This study has been performed to review critical issues affecting continuous residence in profit(self-paid) assistant living facilities for the elderly in the United States. There are three factors influencing continuous residence of frail elderly in the facilities as long as they want without involuntary discharge : Financial ability, behavioral aspects, and facility management situation. Regarding financial ability, income, purchase of insurance policy, cashable assets, willingfulness to pay, and health status were found to be crucial determinants of continuous residence. Overall, 40-50% of those aged 65+ are financially able to stay in the assistant facilities as long as they want, without involuntary discharge. As for behavioral aspects, extroversions, congeniality, culture & life style, conscientiousness, preference for person, and physiological habits were found to be crucial determinants of continuous residence. As for the management situation, it is essential that facilities reach nature level of self-governing rights of the older residents and good local images, and conflicts among the residents and managing parties be resolved on the agreeable standards of inspectors. finally in this study, it is proposed that in Korea, national pension authority offer a liability package for assistant residence, for the case of individual bankruptcy.

In this paper, in order to resolve this problem, implement the analysis system for harmful traffic for defending new types of attack and analyzing the traffic takes a real-time action against intrusion and harmful information packet.

This study aims to empirically verify the factors affecting fire prevention, which is a dependent variable, by establishing a safety culture related to fire prevention, fire prevention education, fire prevention equipment, fire safety knowledge, and fire safety practices as independent variables. The results obtained from the multiple regression analysis were derived as follows in relation to fire prevention. The fire prevention education was found to have the most statistically significant effect on fire prevention, and the fire prevention facility was found to have a statistically significant effect on fire prevention. In addition, fire safety practice was found to have a statistically significant effect on fire prevention.

This study intends to review the quality factors of library service for the disabled using user-centered approach. For the empirical review of quality factors, Nine quality factors were drawn after analyzing the current library service quality factors and the standards of library service for the disabled. Using these factors, The survey for identifying importance of factors and the qualitative evaluation of service cases were performed in this study. As a result of this survey, the most critical but relatively weak quality factors were facility, collection and staff factors. And the qualitative evaluation results of service cases indicated that the reading culture program and the information service factors were critical.

Women's Hall is a local facility that supports women's activities in the community and has the purpose in establishing self-support for low-income women and women's participation in society. Its functions are largely separated into social welfare, education, culture, and community services. The purpose of this study is to highlight and discuss the characteristics of space for community functions among other functions of Women's Hall. It has investigated and analyzed ten cases in total of all the women's halls that have opened since 1995. The examples selected for study have been analyzed in terms of the functions of each community space, layout of the rooms, finishing materials, and colors. The result of the study indicates that social demand for women's halls is changing. However, the characteristics of the space or the environment are incapable of accommodating the change. In order for the women's halls that will open in the future to perform acceptable community functions, they need to determine the degree of satisfaction and preference of the users and come up with a specific proposal for improvement.

In recent years, the cultural industry is considered to a major industry in the 21 century, and performing culture is growing rapidly in Korea. Also, rapid development in terms of quality and quantity can be found in the diversification of usage, a trend focusing on the space for performance, and an emphasis on the accessibility between the stage and auditorium. In addition, active research is being conducted on the performing arts facilities, a relationship between the stage and auditorium, and a space programfor each space considering users. However, most of the current studies are conducted byviewing the facilities in a two-dimensional space. Similar to other cultural facilities, such as museums and galleries, performing arts facilities have been planned in the thinking that the ratio of capacity increases in proportion to the area. Considering a dimensional capacity in the spatial composition of performing arts facilities is important, but it has been ignored until now. Therefore, in order to analyze performing arts facilities in the three dimensional approach, this study is conducted centering on the actual capacity and provides basic data that can be used for planning a construction of future performing arts facilities.

Recently, our country is to be diversification a leisure activity and tourism form by income level rise and traffic circumstance improvement. At a recent, with an increase of traffic demand and a spread of automobile culture, the safety, convenience and speed of highway is required. On this study, using the real time kinematic GPS, observation value at a center line of ready-built road is obtained and then design specification of highway, IP, IA and R are obtained by least square method. Using those IP, IA and R, we analysed the risk factor of highway alignment by the standard for structure and facility of the road. With using RTK GPS, we could analyse dangerous element of highway alignment rapidly and cope with dangerous area of the existing road. It is also proved to apply availably whether we determine alignment improvement is needed or not or analyze source of accident related with alignment in the region having a high traffic accident rate.

Through the increasing of social economies and cultural activities, the Food service industry have been growing up steadily in spite of low economic activity. Therefore, This Study aim object at probing into the characteristic of Interior finishing material and then analysing the characteristics of space and material according to the typical distribution. In the Interior planning of Restaurant, firstly it is need to probe the Characteristics of interior finishing material at the basic element. This study is going to apprehend the constitution of space and difference of proportion or a point of sameness in the characteristics of material. Moreover, the recent importance of Interior finishing materials by means of fire in the Restaurant, legal fractional multiple use business establishment are recognized of publicity. Throughout probe and analysing, it can append more efficiency and elasticity in the usage of interior finishing material.
