The Effect of Innovation-oriented Organizational Culture on Job Engagement and Job Stress: Focusing on Moderating Effect of Self-efficacy

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is, in the situation where rapid response to the rapidly changing environment is required due to the development of the fourth industrial revolution such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and the internet of things, robotics, big data, additive manufacturing, bio-health, sharing economy and in the organizational culture aspiring toward the innovation of a major company, small business and a public institution, to analyze what influence a job-engagement and stress make, and what influence individual's self-efficacy as a moderator mediator makes, and to offer basic data for improving job-engagement and lowering job-stress. Research design, data, and methodology: For doing this, the literature and the empirical studies were combined. Deriving innovation-oriented organizational culture as factors affecting the job engagement and job stress through the literature, and have established hypotheses to verify them. We have collected data of 281 from ex,ecutives and staff-members working in areas including major company, small business and officials (the central government, a local public service, the prosecution, the police, and school). And these data were analyzed by SPSS 23 version. Results: Based on these data, the results of analysis were as follows; First, the innovation-oriented organizational culture which was recognized by organizational members had effect on job-stress. Second, the innovation-oriented organizational culture which was recognized by organizational members influenced job-stress. Third, in the relationship between the innovation-oriented organizational culture and job-engagement, self-efficacy did not influenced job-engagement. Finally, in the relationship between the innovation-oriented organizational culture and job-stress, self-efficacy influenced job-stress. Conclusions: Innovation-oriented organizational culture places importance on the organization's adaptability and flexibility in the external environment, so companies need to establish an innovation-oriented organizational culture favorable to achieving survival and successful innovation, and to develop and disseminate programs of positive and continuous organizations to improve task enthusiasm, reduce task stress, and enhance organizational performance. In the future, it will be necessary to verify the effectiveness of various organizational culture types through comparative analysis with companies that actively maintain an innovation-oriented organizational culture (Google, Kakao, etc.) and companies that prefer hierarchy-oriented organizational culture, relationship-oriented organizational culture, and market-oriented organizational culture.

비행 스트레스가 직무 만족도와 안전문화에 미치는 영향 : 항공사 및 직급별 조절된 매개효과 (The Effect of Flight Stress on Job Satisfaction and Safety Culture: Moderator Effect by Airlines and Rank)

  • 본 연구는 국내 민간 항공사 조종사 193명을 대상으로 비행 스트레스가 직무 만족도 및 안전문화에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 비행 스트레스는 직무 만족도에 부정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 직무 만족도가 낮은 조종사는 안전문화 인식도 낮게 나타났다. 특히, 항공사와 조종사의 직급에 따라 비행 스트레스가 직무 만족도와 안전문화에 미치는 영향에 차이를 보였다. 이는 항공사와 조종사 직급별로 맞춤형 스트레스 관리 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 시사한다. 연구는 항공 산업의 안전 문화 강화를 위해 조종사의 스트레스 관리와 직무 만족도 향상이 중요함을 강조한다. 또한, 항공사는 조종사의 스트레스를 감소시키고, 직무 만족도를 높여 안전문화를 강화하는 전략을 개발해야 한다. 본 연구 결과는 항공산업에서 조종사들의 스트레스 관리와 안전문화 강화를 위한 방안 모색에 유용한 기초 자료로 활용하기 위함이다.

배배양에 의한 인삼우수계통으로부터 염류 Stress 내성 계통의 선발 (Selection of Ginseng Superior Lines Tolerant to Salt Stress Through Zygotic Embryo Culture)

  • Selection of stress-tolerant ginseng lines in fields is very difficult because it is almost impossible to control properly the environmental conditions of soil. On the contrary, it can be studied with ease to search for stress-tolerant ginseng lines through in vitro culture because of easy manipulation of stress conditions. This study was conducted for the selection of ginseng pure lines tolerant to salt stress. Murashige & Skoog(MS) media with 2.5 folds of KNO$_3$, NH$_4$NO$_3$, MgSO$_4$.7$H_2O$, KH$_2$PO$_4$, and CaC1$_2$.2$H_2O$ was established for the selection of ginseng pure lines tolerant to salt stress in vitro. Among 88 ginseng pure lines bred by Korea Ginseng and Tobacco Research Institute, Punggi Hwangsuk, 78093, 82886, 78135, 86024 and KG104 lines was tolerant to salt stress. For the stable production of quality Korean ginseng, genetic tolerance to salt stress is one of important factors since relatively high salt concentrations in the ginseng nursery soil environment of Korea. Ginseng inbred pure lines were tested for their tolerance to salt stress through in vitro culture technique.

  • 본 연구는 경호경비원의 조직문화에 따른 직무스트레스와 직무소진이 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 경호경비원 320명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조직문화에서 혁신문화는 직무스트레스에 통계적으로 .01수준에서 부적(-)인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 조직문화는 직무성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는다. 셋째, 조직문화 가운데 시장문화는 직무성과에 통계적으로 .01수준에서 부적(-)으로 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 직무스트레스는 직무성과에 통계적으로 .001수준에서 부적(-)으로 영향을 미친다. 다섯째, 직무소진은 직무성과에 통계적으로 .001수준에서 부적(-)으로 영향을 미친다. 여섯째, 직무스트레스는 조직문화의 혁신문화와 직무성과의 관계에서 통계적으로 .01수준에서 부적(-) 매개효과가 있다. 일곱째, 직무소진은 조직문화와 직무성과의 관계에서 통계적으로 유의한 영향이 없다.

패션 스트레스는 어떻게 측정할 수 있는가? 패션 스트레스의 다차원 척도 개발 및 타당화 (How to measure fashion stress? Development and validation of a multidimensional scale for fashion stress)

  • Fashion stress is a pertinent aspect of modern consumer culture that has been underexplored in academic research. This study developed a conceptual framework of fashion stress and a multidimensional scale to measure consumers' fashion stress. The qualitative study included literature reviews on consumption stress, shopping stress, and consumer behavior, as well as focus group interviews to gain insight into various dimensions of fashion stress. NVivo 12.0 was used to analyze the qualitative data and identify core categories following the grounded theory methodology. The quantitative study involved a preliminary and a primary surveys to verify the validity and reliability of the fashion stress scale. A total of 220 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The results show that fashion stress consists of eight factors: care, shopping, fit, brand, financial, closet, style, and disposal. Choice difficulty plays a significant role in all factors of fashion stress. Moreover, shopping stress had a negative impact on impulse buying, while other factors such as fit, brand, closet, and disposal stress had a positive impact on impulse buying. Thus, fashion stress is a potential antecedent of impulsive consumer behavior. The results also confirm the validity and reliability of the scale. The fashion stress scale developed in this study offers researchers a valuable tool for assessing and understanding consumer experiences.

병원간호사의 관계지향 간호조직문화와 이직의도 간의 관계에 있어서 임파워먼트, 직무 스트레스, 조직몰입의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Empowerment, Job Stress, and Organizational Commitment in Relation-oriented Nursing Organization Culture and Turnover Intention of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to analyze the mediating effects of empowerment, job stress, organizational commitment and relation-oriented nursing organization culture on turnover intention of clinical nurses. Methods: Participants selected for the final analysis were 382 nurses working in 4 general hospitals. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics Pearson correlation analysis (SPSS/WIN 17.0), and Path analysis (AMOS 18.0). Results: The study results are as follows: relation-oriented nursing organizational culture had no direct effect but had an indirect effect on nurses' turnover intention through empowerment, job stress, and organizational commitment, while job stress and organizational commitment had direct effects on turnover intention. The results also showed that empowerment had strong effect on organizational commitment, but job stress had very weak effect. Empowerment had an effect on turnover intention. Conclusion: These results indicate that establishment of relation-oriented nursing organization culture is imperative if clinical nurses' turnover intention is to be decreased.

캐빈승무원이 지각한 조직문화 유형이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향: 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Impact of the Organizational Culture Type Perceived by Cabin Crews on Job Stress: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Empowerment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 캐빈승무원이 지각한 조직문화 유형, 임파워먼트와 직무스트레스에 대하여 실증적으로 분석하여, 항공사 산업의 인적관리를 위한 서비스 매뉴얼을 제작하고 관리하는 실무자들에게 적절한 규정을 설계하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 실증분석을 위해 대형항공사 및 저가항공사에 근무 중인 캐빈승무원 335명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사를 실시하였고, 자료 분석은 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0을 사용하였다. 첫째, 조직문화 유형 중 관계지향문화, 위계지향문화, 과업지향문화 유형이 직무스트레스에 부-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 혁신지향문화, 관계지향문화, 위계지향문화, 과업지향문화 유형 모두 임파워먼트에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 임파워먼트는 직무스트레스에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 살펴보면, 혁신지향문화, 관계지향문화, 위계지향문화, 과업지향문화 유형과 직무스트레스의 관계에서 임파워먼트는 모두 유의한 매개효과가 있음을 검증하였다. 결과적으로 항공사 캐빈승무원은 항공사 캐빈승무원들은 통제나 질서를 강조하는 위계적인 조직문화, 업무지향적 조직문화보다는 융통성이나 유연성을 지향하는 조직구조에서 더욱 일이 즐겁고 재미있으며 가치 있게 인식하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 조직문화와 직무스트레스의 관계에서 임파워먼트는 매개적 변수인 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 임파워먼트를 높이기 위한 방안과 지속적인 관리와 지원에 따른 시사점을 논의하였다.

간호사가 인지하는 조직문화 유형과 언어폭력, 직무스트레스 (Nurses' Perceived Organizational Culture, Verbal Abuse and Job Stress)

  • 본 연구는 건강관리조직에서 간호서비스의 생산성과 효율성을 높이고자 간호조직문화의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 현실에서 간호사를 대상으로 그들이 인지하는 조직문화유형과 언어폭력, 직무스트레스와의 관련성에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시, 경기도, 충청도에 소재하는 4개 종합병원에서 근무하고 있는 간호사를 대상으로 설문지를 배포하였고 총 235부를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 병원별로 조직문화유형 간에 차이를 보였으며 이중 관계지향문화는 의사에 의한 언어폭력, 간호사에 의한 언어폭력과 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 혁신지향문화는 의사에 의한 언어폭력과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무스트레스는 조직문화 유형 중 위계지향적 조직문화를 제외하고 모두 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 주요변인은 관계지향적 조직문화, 간호사에 의한 언어폭력으로 나타났으며 이 변수들은 간호사들의 직무스트레스에 대해 14.9%의 설명력을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호사들이 소속된 병원 또는 조직별 문화에 대한 다차원적인 연구와 문화유형 별 직무스트레스를 줄여주기 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

Design, Fabrication, and Application of a Microfluidic Device for Investigating Physical Stress-Induced Behavior in Yeast and Microalgae

  • Purpose: The development of an efficient in vitro cell culture device to process various cells would represent a major milestone in biological science and engineering. However, the current conventional macro-scale in vitro cell culture platforms are limited in their capacity for detailed analysis and determination of cellular behavior in complex environments. This paper describes a microfluidic-based culture device that allows accurate control of parameters of physical cues such as pressure. Methods: A microfluidic device, as a model microbioreactor, was designed and fabricated to culture Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii under various conditions of physical pressure stimulus. This device was compatible with live-cell imaging and allowed quantitative analysis of physical cue-induced behavior in yeast and microalgae. Results: A simple microfluidic-based in vitro cell culture device containing a cell culture channel and an air channel was developed to investigate physical pressure stress-induced behavior in yeasts and microalgae. The shapes of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii could be controlled under compressive stress. The lipid production by Chlamydomonas reinhardtii was significantly enhanced by compressive stress in the microfluidic device when compared to cells cultured without compressive stress. Conclusions: This microfluidic-based in vitro cell culture device can be used as a tool for quantitative analysis of cellular behavior under complex physical and chemical conditions.

근로자의 일 지향성, 일 스트레스 및 조직문화가 일과 삶의 조화에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Job Involvement, Job Stress, and Organizational Culture on Work-Life Harmonization)

  • This study examined the effects of job involvement, job stress, and organizational culture on work-life harmonization of Korean employees. The data came from 481 employees in diverse organizations located in Seouland the metropolitan area. Key findings of the study were (a) job involvement was significantly different for different types of occupation and job positions, while job stress was significantly different based on gender, education, income, and the term of service; (b) perceptions of organizational culture by employees varied according to gender, age, position, the period of service, and firm size; (c) the level of work-life harmonization was not significantly different based on gender, age, marital status, education, and income - but it did differ significantly based on types of occupation and firm size; (d) the employee's type of education, job involvement, job stress, and organizational culture have effects on work-life harmonization.
