  • In seismic reflection data processing, the crossdip correction effectively focuses the stacking energy near the sharp bends of a crooked survey line. Additionally, approximate 3-D information on the reflector (e.g., true crossdip angle and lateral continuity) are locally investigated as a by-product of the crossdip correction procedure. Improvement of the signal-to-noise ratio and estimation of reflector crossdip attitude are tested, in terms of both common midpoint bin direction and processing-line type, using synthetic seismic reflection data. To effectively image the reflection energy near bends in seismic survey lines, straight-line binning is preferred to slalom-line binning.

  • In this paper, we design an optimal path for multiple mobile robots. For this purpose, we propose a new method of path planning for multiple mobile robots in dynamic environment. First, every mobile robot searches a global path using a distance transform algorithm. Then we put subgoals at crooked path points and optimize them. And finally to obtain an optimal on-line local path, ever)r mobile robot searches a new path with static and dynamic obstacle avoidance.

  • This paper describes formulation for algorithm of time historical response analysis of vibration for straight-line structure. This method is derived from a combination of the transfer stiffness coefficient method and the Newmark method. And this present method improves the computational accuracy of the transient vibration response analysis remarkably owing to several advantages of the transfer stiffness coefficient method. We regarded the structure as a lumped mass system here. The analysis algorithm for the time historical response was formulated for the straight-line structure containing crooked, tree type system. The validity of the present method compared with the transfer matrix method and the Finite Element Method for transient vibration analysis is demonstrated through the numerical computations.

  • The anatomical diagnoses derived from the adventitious buds, the dimples, and their surroundings, which break out often in the Populus alba ${\times}$ P. glandulosa, were investigated by the light microscope. In the anatomical structure derived from the adventitious buds, the vessel seldom occured, the diameters of the cell were smaller and the wall thicknesses were thicker than those of the normal woods. The wood fibers around the adventitious buds were crooked, frequently had the septa, and the adjacent rays showed the multiple rows. The wood fibers of the dimples were extremely crooked from pith to the hark direction and the rays showed the multiple rows. The vessels in the line-like discoloration zone around the adventitious buds and the dimples formed the traumatic tyloses.
