  • A new level set based topology optimization employing inner-front creation algorithm is presented. In the conventional level set based topology optimization, the optimum topology strongly depends on the initial level set distribution due to the incapability of inner-front creation during optimization process. In the present work, in this regard, an inner-front creation algorithm is proposed. in which the sizes. shapes. positions, and number of new inner-fronts during the optimization process can be globally and consistently identified by considering both the value of a given criterion for inner-front creation and the occupied volume (area) of material domain. To facilitate the inner-front creation process, the inner-front creation map which corresponds to the discrete valued criterion of inner-front creation is applied to the level set function. In order to regularize the design domain during the optimization process, the edge smoothing is carried out by solving the edge smoothing partial differential equation (PDE). Updating the level set function during the optimization process, in the present work, the least-squares finite element method (LSFEM) is employed. As demonstrative examples for the flexibility and usefulness of the proposed method. the level set based topology optimization considering lightweight design of 3D shell structure is carried out.

개인과 집단의 특성이 지식창출에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Individual and Team Characteristics on Knowledge Creation : An Analysis by Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM))

  • This paper investigates the effect of stress on knowledge creation. The goal stress of resource inadequacy and job stress had negative influences on knowledge creation. However, the cohesion and mastery climate of team had positive influence on knowledge creation. Therefore this paper verifies the moderate role of the cohesion and mastery climate of team on the relationship between stress and knowledge creation. The model developed was tested using data collected from knowledge based industry with 375 members in 69 teams in 12 different firms. A Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM) was used to test the hypotheses generated from the model. Results show that job stress had a negative influence on knowledge creation as we expected but the goal stress didn't. The mastery climate of team affected knowledge creation positively and moderated the relationship between the goal stress and knowledge creation. Furthermore, the team cohesion had a positive influence on knowledge creation. The study provided some implications that practitioners should consider the stress when they design jobs for team members and suggest them the way to manage their job stress when they work.

  • 최근 들어 스마트 폰 사용의 확대로 우리 생활에 큰 변화가 나타나기 시작했다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 스마트기기의 활용으로 나타나고 있는 스마트워크와 일자리 창출을 위한 메커니즘에 대하여 살펴보고 그 발전방안을 찾고자 하였다. 따라서 스마트워크에 대한 명확한 개념적 정의와 IT를 통한 정보의 융합과 산업의 정보화가 가져온 신 시장 개척, 그리고 ICT를 통한 일자리 창출의 해외사례를 분석하였다. 나아가 스마트워크 플레이스하는데 있어서 국민의 문화적인 인식전환이 필요하다. 또한 민 관 협력을 기반한 클러스터 개발이 일자리 창출을 도모할 수 있을 것이다. 더불어 학계-협력업체-서비스업체 등의 상생을 통해 지역경제 발전의 주도적인 역할 수행을 강조하고 있다. 이를 위해 정부적 차원에서 스마트워크에 대한 정책적 지원과 민관이 협력할 필요가 요구된다.

팀 다양성이 지식창출에 미치는 영향에서 갈등과 흡수역량의 역할 (The Effect of Team Diversity on Knowledge Creation : with Conflict and Absorptive Capacity)

  • Considering how an organization is timely competitive for survival in the rapidly changing environment of today, it is more important to get new information and knowledge continuously by teams. However team system provides organization with opportunities and, at the same time, is provoked into conflict by the diversity of team members. This study examines the effect of team diversity on knowledge creation and investigates the influence of absorptive capacity and conflict as mediators. The sample population consisted of officials who work in teams at two business corporations that have successfully achieved knowledge creation. The result presents team diversity serves as an effective factor for absorptive capacity and absorptive capacity also serves as an effective factor for knowledge creation. In contrast, team diversity brings team members into conflict and conflict has a negative effect on knowledge creation. Another significant finding of this research is the fact that a positive effect of absorptive capacity on knowledge creation is greater than a negative effect of conflict on it. It clearly demonstrates that team diversity can be an important determinant of knowledge creation if an organization tries to reduce team member's conflict.

Impact of Knowledge Creation and Sharing on Knowledge Use Among Librarians in Federal Universities in Nigeria

  • This paper aims to determine the impact of knowledge creation and sharing on use by librarians in federal universities in Nigeria. The study adopted the survey method of the correlation type, where 518 librarians were surveyed through a close-ended questionnaire, descriptive statistics, Pearson Product Moment Correlation coefficient and multiple regression were used to test the hypotheses. Findings indicate that significant relationships exist between knowledge creation and knowledge sharing (r=0.52), knowledge sharing and knowledge use (r=0.63) and knowledge creation and knowledge use (r=0.52), respectively. Knowledge created and shared by the librarians is used for better work performance. The paper adds value to the existing body of knowledge by proposing the need to understand the importance of knowledge creation and sharing as facilitators of knowledge use by librarians. This will, in turn, enhance service delivery to library patrons, thereby improving library patronage. This paper is limited to knowledge creation and sharing and its impact on knowledge use. Types of knowledge created and channels through which knowledge is shared are outside the focus of this article.

Murray Schafer의 사운드스케이프 개념을 바탕으로 한 무용작품 의 창작과정 연구 (A Study on the Creation Process of Dance based on the Concept of Murray Schafer's Soundscape)

  • 본 연구는 머레이 쉐이퍼(Murray Schafer)의 사운드스케이프(Soundscape) 개념을 통해 소리의 구분, 지각, 요소의 이해를 바탕으로 일상생활 속의 소음과 비음악적인 소리를 활용한 무용작품 의 창작과정과 이에 대한 음악적인 효과 및 새로운 안무 유형의 가치를 탐구하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 두었다. 실기기반연구(Practice-based Research)의 방법론적 연구에 따라 실기, 이론, 평가의 단계를 몸적 자료(Somatic Data)로 축적하였으며, 『공간디자인과 조형연습』(2003)의 일부분을 기반으로 형상화 방법, 움직임 형식, 공간화 방식으로 제시하여 분석의 근거를 마련하였다. 그 결과 창작과정에서 사운드스케이프, 즉 일상생활 속의 소리에 대한 음악적 효과 및 새로운 움직임 창작방법을 발견해낼 수 있었으며, 소리 역시 작품의 전반적인 분위기, 움직임의 의미, 작품의 주제를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 가능성을 탐구하였다. 아울러 사운드 스케이프라는 개념을 바탕으로 연구되어 나타난 소리에 대한 잠재적 가능성은 무용작품의 또 다른 창작환경을 만들어갈 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

Investigating Factors Affecting Value Creation and Its Distribution on Company's Performance

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of business processes, quality of human resources and organizational culture and its distribution in creating value to achieve competitive advantage. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 90 employees of Delivery service companies in Makassar City. Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis was used as data analysis. Result: this study indicates that business processes do not directly affect competitive advantage, but business processes will have an effect if they go through the value creation process as an intervening variable, while the quality of human resources and work environment have a direct effect on competitive advantage and have a direct effect on Value creation. The quality of human resources and organizational culture also have an indirect effect on competitive advantage through the value creation process. This research also indicates that value creation has an effect on competitive advantage. Conclusion: Competitive advantage will be realized if organizational processes run well, company management that able to carry out good organizational processes and able to create a conducive organizational culture, will be able to distribute company resources to create value that leads to achieving competitive advantage for companies in the future.

The Moderating Effect of Media Synchronicity in the Communication Media Use and Knowledge Creation

  • Social communications using information and communication technologies (ICT) for social interactions have been making a significant impact on task performance in organizations. However, most of the existing studies on ICT (e.g., telephone and email) have only focused on technical improvement of communication efficiencies (e.g., information exchange and storage). In this paper, we claim that ICT may be another alternative source of knowledge creation that enables employees to work, find solutions, and achieve their goals faster and better. We investigate the impact of ICT in terms of both tasks and social aspects with knowledge creation as task performance. Also, we investigate the moderating effect of media synchronicity on these relationships. This study contributes to the understanding of contemporary communications media usage and its performance in organizations. We collected and analyzed survey data of 248 company employees, using PLS. The results indicate that task urgency and social influence directly affect ICT usage, and even knowledge creation. Also the media synchronicity moderates the relationship between the characteristics of a given task and ICT usage and the relationship between ICT usage and knowledge creation. Theoretical and practical implications of these findings are also discussed in the paper.

디지털 구술기록의 생산 및 정리·보존 절차에 관한 연구 (A Study on Creation, Management, and Preservation Process of Digital Oral Records)

  • 본고에서는 디지털 구술기록의 생산 및 정리 보존 단계 전 영역에 걸친 전체 절차를 수립하고자 한다. 구술기록은 생존자의 기억을 통해 기록화 시키는 작업이라는 점에서, 신뢰할 수 있는 구술기록의 생성 및 정리 보존이 핵심적 사안이다. 또한 구술은 구술자와 면담자, 촬영자 등 다자간의 협업을 통해 수행되는 작업이라는 점에서, 체계적인 절차의 정립은 필수적 사안이라 할 수 있다. 특히 최근 디지털 기술의 발전으로 구술기록은 대부분 디지털 형태로 생성됨을 감안할 때, 생산부터 정리 보존에 이르는 세밀한 절차는 신뢰할 수 있는 디지털 구술기록의 채록 및 전승을 위한 가장 기본적인 인프라가 된다. 이에 본고에서는 디지털 구술기록의 특성 분석을 기반으로, 디지털 구술기록 생산 절차와 정리 보존 절차로 양분하여 실제 절차를 도출하였다.

정량화 이론을 활용한 논픽션 창작도구 모델 연구 : <소트 오피스> 및 <스토리헬퍼> 비교분석 중심으로 (A Study Based on Quantifying Theory for a Non-fiction Creation Tool : Focus on Comparative Analysis of and )

  • 본 논문은 기존 디지털 서사 창작도구가 허구적 서사를 중심으로 한 엔터테인먼트 스토리텔링 분야에 편향되었음을 지적하고, 논픽션 저작에 특화된 창작도구를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 디지털 창작도구에서 서사 정보를 수치화하는 알고리즘인 정량화 이론을 살펴보고, 정량화 이론을 바탕으로 한 가십 시스템 개념을 활용한다. 논픽션을 위한 가십 시스템 설계에 앞서, 가십 시스템 개념을 통해 <소트 오피스>와 <스토리헬퍼>를 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 <소트 오피스>의 연동형 구조는 논픽션의 제재를 찾는 창작 발상 단계에 유용하며, <스토리헬퍼>의 분리형 구조는 이야기 구조를 조직하는 제재 배열 단계에 적합함을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 논문은 가십 시스템의 두 구조 간 적절한 결합을 통해 창작 소재인 사실 정보를 이야기로 전환하는 방식을 제시함으로써 논픽션에 적합한 디지털 서사 창작도구를 가정하는 바이다.
