. lividans strain produced a significant amount of actinorhodin in both glucose-containing liquid and plate cultures, with higher actinorhodin productivity compared to the S. lividans containing multiple copies of afsR2. These results suggest that a chromosomal integration of a single copy of an antibiotic regulatory gene is a promising method for the development of a stable antibiotic-overproducing streptomycetes strain.

감정노동자의 이직의도 결정요인에 관한 연구 -강원지역 대형숙박서비스업을 중심으로- (A Study on the Determinants of Employees' Turnover Intention of Emotion Workers -Focused the large accommodation services on the Gangwon Province-)

  • 본 논문은 최근 사회적 이슈가 되고 있는 감정 노동자의 이직의도 결정 요인에 관한 연구로서, 서비스 산업에 종사하는 감정 노동자의 서비스 품질 향상에 영향을 미치는 이직 의도를 결정하는 요인이 무엇인지에 대해 실증적인 연구를 통해 조사 분석한 것이다. 독립 변수로 설정한 감정 노동자의 직무특성 및 직무환경, 조직문화, 감정노동행위 등이 종속 변수인 이직 의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 실증 조사하였으며, 이러한 독립 변수들이 직무만족을 매개로 감정 노동자의 이직 의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 연구 대상으로는 주로 강원권의 대형 숙박 서비스업에 종사하는 감정 노동자를 대상으로 하였으며 직무특성 및 직무환경 요인 중에서는 직무다양성 요인과 내외적 보상 요인이 이직 의도에 영향을 미치고 있었고, 조직문화 요인으로는 인적 자원 문화, 개방 체계 문화, 위계 질서 문화 요인이 이직의도에 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 감정노동 행위 중에서는 표면행위, 진심행위 요인이 이직의도에 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 실증적으로 조사되었다. 또한 직무만족을 매개로 한 가설검증에서는 직무다양성 요인 등 몇몇 요인들이 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 향후에는 독립변수 요인으로 정규직 비정규직 여부를 하나의 요인으로 두고 실증조사를 해보면 좀 더 유익한 결론을 얻을 수 있을 것 같다.

넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus) 장관의 배양 및 비배양 방법에 의한 세균의 다양성 (Diversity of Cultured and Uncultured Bacteria in the Gut of Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus)

  • We determined the optimal culture conditions for obtaining the maximum number of intestinal bacteria from the olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus, and studied bacterial diversity using both culture-dependent and culture-independent methods. Using six culture conditions, mean bacterial numbers were greater than $10^6$ per gram of gut mucus, regardless of the medium. However, the bacterial diversity, based on colony morphology, appeared much higher on Marine agar (MA) and Zobell 2216 agar than on other media. We found eight and 17 cultured bacterial phylotypes with 99% minimum similarity in gut mucus grown on MA and tryptic soy agar, respectively. Furthermore, we used genomic DNA extracted from gut mucus to generate 78 random clones, which were grouped into 25 phylotypes. Of these, six were affiliated with Firmicutes, Actinobacteria, and Verrucomicrobia, and were not found using our culture-dependent methods. Consequently, we believe that Marine agar and Zobell 2216 agar are optimal media for culturing diverse intestinal microbes; we also discovered several novel sequences not previously recognized as part of the gut microbiota of olive flounder.

Efficacy of Induced Sputum for the Diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Adults Unable to Expectorate Sputum

  • Background: Induced sputum (IS) has been used to collect airway secretions in subjects who have inadequate sputum production. The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of IS for the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) in adults unable to expectorate sputum. Methods: Medical records of 39 PTB patients who underwent IS due to absence of spontaneous sputum production between January 2011 and March 2014 at a tertiary hospital in South Korea were reviewed. Results of acid fast bacilli smear, Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture and polymerase chain reaction assay for M. tuberculosis (TB-PCR) of IS specimens from these patients were analyzed. Clinical and high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) characteristics were also analyzed to find characteristics associated with IS culture positivity. Results: Of the 39 IS specimens from PTB patients, 7 (17.9%) were smear positive and 31 (79.5%) were culture positive. Twenty-four IS specimens were tested for TB-PCR and 13 (54.2%) were positive on TB-PCR. Multivariate analysis showed that younger age (p=0.04) and presence of tree-in-bud appearance on HRCT (p=0.03) were independent predictors of IS culture positivity. Conclusion: IS is useful for the diagnosis of PTB in adults unable to expectorate sputum. Younger age and tree-in-bud appearance on HRCT were associated with IS culture positivity in these patients.

Democratic Leadership Practice to Construct Clan Organizational Culture in Family Companies

  • A family business is a company where most of its capital and the management position is owned by family members (clan). The leader plays an important role in defining an organization, thus influencing the organization's success. A leader who has a leadership style based on family (clan) relation has the facilitator's role when conflict appears within the organization. This research aims to find the impact of the democratic leadership model on a family business that adopts the clan cultural organization. The independent variable of this research is the democratic leadership model. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is the clan culture within the organization. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive and causality type of research. This research population is PT Global Avionika Indonesia staff, where the data was acquired by distributing questionnaires using a saturated sampling technique. The finding in this research shows a positive and significant impact of the democratic leadership model on the clan culture within the organization PT Global Avionika. The determination test also points out that democratic leadership models affect 19.8 percent of the clan culture within the organization, and the rest of 80.2 percent were affected by other factors that were not covered in this research.

상급종합병원의 업무환경과 간호조직문화가 간호사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Work Environment and Nursing Organizational Culture on Tertiary Hospital Nurses' Turnover Intention)

  • Purpose : This study examined the effects of work environment and organizational culture on tertiary hospital nurses' turnover intention. Methods : A cross-sectional design was used, with a convenience sample of 371 hospital nurses from 16 units of three tertiary hospitals in South Korea. Data were collected through a self-report survey conducted during September and October 2016. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and binary logistic regression analysis. Results : A total of 43.7% of the participants were identified as having turnover intention within 1 year. Factors related to turnover intention among hospital nurses were age, marital status, and total clinical career. Furthermore, a relationship-oriented organizational culture showed a negative association with turnover intention. Conclusion : These findings suggest it is important to provide appropriate motivational programs and incentives for nurses according to their clinical career to decrease turnover intention. Moreover, establishing a relationship-oriented organizational culture will also help to reduce the turnover intention of tertiary hospital nurses.

중환자실 간호사의 역할갈등, 간호조직문화, 간호사-의사협력관계가 직무착근도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Role Conflict, Nursing Organizational Culture, and Nurse-Physician Collaboration on Job Embeddedness of Intensive Care Unit Nurses)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the degree of job embeddedness by examining role conflict among intensive care unit nurses, the nursing organizational culture, nurse-physician collaboration, degree of job embeddedness, to understand the relationship between these variables. Method : Participants are 148 nurses from two hospitals in the intensive care unit. Collected data are analyzed using independent t-tests, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlations, and multiple regressions using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results : The factors that significantly influenced the participants' job embeddedness are role conflict (𝛽=-.19, p =.015), innovation-oriented culture (𝛽=.26, p =.003), and nurse-physician collaboration (𝛽=.24, p =.002). The total explanatory power of these factors for job embeddedness is 44.5% (F=15.06, p =.001). Conclusion : This study identifies role conflict among intensive care unit nurses, innovation-oriented culture, and nurse-physician collaboration as important factors affecting job embeddedness.

중국의 독립학원 정책 분석 : 다차원 교육정책분석 모형을 중심으로 (An Analysis on Policy of Independent College using the Four-Dimensional Framework)

  • 중국의 독립학원은 민간의 교육투자를 인정하여 투자자 개인이나 기업, 사회의 지원 자금 활용을 용이하게 하고, 학교의 학사 운영, 학생 입학전형, 예산의 집행 및 관리, 별도의 법인 설립 및 학력 인정 등에 대해서 국가 주도로 설립된 공립대학과 다르게 사립대학인 민판학교 방식으로 자율적인 운영을 보장하는 등 중국내의 고등교육기관의 다양성을 갖추고자 하는 목적으로 설립되었다. 하지만 1990년대 초반 이후 중국 고등교육의 새로운 방식으로서 나타나게 된 독립학원은 지난 30여년의 시간 동안 양적인 성장을 이루었음에도 아직 교육의 질적 측면에서의 성장은 미흡한 상황이다. 중국의 독립학원이 관심을 받는 이유는, 독립학원이 모체 대학(母體)의 시설과 교수, 개설된 전공에서 지원을 받고 대학의 명성을 공유하는 등 대학 자체의 발전을 위한 노력보다는 학생 모집에 중점을 두는 방식으로 운영한다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 중국의 독특한 고등교육기관인 독립학원의 현황과 관련한 정책을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 다차원 교육정책분석 모형을 활용하여, 규범적 차원으로 중국의 독립학원 정책의 영리성 문제와 중국인의 차서격국(差序格局) 중심의 ?시(關係) 문화를, 구조적 차원으로 독립학원 관련 정부기관 구조, 국유민판의 운영구조를, 구성적 차원으로 중국의 독립학원 이해관계자의 속성을, 기술적 차원으로 독립학원 정책과 법제화 과정을 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 중국의 독립학원 정책의 방향성에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

죽음의 나쁨에 관한 정당화 (A Justification on the Evil of Death)

  • 에피쿠로스와 루크레티우스는 죽음이 산 자에게도 죽은 자에게도 나쁘지 않음을 피력한다. 이에 반해 죽음에 대한 우리의 일상적 태도는 죽음을 나쁜 것으로 믿는다. 이 일상의 믿음은 일견 맹목적이며 성찰이 결여된 것으로 보이지만, 우리의 생활세계와 생활형식은 이 믿음을 견고하고 받쳐주고 있다. 본 논문은 죽음을 나쁘다고 믿는 데에는 타당한 이유가 있다고 주장한다. 그리고 이 주장을 정당화하기 위해 토마스 네이글의 '박탈이론'의 주장을 비판적으로 옹호한다. 박탈이론의 주장의 요점을 살피고 이에 대한 문제점을 제시하며 이를 통해 박탈이론의 주요 주장을 재구성함으로써 다음과 같은 사실을 밝힌다. 즉 우리는 죽을 운명을 피할 수 없는 존재이며 동시에 미래를 향한 존재이자 주체적 개인으로서 무한한 삶의 가능성을 갖고 있는 존재이다. 죽음은 인류라는 종으로서 우리에게 자연스러운 사태이지만, 주체적 개인으로서 우리에게 가능한 삶과 미래를 박탈하는 사태이다. 그래서 우리의 생활세계와 생활형식에서 조우하는 죽음은 나쁘다. 인류로서 우리는 에피쿠로스와 루크레티우스의 견해에 동의할 수 있지만, 주체적 개인으로서 우리는 이들과 견해를 함께 할 수 없다.
