상호상관함수를 이용한 지문인식 (Fingerprint Verification using Cross-Correlation Function)

  • 본 논문에서는 상호상관함수를 이용한 지문인식 기법을 제시한다. 본 기법은 특징추출, 지문정렬, 지문매칭으로 구성되는데, 이중에서 본 논문은 새로운 지문정렬 기법을 제안한다. 본 지문정렬 기법에서는 특징점의 융선방향 각도에 대해 상호상관함수를 적용하여 두 지문사이의 회전각도를 구하고, 그후 회전된 지문으로부터 두 지문간의 이동변위를 구하여 지문을 정렬한다. 본 정렬기법은 과도한 탐색에 의존하지 않고 두 지문의 회전각도와 이동변위를 구할 수 있다 제시된 기법으로 지문인식 실험을 한 결과 2.086%의 타인수락오류율(FAR)에 대해 17.299%의 본인거부오류율(FRR)을 얻을 수 있었다.

The Effects of Various Bag-Carrying Styles on the Muscle Tone and Stiffness and the Spinal Alignment of Adults with Rounded Shoulder Posture during Treadmill Walking

  • Background : There is lack of studies on the effects of the bag-carrying style on the shoulder muscles and body alignment in adults with rounded shoulder posture (RSP). Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of various bag-carrying styles on muscle tone, muscle stiffness and spinal alignment in 20 adults with RSP as they were walking on a treadmill. Design : Crossover Study Design. Methods: A subject performed treadmill walking for 15 minutes at a speed of 4 ㎞/h while carrying three different types of bags: a backpack, a cross bag, and a shoulder bag. Results : The results showed that the main effect of timing was observed in the muscle tone for all the variables and in muscle stiffness only for the upper and lower trapezius muscles. As for the main effect of timing, the muscle tone of the upper trapezius and the pectoralis major significantly increased in all conditions, while the muscle tone of the lower trapezius significantly decreased in all conditions. The muscle stiffness of the upper trapezius significantly increased in all conditions, while the muscle stiffness of the lower trapezius significantly decreased in all conditions. As for the spinal alignment, the dimple distance data values significantly decreased for the cross-bag style. Conclusions : This study demonstrated that walking with a heavy bag, regardless of the bag-carrying style, increased muscle stiffness around the shoulders in adults with rounded shoulder posture, and walking with a cross-bag also induced changes in spinal alignment.

  • The objective of this study is to develop a highly accurate micro tool alignment system applicable to the micro machining technology. In a specific application such as micro hole punching, radial clearance between micro tools is order of a few micron. Under this micron scale tool clearance, accuracy of tool alignment is very important for ensuring hole quality. In the present study, a two-way image acquisition system was developed, which can produce overlapped image of both micro tools that face each other, and applied to the tool alignment in the micro punching. Also, to meet alignment accuracy of tools within $1\mu\textrm{m}$, the cross correlation image processing algorithm was employed. With this system, $25\mu\textrm{m}$ punching tools with $1\mu\textrm{m}$ radial clearance could be accurately aligned.

  • 도로교통 안전진단에 있어 도로의 형상분류를 통한 도로 선형 및 횡단면 데이터의 추출은 매우 중요한 작업이다. 기존의 조사원에 의한 도로안전진단은 많은 시간과 비용이 요구되는 반면 도로안전진단을 위한 다양한 정보를 제공하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 레이저 스캐닝 장치를 장착한 차량측량시스템을 이용, 수치사진측량시스템 기술을 활용하여 자동으로 도로형상을 분류하고, 도로 선형 및 횡단면 데이터를 추출하는 방안이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 모바일 레이저 스캐닝 데이터를 취득하여 처리하고, 이를 통해 도로 선형 및 횡단면 데이터를 추출할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고, GPS-VAN 을 이용 취득된 모바일 레이저 스캐닝 데이터를 처리, 도로 선형 및 횡단면 데이터를 추출하는 연구를 진행하였다.

탄소저감형 다차원 도로선형설계를 위한 솔루션 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Solution Algorithm for Multi-dimention Road Alignment Design Considering Low-Carbon)

  • Government efforts for green growth policy initiatives demand low-carbon technologies in the road construction industry. The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm of a road alignment design solution for establishing the multi-dimensional information, and to calculate carbon emission quantity due to the geometric design elements in the planning phase of road alignment. The paper developed a calculation method for carbon emission quantity by drawing a speed profile reflected in the operating speed, acceleration and deceleration, which are majors factor of carbon emissions while driving and by applying a carbon emission factor. From this effort, it enabled alignment planning to reduce carbon emission. Object-based parametric design methods of the cross-sections were proposed for alignment planning, and the paper demonstrated a BIM-based road alignment planning solution. The proposed solutions can provide multi-dimensional information on carbon emission quantity and cross section elements through driving simulation. It is expected to allow construction of eco-friendly roads by deriving optimal road alignment to minimize environmental costs.

기능 도메인 예측을 위한 유전자 서열 클러스터링 (Gene Sequences Clustering for the Prediction of Functional Domain)

  • Multiple sequence alignment is a method to compare two or more DNA or protein sequences. Most of multiple sequence alignment tools rely on pairwise alignment and Smith-Waterman algorithm to generate an alignment hierarchy. Therefore, in the existing multiple alignment method as the number of sequences increases, the runtime increases exponentially. In order to remedy this problem, we adopted a parallel processing suffix tree algorithm that is able to search for common subsequences at one time without pairwise alignment. Also, the cross-matching subsequences triggering inexact-matching among the searched common subsequences might be produced. So, the cross-matching masking process was suggested in this paper. To identify the function of the clusters generated by suffix tree clustering, BLAST and CDD (Conserved Domain Database)search were combined with a clustering tool. Our clustering and annotating tool consists of constructing suffix tree, overlapping common subsequences, clustering gene sequences and annotating gene clusters by BLAST and CDD search. The system was successfully evaluated with 36 gene sequences in the pentose phosphate pathway, clustering 10 clusters, finding out representative common subsequences, and finally identifying functional domains by searching CDD database.

회전식 레이저를 이용한 도로 횡단경사 평가에 관한 연구 (The Road Cross Section Evaluation With The Rotational Laser Scanner)

  • 도로의 안전성은 종단선형, 평면선형, 횡단경사(편경사), 노면온도 등 여러 가지 요인에 의하여 결정되며 이러한 각종 데이터는 도면으로 구하기 어렵고 실제 도면과 현황 데이터가 포장의 덧씌우기 등으로 달라지는 경우가 있다. 이러한 데이터를 측량하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 비용이 필요하고 차량의 통행이 빈번한 곳에서는 위험한 작업이 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국건설기술연구원의 도로 안전성 조사 분석차량인 RoSSAV(Road Safety Survey & Analysis Vehicle) 차량을 이용하여 주변 교통류 속도와 맞추어 차량에 부착된 GPS-INS와 회전식 레이저를 이용하여 도로의 횡단경사를 취득하고 분석을 통하여 도로의 안전성을 분석하고 도로의 안전성 개선방향에 대하여 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 측정된 값의 정확도를 비교하였으며 회전식 레이저데이터 처리 알고리즘을 제시하였다.

  • We have studied electro-optical characteristics and stability of liquid crystal director depending on electrode patterning of common electrode on top substrate in patterned vertical alignment (PVA) mode. In the present studies, new type of common electrode pattern was suggested to enhance a dark state by reducing interference area due to data signal. According to the simulation result, PVA device with new common electrode pattern contributed to Improvement of an aperture ratio.

선형기반 시설물을 위한 Flexible BIM 시스템의 설계 (Design of Flexible BIM System for Alignment-Based Facility)

  • 최근 건설 산업은 BIM (Building Information Modeling)의 도입으로 인하여 많은 혜택을 얻고 있다. 하지만 도로나 철도와 같은 선형기반 설계공종의 경우는 구간별 표준횡단면의 정의와 선형의 배치를 통한 서피스(surface)모델을 생성함으로써 3차원 설계가 이루어지나, 현재 설계 소프트웨어에서 제공되는 횡단면 설계요소가 제한적이거나 국내실정에 맞지 않은 점이 많고, 생성된 서피스모델은 선형구간의 시 종점에 대해 일체화 되어있어 공정, 물량, 단가 등의 BIM 소요정보와 세분화된 연계를 위해서는 모델 수정 등의 많은 후속작업이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 3D 선형기반설계가 적용되는 사회기반시설물을 대상으로 3차원 모델의 분절 및 속성정보의 운용이 자유로운 '선형기반 인프라시설물을 위한 Flexible BIM 시스템'의 설계를 통하여 BIM의 활용성을 극대화 하는 것을 목표로 한다.

서픽스트리 클러스터링 방법과 블라스트를 통합한 유전자 서열의 클러스터링과 기능검색에 관한 연구 (A Study on Clustering and Identifying Gene Sequences using Suffix Tree Clustering Method and BLAST)

  • The DNA and protein data of diverse species have been daily discovered and deposited in the public archives according to each established format. Database systems in the public archives provide not only an easy-to-use, flexible interface to the public, but also in silico analysis tools of unidentified sequence data. Of such in silico analysis tools, multiple sequence alignment [1] methods relying on pairwise alignment and Smith-Waterman algorithm [2] enable us to identify unknown DNA, protein sequences or phylogenetic relation among several species. However, in the existing multiple alignment method as the number of sequences increases, the runtime increases exponentially. In order to remedy this problem, we adopted a parallel processing suffix tree algorithm that is able to search for common subsequences at one time without pairwise alignment. Also, the cross-matching subsequences triggering inexact-matching among the searched common subsequences might be produced. So, the cross-matching masking process was suggested in this paper. To identify the function of the clusters generated by suffix tree clustering, BLAST was combined with a clustering tool. Our clustering and annotating tool is summarized as the following steps: (1) construction of suffix tree; (2) masking of cross-matching pairs; (3) clustering of gene sequences and (4) annotating gene clusters by BLAST search. The system was successfully evaluated with 22 gene sequences in the pyrubate pathway of bacteria, clustering 7 clusters and finding out representative common subsequences of each cluster
