정보시스템 실무자들이 필요로 하는 지식 및 기술 (Critical IS Knowledge and Skills Required by Indusrties : Findings form Korea)

  • This paper classifies the critical knowledge/skill set required to IS practitioners according to content or domain of knowledge : IS technology knowledge/skills, organizational and societal knowledge/skills, interpersonal knowledge/skills, and personal traits knowledge/skills. The survey reveals that Korean IS practitioners rate interpersonal knowledge/skills and personal traits knowledge/skills the most important, and organizational and societal knowledge/skills the least important. Specifically, they rate creative thinking, critical thinking, interpersonal communication skills, team working skills, personal motivation, operating systems, programming languages, DB/data warehouse, IS technological trend, networkicommunicationisecurity especially important. The survey also shows that Koran IS practitioners feel knowledge deficiency in almost all knowledge/skills areas. The results confirm that the curriculum of universities, the training and education programs of industries, and IS/IT education policy of the government should be revised as soon as possible.

  • 일반적으로 임베디드 소프트웨어 교육을 위해 다양한 교구와 학습 방법이 개발 및 활용이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 소프트웨어 공학교육에서 요구되고 있는 창의적 문제해결 방법을 학습하기 위하여 스마트 로봇을 활용하고자 한다. 스마트 로봇을 사용한 창의적 공학교육으로 그 NCS 직무교육 효과를 분석하고 임베디드 소프트웨어교육 향상을 위하여 RSPM(Robot Based Software Programming Method) 공학교육 방법에 대해 제시한다. 임베디드 소프트웨어 공학교육에서 좀 더 창의적이고 소프트웨어 코딩 능력향상을 위해 스마트 로봇인 EV3 시스템을 활용하였다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 소프트웨어 공학교육에 미치는 정도, 흥미, 프로그램 능력 향상과 영향에 대하여 설문 및 분석을 통하여 창의적인 RSPM 공학교육과정을 통하여 EV3 시스템을 교구로 활용하여 성공적인 임베디드 소프트웨어 코딩 능력 가능성에 대해 제시하고자 한다. 특히 RSPM 공학교육은 스마트 로봇 NCS 직무로써 미래 유망한 임베디드 소프트웨어분야의 직업인으로 성장할 수 있도록 경쟁력을 갖춘 기초 스마트로봇 직무학습 중심으로 구성하였다.

탐구 요소 별 글쓰기와 통합적 문제 해결 글쓰기 활동을 통한 창의적 사고력 신장 방안 (The Enhancement of Creative Thinking Skill through the Writing Activity about the Basic Inquiry and the Integrated Inquiry Elements)

  • 과학 글쓰기가 학생들의 창의적 사고력 향상에 영향을 주는지 알기 위해서 먼저 7차 과학과 교육 과정에서 제시한 기초 탐구 사고력과 통합적 탐구 사고력의 탐구 요소 별로 수업 시간에 활용할 수 있는 과학 글쓰기 유형을 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 34차시의 수업 전략을 구성하여 고등학교 1학년 학생들에게 투입하였다. 연구 결과를 보면 실험반과 비교반의 창의적 사고력 점수 차이가 통계적으로 유의미하였다(p<.05). 창의성을 협의의 정의인 발산적 사고력으로 한정하고 창의성 항목인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성에 관련된 창의적 사고력을 각각 분석해 보면 유창성과 융통성에서 실험반과 비교반 학생들의 점수 차이가 통계적으로 유의미하였고(p<.05), 독창성에서는 실험반과 비교반 학생들의 점수 차이가 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다(p<.05). 과학 글쓰기를 강조한 수업 전략은 창의적 사고력 중 특히 유창성과 융통성 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Capstone Design Project by Team Activities

  • This paper deals with the introduction of capstone design project by team activities in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Korea Maritime University. This course is referred to as Creative Engineering Design for spring semester of 4th-year undergraduates. The course focuses on creative thinking and cooperative mind to students by learning engineering design skills, realizing their idea through design project and recognizing practicality of their systems. The intent of the course is to provide a true "capstone" experience, where students can combine their skills to achieve the successful completion of a project. This paper describes class process and evaluation method, and cooperative works with mentees and industrial mentors connected through Hanium network for IT mentoring activities.

발산하기와 수렴하기를 강화한 탐구 교수 전략의 개발 및 적용 효과 (The Development of Inquiry Teaching Strategy for the Enhancement of Divergent and Convergent Thinking Skills and the Effects of Its Applications)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 탐구 과정을 수행하는 동안 발산적 사고와 수렴적 사고를 경험할 수 있는 수업 전략을 개발하고 이를 적용함으로써 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 발산하기 모형, 수렴하기 모형을 탐구의 각 단계에 활용할 수 있는 수업 전략을 개발하였다. 그리고 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 5월부터 12월까지 개발한 수업 전략을 실시한 후 이 수업 전략이 창의적 사고력, 비판적 사고력에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 그 결과 창의적 사고의 하위 범주인 유창성과 융통성, 독창성이 모두 유의미하게 향상되었다. 또한 창의적 사고력과 그 하위 요소인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성에 대한 인지 수준, 성별, 학업 성취도는 교수 전략과의 상호 작용 효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 비판적 사고력에 대해서는 가설 설정, 변인 통제, 자료해석 및 자료변환에서 유의미한 신장을 나타냈다. 또한 비판적 사고력에 대한 인지 수준, 성별, 학업 성취도는 교수 전략과 상호 작용 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

자유 탐구에서 과학 탐구 노트를 활용한 ASI 모듈 개발 및 적용 효과 -지구와 우주 영역을 중심으로- (The Effect Development and Application of ASI Module using Science Notebooks in Open Inquiry Activity : Focused on Earth and Space)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the teaching effects after conducting ASI module in the open inquiry activities of the elementary science class. in order to understand the effects of ASI(Authentic Scientific Inquiry) module application using science research notes in open inquiry activities to students' science research ability. The results of this study were as follow. First, the after test results were covariance-analyzed to be the effects to science process skills were statistically significant in 0.5 significance level. Second, in the covariance analysis of the after test of the study group and the comparative group, the effects to scientific creative problem solving skills were statistically significant in 0.5 significance level. Third, the covariance analysis of the after test in the effects of ASI module application using science notebooks to students' scientific attitude revealed that the two groups' average difference was statistically significant in 0.5 significance level. In conclusion, application of the ASI module using science notebooks had a positive effect on improvements of students' science process skills, science creative problem solving ability and scientific attitude. Therefore, the ASI module using science notebooks is hopefully to be provided as an effective instructive strategy in the open inquiry activities courses in school in the future.

IT분야의 창의적 발상을 위한 비주얼 커뮤니케이션의 필요성 (The Necessity of Visual Communication for Creative Thinking in the field of IT)

  • In a situation where the demand for creative talent creating new values and ideas is increasing day by day in the 21st century, students dealing with technology in the IT field have quite insufficient communication skills of materializing ideas and logically visualizing them. Therefore, the importance of systematic means of expression and methodology that can convey ideas more effectively and sensitively in the IT field is increasing. In this study, we recognized the importance of idea visualization education in the IT field by reviewing the relevant theory and examining creative thinking system cases and sought a more systematic visual communication method by investigating the awareness on creative thinking and expression. The results obtained in this study are considered to not only provide academic value as basic research in building new education programs in the IT sector in the future but be an opportunity for further research associated with creative talent training.

Innovation Capacity of Student: A Case Study in Vietnam

  • This study aimed to explore the factors affecting the innovation capacity of students at the National Economics University, Vietnam. Researchers used the innovation capacity model based on six factors, including personality traits, future orientation, creative skills, social interaction, content knowledge, and management skills. The empirical analysis used data from the survey of 303 students at National Economics University, Vietnam, with reliable tools (SPSS 26.0 software). The data were analyzed by testing the reliability of the scales, correlation analysis, and Pearson' Linear Correlation Coefficient, exploratory factor analysis, as well as regression model based on the survey data. The research results identified the following factors affecting innovation capacity of students: management skills, social interaction, and personality traits have the strongest impact on innovation capacity of students; content knowledge has the following strongest effects on innovation capacity of students; and finally the creative skills that affects on innovation capacity of students. There is also a positive relationship between all the factors and innovation capacity of students. The result can serve as useful reference sources for scholars who are interested in the innovation field. It also helps university's managers and policymakers build the appropriate environment to improve innovation capacity of students.

ASI 프로그램이 과학영재 학생들의 과학 창의적 문제해결력과 과학 학습 동기에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the ASI Program on the Scientific Creative Problem Solving Skill and Science Learning Motivation of Science Gifted Students)

  • This study investigates the effect of ASI program on the improvement of gifted students' scientific creative problem solving skill and science learning motivation. ASI developed by reflecting the characteristics of scientific inquiry. The study was aimed at Twenty elementary gifted students from C Gifted Education Program participated in the sixteen sessions of ASI curriculum from June 2010 to October 2010. First, we found that the ASP program is effective to improve the gifted students' scientific creative problem solving skill overall. Specifically, the ASI was effective in the sub-catagories of scientific creative problem solving skills such as 'fluency', 'flexibility', 'originality', and 'appropriateness'. However, there was no significant change in the sub-category of 'reliability' and 'elaborateness' Second, we found that the ASP program is effective to improve the gifted students' sscience learning motivation overall. Specifically, the ASI was effective in the sub-catagories of science problem solving skills such as 'intrinsic motivation', 'correlation with personal goal', 'self-determination', and 'fear of evaluation'. However, there was no significant change in the sub-category of 'extrinsic motivation' and 'self-efficacy'. summary, the ASI program was shown to be effective for improving their scientific creative problem solving skill and scientific learning motivation; This study implies that the ASI curriculum would be a effective tool to help gifted students to improve their ascientific creative problem solving skill and their motivation to learn science.

초등 영재의 페르미 추정을 통한 창의적 문제해결력 분석 (Elementary Gifted Students' Creative Problem Solving Through Fermi Estimate)

  • This study explored the characteristics of elementary gifted students' creative problem-solving skills combining creativity and problem-solving ability based on their work on Fermi estimation problems. The analysis revealed that gifted students exhibited strong logical validity and breadth but showed some weaknesses in divergent thinking abilities (fluency, flexibility, originality).
