Varied opinions have been raised on Sushen's regional activities. These are Hwabuk drift theory, Shandong Peninsula drift theory, Liaotung Peninsula theory and the theory of Eastern Area in Heilongjiang Province. The theory of Sushen Dongbei that Sushen's regional activities are the Eastern Area in Heilongjiang Province is widely accepted in the chinese academia. However, this paper try to criticize the theory of Sushen Dongbei on the basis of archeological data. Prehistoric monuments of the Eastern Area in Heilongjiang Province are Singaeryu remains, Sonamsan remains, Aenggaryeong remains, Seokhoejang remains, Jinheung remains and Aporyeok remains. Residential group in the Eastern Area of Heilongjiang Province lived the economic life of fishing and hunting and were involved with primitive agriculture only in partial area. Its society was patriarchal clan steps of phallocentrism. By considering the cultural exchange between the Eastern Area in Heilongjiang Province and Chinese dynasty, the aspect of cultural exchange in two areas was unascertainable. Therefore, the theory of Sushen Dongbei is a mistake in Chenshou's "Sanguozhi" and nothing but a theory that base on the unified theory of Zhonghua minzu and the nationalistic intention in China.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of social interaction on cultural aspects, verbal interaction, and discussion maps in scientific modeling instruction on combustion in middle school. Revised-CLEQ (Cultural Learning Environment Questionnaire), verbal interaction framework, discussion maps analysis were implemented for this study. The results of study follow respectively. First, the characteristics on cultural aspects of middle school students showed cooperation rather than competition in terms of collectivism. Students' attitudes to learning science tended to depend on others' idea, and students were passive and reluctant to present their comments when they were modeling work. Second, for the characteristics of verbal interaction, they simply presented knowledge related to build a model. The response to comments and feedback was relatively few. Third, discussion maps showed a lot of interaction for reponses that was alternatively brought the concept of commenters, which students were depended on a specific one, and responses. There were not many interaction for elaboration, which were described to have new presented ideas, corrections, and reasons when they exchange their ideas. In this study the model type of interaction affecting the formation of the students understanding of and in our country, it makes a lot of social interactions as the basis for teaching system could be utilized.

A lotus flower pattern of the shape of straight and pointed petals has the forms whose lotus flowers are pointed, and is one of the representative forms of lotus flower pattern of Baekjae along with a round and a triangle protruded style. This style of lotus flower pattern was applied to roof-end tiles, halos of Buddhist images, containers of Buddha's bones, head supports, etc. from the Hanseong period to the Sabi period of Baekjae. However most of lotus flower patterns that remain today were used for the tiles of the Sabi period. Many of them were produced under the influence of the Northern Dynasties and the Southern Dynasties of China, and of Goryeo, which implies the active cultural exchange of Baekjae at that time. Among the present lotus flower patterns of the shape of the straight and pointed petals, that of the earliest time is from Gyeongdang district of Poongnab mud castle and belongs to the mid-fifth century. However there is a higher chance that the gradual subsequent excavation and research will find some tiles of the earlier period and other styles can also be unearthed.

Through specific cases, this article examines the causes and measures to overcome cultural divergences most frequently encountered by Koreans living in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese in terms of mode of communication, mode of living and mode of doing business. Historical reality proves that Vietnam and Korea have a lot in common in history, culture and society, due to the influence from the Chinese culture on both countries. However, each country has its own acculturation, hence, there exist, apart from the normal dissimilarities, differences between the two countries especially in natural environment andpolitical systems. As a result, in Vietnam, Koreans and Vietnamese have met with quite a lot of divergences in communication, business and living activities. In order to overcome these cultural divergences, in addition to the ceaseless efforts made by Koreans in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese, there should be concern, assistance as well as cooperation between the people and the authorities of the two countries. We should draw lessons from the groundless or trivial affairs which, springing from the Chinese people's dislike for Koreans, have been blown up and disseminated on the internet; where by we are to reconsider the relationship between Koreans and Vietnamese. What is more, Korea still feels historically ashamed to have sent nearly 350,000 soldiers to the wa rin Vietnam for economic purposes in the past. As our predecessors brought about that historic shame to get bread for our fatherland in exchange, our generation today should approach Vietnam out of a sense of responsibility towards history. Having experienced a period of economic difficulties, Vietnam innovated and started its open-door policy in 1987. However, this event should not be regarded as the reason for us to approach Vietnam with only one rigid economic principle.

Streptococcus thermophilus 510 was investigated as n potential source of $\beta$-galactosidase. Optimum cultural conditions for maximum enzyme production were 0.5% loctose as carbon source, initial pH 7.0, 37 $^{\circ}C$, and 18 hours of cultivation. The enzyme was purified to homogeneity by ammonium sulfate fractionation, protamine sulfate precipitation, Sephadex G-200 gel filtration, and DEAE-Sephadex A-50 ion exchange chromntography. The purified enzyme exhibited an optimum pH at 1.0, and an optimum temperature of 5$0^{\circ}C$. Metal ions such as Mn$^{2+}$ and $K^+$, dithiothreitol, and 2-mercaptoethanol stimulated $\beta$-galactosidase activity. Ethylenediamine tetraacetic add, 8-hydroxyquinoline, Hg$^2+$, Zn$^{2+}$, Co$^{2+}$, $Ca^{2+}$, and galactose were inhibitory. The $K_m$ and V$_{max}$ for o-nitrophenyl $\beta$-D-galactopyranoside were 1.25mM and 88.50$\mu$moles/min.mg protein, respectively. The molecular weight was estimated to be 520,000, and the amino acid composition indicated relatively high contents of glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, and valine.

The purpose of this thesis is to elucidate the exchange between the East and the West during the 17th century through analyzing the oriental influences described in paintings in Delft school, a trade port of East India Company. The scope of this study focused on the 37 pieces of works by Johannes Vermeer and 31 pieces of the paintings by Pieter de Hooch, which are all the existing work, as analysis targets. The resources of this study were from previous papers about the history of costumes, paintings and culture, Internet sources and other qualitatively analyzed articles. The items that the study looked into were Delft porcelains and Delft tiles, Turkey carpets, costumes and accessories pearl earrings and headdresses. The study looked into oriental factors observed in each of these items, and analyzed them. In terms of oriental factors that are frequently observed in paintings, porcelains (100%), Deft tiles (100%), pearl earrings (100%) and (most) carpets (92.3%) turned out to have oriental nature, but this was not the case with head dresses (7.7%) and clothing (0.3%). These results happen to coincide with the previous investigation in that the oriental factor was reflected in the culture first, while the effects on costumes significantly lagged behind. This progress in cultural exchange can be seen through the noted use of Chinoiserie, a technique that is representative of the Chinese culture, in the 18th century. Through Japonism, the influence of Japanese culture into Europe was introduced, in detail, in 19th century. These results suggest that there are sufficient amount of sources that could be used to study the effect of orientalism to the Western culture. This study intends to look at how the oriental culture affected those of Europe by researching the Delft school of Netherlands during the 17th century.

To reduce crop damage from root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne spp. chemical, cultural, physical control methods were compared in commercial greenhouse for 3 years from 1992 to 1994. Timing of sol exchange for economic losses due to the nematodes is important: every 3 years for coarse sand (Masatto) and every 4 years for red-yellow soil. Control effects on Meloidogyne spp. in cucumber were 78.2% in Dazomet DP, 72.1% Carbo G+Soil reverse+submergence, and 66.3% in Carbo G+submergence. Pesticide effects were temporally different after treatment: 77.7~80.6% in 20 days and 33.7~49.5% in 60 days. Cropping system in oriental melon gave an excellent control effect of 81.1% at oriental melon/rice culture. All methods controled root-knot nematodes at the time of the treatment but the number of the nematodes increased at the end of the season. However, soil exchange was effective for 3 years. The most economic control practice is rotation with rice for every three years.

Most people acquire information visually. Screens of computers, smart phones, etc. constantly stimulate people's eyes, increasing fatigue. In this social phenomenon, the realistic and rich sound of the 21st century's state-of-art sound system can affect people's bodies and minds in various ways. Through sound, human beings are given space to calm and observe themselves. The purpose of this paper is to introduce immersive yoga training based on 3D sound conducted together by ALgruppe & Rory's PranaLab and to promote the understanding of immersive audio system. As a result, people, experienced immersive yoga, not only enjoy the effect of sound, but also receive a powerful energy that gives them a sense of inner self-awareness. This is a response to multidisciplinary exchange required by the knowledge of modern society, and at the same time, informs the possibility of new cultural contents.

In this paper, I approach corporate social responsibility as a discourse metadiscursively shaping the social relationship between corporations and society. Using a discourse-centered approach to culture, I examine how early discussions (involving legal disputes) on the rights of corporations to give evolved into a public sphere discussion as to how corporations can be viewed and redefined as social actors with capabilities to perform socially meaning actions, which here is "responsibility." I discuss how corporate social responsibility currently operates as a metadiscourse of corporate personhood, ethics, and corporate citizenship. Then, using insights from Mauss, I analyze how corporate social responsibility might be comparable to a Maussian gift exchange. Corporate social responsibility actions that are performed, indeed, are gift exchanges in that they involve the ideology of the free gift and the implicit expectation of a return to the giver. In the meantime, I argue, that in the case of corporate social responsibility, it is not the act of giving gifts (e.g., grants) that can lead to social alliances but rather the talk of gift giving, a departure from the ceremonial gift exchanges observed by Mauss. That is, here, the talk of giving shapes social alliances, thus displacing this function from the act of giving itself. The PR strategies deploy talk of the gift as a metapragmatic strategy, inviting various forms of role alignment on the part of diverse, potential and actual, participants, in a framework of corporate-sponsored gift exchange in which potential recipients compete, again at the level of metapragmatic description, to become the chosen gift recipient.

The local governments have utilized overseas offices of businesses within their jurisdiction as a forward operating base to discover and expand the overseas market. In addition, overseas offices of businesses are expected to play a big role in economic, cultural, and personal exchange, and collection of information regarding overseas market trends. Recently, inviting foreign capital, promoting cities, and attracting foreign tourists are being done through them. Since foreign capital invitation has an effect on creating jobs, the population influx, increasing local government revenues, there is a high degree of competition for it among local governments. Also, while local governments have set out to actively attract foreign tourists through city promotion marketing and developing products in connection with their region, overseas offices of businesses are playing a major role in doing the job. However, due to low performance satisfaction against the budget invested, there have been criticisms that they need to improve efficiency. As a result, each local government is faced with a task to seek efficient operational plans since overseas offices of businesses in each local government are expected to play a bigger role in trade support and international exchanges.
