  • In recent years, olefin cross-metathesis (CM) has emerged as a powerful and convenient synthetic technique in organic chemistry; however, as a general synthetic method, CM has been limited by the lack of predictability in product selectivity and stereoselectivity. A number of excellent studies have recently appeared in the literature which have shown that with the correct catalyst and reaction conditions CM can be used to access a variety of di-and trisubstituted olefinic products in moderate to high yield with good E/Z ratios. • Purpose - The purpose of the study is to propose a theoretical framework of cross-border e-commerce ecosystems based on blockchain technology. The ecosystem includes five systems, namely, crossborder supply chain intelligent system, cross-border logistics system, cross-border payment system, cross-border product quality traceability system and cross-border customs supervision system. Design/methodology - This study firstly derived the main improvement factors for the new ecosystem based on blockchain through prior research and expert interviews on cross-border e-commerce. Then explored the use of virtue of decentralization, anti-counterfeiting traceability, consensus mechanism, smart contract and other means of the core technology of blockchain to overcome the bottleneck of cross-border e-commerce development among Korea, China, and Japan. Finally, proposed valuable implications in both theoretical and practical perspectives. Findings - As a result, we combined with the problems existing in cross-border e-commerce among Korea, China and Japan, this paper proposes a solution based on blockchain. On this basis, it constructs a cross-border e-commerce ecosystem among these three countries, including five systems. In addition, we discuss the main problems existing in the current blockchain, such as low transaction concurrency, security loopholes, and inconsistent standards, the corresponding countermeasures are proposed from the technical level, security level and industry standards. Originality/value - This study is the first to apply the blockchain technology to solve the cross-border e-commerce problems in Korea, China and Japan, which is of pioneering significance in both literature and practice. Block chain technology is in the ascendency. This study provides technical solutions for promoting the development of cross-border e-commerce import and export trade between Korea, China and Japan.

  • We find the necessary and sufficient conditions for the smash product algebra structure and the crossed coproduct coalgebra structure with th dual cocycle $\alpha$ to afford a Hopf algebra (A equation,※See Full-text). If B and H are finite algebra and Hopf algebra, respectively, then the linear dual (※See Full-text) is also a Hopf algebra. We show that the weak coaction admissible mapping system characterizes the new Hopf algebras (※See Full-text).

  • The multi-stage shape drawing is used to obtain long shaped products with high levels of dimensional accuracy and quality. It is important to design the cross sectional shapes of the intermediate passes to meet the required dimensional accuracy of the final product in the multi-stage shape drawing. Until now, the cross sectional shapes of the intermediate passes have been designed by the experiences. It is still remained unsolved problem to design the cross sectional shapes of intermediate pass drawing dies in the multi-pass shape drawing. In this study, a new technique is proposed to design the cross sectional shapes of intermediate passes. The proposed method is applied to a multi-stage shape drawing for a LM-guide which is one of the representative shape drawing products. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, FE-simulation and experiments have been carried out. The dimensional accuracy of the proposed method is compared with that of the conventional shape drawing process designed by the industrial engineers.

  • The cross sectional shape of intermediate die is one of important parameters to improve dimensional accuracy of final product in shaped drawing process. Until now, it has been designed by the experience or trial and error of the expert. In this study, the cross sectional shape of intermediate die for spline shape is determined by the electric fields analysis and scale factor method. The result of the electric fields analysis and scale factor method have been compared with that of the expert method. The effects of cross sectional shape on the dimensional accuracy were investigated by using FE-simulation. And then the multi-stage shaped drawing experiments were performed to verify the results of FE-simulation. As a result, the cross sectional shape from the electric fields analysis and scale factor method had the good dimensional accuracy. These two methods can be used for the method to obtain the cross sectional shape of intermediate die in shaped drawing process.

  • While tube bending is a conventional forming technique, it is still used to make curved products for load-bearing members or aesthetically pleasing parts in various manufacturing industries such as automotive, aerospace, and others. Whole or local deformation of the final product such as springback, distortion, or local buckling are of interest in metal forming or precision manufacturing. In this paper, the factors affecting the cross-sectional deformation are explored. A 5-axis stretch bending machine was used for two-dimensional bending with extruded AA6082-T4 rectangular tubes. Three different bending sequences were employed: stretch before bending, stretch after bending, simultaneous bending and stretch. Furthermore, by considering both the stretch and bending angle, cross-sectional deformation was also analyzed. It was observed that employing stretch bending techniques can effectively reduce cross-sectional deformation and contribute to overall quality enhancement. Through this study, it was revealed that these factors have an impact on the cross-sectional deformation of the tubes.

  • Cost reduction, time to market, and quality improvement of software product are critical issues to the software companies which try to survive in recent competitive market environments. Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE) is one of the approaches to address these issues. The goal of software product line is to maximize the software reuse and achieve the best productivity with the minimum cost. In software product line, software components are classified into the common and variable modules for composition work. In this paper, we proposed a dynamic composition process based on aspect-oriented programming methodology in which software requirements are classified into the core-concerns and cross-cutting concerns, and then assembled into the final software product. It enables developers to concentrate on the core logics of given problem, not the side-issues of software product such as transactions and logging. We also proposed useful composition patterns based on aspect oriented programming paradigm. Finally, we implemented a prototype of the proposed process using Java and Aspect to show the proposed approach's feasibility. The scenario of the prototype is based on the embedded analysis software of telecommunication devices.

  • In B2B e-Marketplace for free gifts and goods, product-mix recommendation is provided frequently by analysing customer logs and/or performing collaborative and rules-based filtering. This study proposes a new process that encompasses the genetic algorithm and key working processes of B2B e-marketplace based on the previous cooperate client order data. Efficiency and accuracy of the proposed system have been confirmed by cross-confirmation of accumulated data in the e-marketplace. The system can provide better opportunities for manufactures and suppliers to select optimized product-mix without time consuming trials and errors in their B2B e-marketplace networks.

  • The twisting and the bending of extruded product are caused by the shapes of products and by the shapes of die surfaces and by the shapes of die land. Because the elliptical shape and the circular shape of the extruded product have the symmetry line of cross-section area, the twisting and the bending of product has not occurred. But the analysis by the DEFORM-3DTM show that the twisting and the bending of extruded product can be occurred by the twisting of the twisting of the die land and by the curving of the die land. The results by the analysis show that the twisting angle of the extruded procduct increases by the twisting angle of the die land and the curvature of the extruded products increases by the radius of bending of the die land.

  • This study evaluates the economic impact of product innovation by using firm-level data from the Community Innovation Survey conducted in Japan. It accounts for possible technological spillover from innovation activities and examines the extent to which new-to-market product innovations contribute to firm performance. Econometric analysis using a simultaneous equation model reveals that new-to-market product innovation is likely to increase a firm's sales without cannibalizing those of existing products and generate more technological spillover to other firms. Moreover, such innovation is more likely to emerge from firms collaborating with academic institutions. The paper concludes by discussing policy implications of these findings as well as points to the importance of cross-country comparison between Korea and Japan.
