The purpose of this study is to contribute to the development of a source of cultural contents by proposing extension possibility of cultural contents based on an original source. To this end, this article examined an aspect of Sherlock Holmes contents based on the novel "Sherlock Holmes" published in 1887. It has been produced as 217 different contents from 1899 to 2017 after publishing the novel Sherlock Holmes, and consequently, it has become the best material for the study of the expansion of contents. As a research method, we examined the concept of Transmedia with the change of media environment. Next, we examined the production method of "Sherlock Holmes" contents, analyzed the transformation factors according to each media, and presented the expansion of contents through "Sherlock Holmes" contents.

This paper will concentrate on how various particular Southeast Asian conditions created a distinct Southeast Asian cultural identity despite a very challenging geographical and historical diversity in the region. The paper will argue that Southeast Asians demonstrate an ability to adapt to changes and new values but also exhibit fatalism through a very high degree of passive acceptance to political and other changes that affect their society. The paper identifies a degree of environmental and geographical uniqueness in Southeast Asia that shapes context and gives rise to very distinct cultural traits. The historical transformation in the region brought about by colonialism and nationalism, combined with this geographical and political make-up of the region, had an immense impact on Southeast Asian society as it fostered adaptability. Finally, the political transitions brought about by various conflicts and wars that continued to affect the area in rapid succession all throughout the 20^th century likewise contributed immensely to a local Southeast Asian fatalistic response towards change. Historically, Southeast Asia demonstrated these socio-cultural responses to such an extent that these are argued to permeate the region forming a distinct aspect of Southeast Asian culture.

문화원형을 창작소재로 다루어 현대적으로 개발하는 사업이 꾸준히 추진되어 왔다. 하지만 문화원형을 단순히 재현하고 현대매체로 전이시키는 작업을 벗어나 현 시대를 살고 있는 수신자 즉, 대중들이 원하는 욕망을 통찰하고 있지 않은 콘텐츠 개발은 무의미 하다. 과거 사람들이 욕망하던 것들과 현대인들의 욕망은 완벽히 일치될 수 없기 때문이다. 본 연구는 한국의 문화원형으로 존재하는 '불가살이(不可殺伊)'를 현대에 알맞은 문화콘텐츠로 컨버전스하기 위해 시작되었다. 종래의 '불가살이'에 대한 근거를 바탕으로 창의적 캐릭터를 개발하기 위해 고전의 현대적 변용의 방법과 의의, 그리고 캐릭터가 가지고 있는 경제적 가치와 향후 개발의 방향성을 알아보기 위한 사례들을 살펴보았다. 한국의 문화원형인 '불가살이(不可殺伊)'는 한국형 몬스터로 당대 사람들의 소망을 투영시켜 반전과 영웅의 성격을 가지고 있으며, 쇠를 먹고 불과 연관된 특성은 '불가살이'만이 가진 독자적인 캐릭터다. 그것을 바탕으로 현대적 감각으로 재탄생된 '불가살이'는 쇠를 다루는 연장을 무기로 장착하고, 불과 싸우는 소방관의 이미지를 투영시켰다. 본 연구는 문화원형의 성공적인 현대적 변용을 위한 캐릭터 제안 뿐 아니라 캐릭터가 가진 가치를 새롭게 전개하리라 생각한다.

사회 전반적인 디지털 전환은 코로나 바이러스의 유행과 함께 급속도로 진행되고 있다. 특히 문화유산 및 박물관 분야에 있어 디지털 전환은 문화유산의 보존, 관리, 활용의 전반에 걸쳐 이루어지고 있다. 이에 대응하기 위해 디지털 문화유산 정보를 선택, 활용하기 위한 박물관 전문인력의 디지털 리터러시 함양의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 현재의 박물관 전문인력의 디지털 역량 교육은 일방향적인 이론과 일방향적 실습 교육으로 디지털 리터러시 함양에는 이르지 못하고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해 우리는 가상박물관을 활용한 디지털 역량강화 프로그램을 제안한다. 우리는 참여적 박물관, 협동학습, 프로젝트 기반 학습 이론을 기반으로 한 교육 커리큘럼을 제안한다. 학습자는 디지털 문화유산 정보의 획득, 선택, 활용하는 전 과정을 개별, 협동, 상시, 전시물, 프로젝트 기반 학습 프로그램을 통해 경험한다. 우리는 전문가로부터 교육적 측면, 박물관 교육 측면, ICT 기술 교육 측면에서 평가받아 그 활용성을 입증하고 개선점을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 박물관 전문인력의 디지털 역량 강화에 기여할 것이다.

In the global context, particularly in Christian nations, Christmas is considered a culturally and ethically significant time. In this study, we examine Charles Dickens' novel, "A Christmas Carol," and the celebration of Christmas in Korea. We explore the values of Christmas in Korea derived from the significance and importance of this novel. These values include repentance, empathy, compassion, and the importance of humanity. Korean Christmas is regarded as a time for practicing these values, bearing a message akin to the transformation of characters like Scrooge. Furthermore, "A Christmas Carol" conveys a message of improvement and change over time, emphasizing change and growth in Korean Christmas. People reflect on their past, correct their mistakes, nurture hope for the future, and experience personal growth and transformation. Additionally, the novel raises awareness of social injustice and inequality, offering alternatives. In Korean society, Christmas encourages the willingness to care for and help others, facilitating discussions and understanding of societal issues. For these reasons, "A Christmas Carol" is considered a culturally and ethically significant time in Korean Christmas, and the two are intertwined in various aspects. This study explores the interaction between cultural change and ethical teachings by 'A Christmas Carol' and investigates the impact of this work on Christmas culture and social change. It serves as the basis for emphasizing moral principles and humanity during the Christmas season, and this research provides suggestions for future research directions, aiming to deepen the understanding of Dickens' work and the importance of "A Christmas Carol." Through these efforts, it is expected that valuable insights into the connection between Christmas culture and moral messages will be gained. In this study, we will delve into the enduring appeal and cultural significance of "A Christmas Carol," discussing how this novel has evolved into a beloved holiday tradition and a true symbol of Christmas. We will also examine the adaptation of this novel into various media and its influence on holiday season celebrations. Insights into the impact of this novel on Korean society and its continued significance in modern times will be provided, suggesting a direction for a healthier and more desirable path for Korean society.

Multi-culturalization in our society may be the cause of many problems, but if appropriately dealt with, diversity brought on by multi-culturalization could resolve chronic abuses in education and create a new culture, thereby contributing greatly to national development. The purpose of this study was to examine the current research on multi-cultural education and to provide a normative orientation to multi-cultural education. The literature research was conducted between March 2008 and September 2009. The followings are the findings of this study. First, the results reveal that the appropriate target of a multi-cultural society should not be assimilation, but rather, multi-culturalism. Multi-culturalism has greater adaptability, and the key lies in its respect for human rights, its strengthening of multi-cultural capacity, and its consideration for the minority by moving toward corporate multi-culturalism that aims for equality in results. Second, the first form of multi-cultural education emphasizes neutrality and argues that it is the best way to respect different cultures. This form of multi-cultural education emphasizes neutrality toward "sameness." In this context, sameness means equality of the rights of human beings. The other form of multi-cultural education emphasizes diversity and argues that it is the best way to respect different cultures. It focuses on the recognition of particularity. But it reveals its shortcomings when it excludes interaction not only between an individual and the culture, but also between the insider and outsider of the culture and its social institutions. Thus, multi-cultural education for mutual understanding is suggested. Third, it has been found that pure homogeneous nationalism must be destroyed, but nationalism needs to transform itself rather than be abolished in a globalized and multi-cultural society. Moreover, on behalf of pursuing open nationalism, the self-transformation of nationalism is advisable, in order to for it to overcome its antagonistic and exclusive nature.

본 논문은 쑤저우의 핑장 역사문화 지구을 예로 들어 Python 기술을 적용한 Ctrip.com에서 1436개의 관광객 댓글 데이터를 수집하고, 네트워크 텍스트 분석 방법을 사용하여 빈도 단어, 의미 네트워크 및 감정을 분석하여 대운하 문화의 관광객 인식 특성과 수준을 평가하였다유산.연구 결과: 평강역사문화지구 관광객들의 인식에 자연인문경관, 역사문화축적, 강남운하 풍경이 잘 나타나 있다 ; 관광객들은 평강로 역사문화지구에 대해 비교적 긍정적인 감정을 가지고 있지만, 지구의 개조와 개선은 여전히 큰 여지가 있다.마지막으로 보호우선, 문화통합, 혁신적 활용 등의 측면에서 대운하 문화유산에 대한 관광객의 인식을 높이기 위한 대책을 제시했다.

Under the powerful influence of economical and social transformation, namely Post-Industrialization since the 1980's, old industrial cities in western europe faced a severe urban crisis such as high unemployment rates, demographic decline, urban slums, lack of infrastructures and economic shocks. In order to overcome their urban decline, They had to attempt to find a creative re-modelled and re-imaged Urban Development Strategy for the future. Thus Urban Regeneration has been a serious issue of debate in europe. First of all, Urban Regeneration based on cultural strategy have played an increasingly important role in the Post-Industrial cities and regions since 1980's. The purpose of this study is to find out the organized characteristics of Urban Regeneration based on Cultural Strategy by analyzing successful overseas case "Landesgartenschau in Ruhrgebiet, Germany, where has been changed from an old industrial city to a Culture-Service- based City significantly over last several years. It's inner-city old industrial areas with amount of derelict under-used industrial Heritages have been remodelled and reimaged to a creative and attractive public spaces involving Arts and cultural activity by Urban Regeneration based on Cultural Strategy, namely, "Landesgartenschau".

The goal of this study is to find a design pattern of platform of chapel according to acceptance of community's social activities and classify a forms of platform design between urban and rural community church. It was surveyed by 18 community churches including of 8 rural churches. And it was comprised in main contents that this study surveyed about social functions of church and composition of room, a transformation of worship and platform, and furniture of platform. As a results of this study, I could suggest a conclusions as follows; firstly, community churches are trying hard to make their social functions wide and deep. Secondly it was necessary for them to prepare a spaces and rooms for service of community people like a social welfare and christian cultural activities. Thirdly, the form of platform and style of worship were serviced by transformation for the acceptance of community requirements. Finally, the service style of chapel and platform have been transformed in a view point of accommodation of community since early 2000.

Recent studies of science and technology "in-the-making" revealed that the process of designing material artifacts is not a straightforward application of prior images or theories by one (or more) person(s) isolated from his or her (their) environment. Rather, designing is a process contingent on the social and material setting for both engineering designers and students. Over the past decade, designing technological artifacts has emerged as an important learning environment in science classrooms. Through the analyses of a large database concerning an innovative simple machines curriculum for sixth-and seventh-grade students, we accumulated valid evidence for the nature of the designing process and science learning through it. In this paper, we show that design actions intertwine with the transformation of the objectified raw materials and artifact, the designer collective, and the mediating tools enabling that transformation, which constitute the elements of an activity from the perspective of cultural-historical activity theory. We conceptualize the continuous change of relation between material artifacts, designers, and tools throughout the design activity as co-evolution. Two episodes were selected to exemplify synchronic and diachronic change of relations inherent in co-evolving activity system. Finally, we discuss the implications of co-evolution during design activity for science learning.
