This study investigated the general information, unbalanced diet, and dietary habits of 86 children in Daegu. The research was undertaken to analyze the current state of diet and dietary habits of children, and to provide basic data for nutrition education. The results reveal that younger children have a more unbalanced diet. Children dislike side-dishes the most. Furthermore, due to the longer time taken to consume food, parents persuade children to eat quickly. Children were also determined to have a high intake of foods and drinks containing sugar; beverages containing sugar are consumed 1-2 times a week by 5-year-olds, and once daily by 6- and 7-year-olds. The results of this study can be applied to provide basic data for nutritional education, and assist in the development of dietary programs for young children.

As environmental pollution has become worse green technologies to replace or reduce consumption of fossil fuel get spotlight from government, industry and academia globally. It is reported that 40% of carbon dioxide emission is caused by electricity power generation. And 37% of end user electricity power is used by residential costumer in US. Smart Grid is considered as one of promising technology to alleviate severe environmental problem. In residential environment, Home Energy Management System (HEMS) can play a key role for green smart home. The HEMS can give several benefits like aslowering electric utility bill, improvement of efficiency of electric power consumption and integration of generator using renewable energy resources. However just limited functions of HEMS can be used for residential customer in real life because of lack of smart function in home appliances and optimal managing software for HEMS. This study provides comprehensive analysis for Home Energy Management System for residential customer. Simple HEMS system with real products on the market are explained and limitation of current HEMS are also discussed.

In this paper, we have developed a Retina Healthcare Service System through which the patient himself/herself can manage his/her retina health. In the case of conventional portable ophthalmic cameras, patients cannot check their eye health on their own because most of them are used by doctor in environments where ophthalmography cannot be performed properly. This system consists of web, app and camera modules, and when a patient mounts a camera module for fundus photography on his / her smart phone and then photographs his / her fundus through the app, the image is transmitted to a server, and the transmitted image reads the fundus the patient's fundus image status in the fundus image reading model learned using deep learning. When the doctor expresses his/her opinions about the patient 's eye condition based on the reading result and the fundus photograph, the patient can check through the app and judge whether to receive ophthalmologic treatment.

We aimed to understand various problems identified at waterscape facilities of gardens built at garden shows in Korea. The main purpose of the study is to understand which parts of waterscape facility built in gardens at garden shows are causing problems and whether these problems can be traced back from garden design phase or from local communities in charge of maintenance. Furthermore, we examined if such problems get more aggregated as time passes by and different garden shows have different types of problems. In this study, types of waterscape facilities examined are pond, waterway, wall fountain, water glass, trough, mist, Cascade, fountain, rain garden, waterfall. An analysis of the maintenance status of waterscape facilities introduced in the existing gardens confirmed that problems could arise in two main respects. One is due to poor maintenance by the organizers of the garden show, and the other is due to the poor design of waterscape facilities by the garden designer.

Kimchi industry in Korea has grown rapidly with the increasing domestic and overseas demand of Kimchi. Currently, there is an increase trend of consuming the commercial Kimchi products, although the Kimchi consumption/adult/year is decreasing (36.6 kg in 2018). The amount of commercial Kimchi consumption in 2018 was 757,000 M/T (metric ton), out of 1,892,000 M/T of the estimated total consumption, and the size of Kimchi market was estimated to be 1,398 billion wons. In 2019, 29,628 M/T of Kimchi was exported to 78 countries, and 306,047 M/T was imported, mainly from China. In the future, for the technological upgrading of Kimchi plants, a large capital investment to the production of commercial Kimchi will be required. The accelerated glocalization of Kimchi will bring a steady increase in Kimchi export. Moreover, with the development of global Kimchi culture, the values and images of Korean national brand can be greatly improved.

In order to promote cervical cancer prevention behaviors of female college students, this study aims to explore factors that influence cervical cancer prevention behavior of female college students. Specifically, this study examined mediating roles of knowledge and self-efficacy in predicting behavioral intention to prevent cervical cancer. An online survey was conducted on female college students. Analysis of 236 female college students' responses revealed that health status influenced behavioral intention to prevent cervical cancer indirectly through knowledge and self-efficacy. Exposure to Internet media influenced behavioral intention to prevent cervical cancer directly and indirectly through knowledge and/or self-efficacy. Knowledge influenced behavioral intention to prevent cervical cancer directly and indirectly through self-efficacy. Based on the findings of this study, we provided implications for planning of educational programs and campaigns to promote the cervical cancer prevention behaviors of female college students.

Since the 21st century, the internet has been an essential existence due to the 4th industrial revolution and the development of IT technology, but the focus of the existing development direction has changed a lot over the past three years. COVID-19, also known as a pandemic, first occurred in 2020 escalating rapidly and cutting off society existing as an off-line form in every country. As non-face-to-face life continues, everyday technologies using online such as hybrid work have promptly developed, and an online virtual world called Metaverse excelled and became a phenomenal topic. In this study, theoretical considerations and the current status of the metaverse, which are being highlighted as global trend keywords, are examined, and the utility of the metaverse in the fashion industry was studied. Based on this study, it is expected that the work is recognized and brings helpful intuitions as a way to revitalize the shrinking fashion industry by using the metaverse, which is still in its infancy.

The purpose of this study was to analyzed the current status of the of the Virtual Reality-based education for healthcare students in Korea. Five databases (KoreaMed, KMbase, NDSL, KISS, KiSTi) were searched prior to July 2022. A total 10 articles met the inclusion criteria. 5 articles developed VR-based education contents and the other 5 articles were using vSim already developed as a VR education program and evaluated the effectiveness. As a result of this literature review, VR-based education program was found to be effective in improving the healthcare students' competency. VR-based education program could be considered to improve the healthcare students' clinical practice ability.

To combine the science and technology creativity necessary in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is necessary to cultivate talents who can discover new knowledge and create new values by combining various knowledge with self-directed mathematical competencies. This research attempted to lay the foundation for the curriculum for fostering future creative convergence talent by preparing, executing, and reflecting on the learning plan after learners themselves understand their level and status through self-directed learning. Firstly, We would like to present a teaching-learning plan based on the essential capabilities of the future society, where the development of a curriculum based on mathematics curriculum and intelligent informatization are accelerated. Secondly, an educational design model system diagram was presented to strengthen the self-directed learning ability of mathematics subjects in the electronic engineering curriculum. Consequently, through a survey, we would like to propose the establishment of an educational system necessary for the 4th industry by analyzing learning ability through self-directed learning teaching methods of subjects related to mathematics, probability, and statistics.

In this paper, we examine the shortening of the theatrical window whereby films play at theaters for 90 days as one of the most portentous issues that could reshape the Hollywood film industry. We first examine the windows system that protected the status of movie theaters and the studios' attempt to shorten the theatrical release to create a premium VOD window in response to the declining revenue of DVDs after 2007 and the rise of streaming services. We then look at some of the major disruptions in distribution COVID-19 brought about. We also explore the shortening of the theatrical release in the wake of the pandemic and shows the changes in the theatrical release, along with the expansion of streaming services, raise questions over the long-held primacy of the theatrical release and the definition of film with the theatrical release as its part. From this, we highlight Hollywood at the crossroads of major changes with its future less certain than ever before.
