This study examined the variables that affect whether consumers change broadband internet services by examining their past experiences and intention to switch carriers by targeting consumers who have switched broadband internet service providers. Among adult consumers who intended to switch broadband providers, 341 people who had experience were subject to logistic regression analysis using SPSS for Windows ver. 17.0 to examine frequencies, means, percentages, and factor analysis. The following results were revealed. First, the targets were currently using broadband internet service in the order Company S > Company L > Company K > others. Excluding the others, Company K had the most conversions (from 96 to 78), followed by Company S (from 107 to 97), and Company L (from 43 to 97), which more than doubled the number of subscribers. The reasons for switching carriers in the past were as follows: for Company K, consumers switched to other companies because of unsatisfactory fee services; for Company S, consumers switched to other companies because of quality, advertising and promotional activities, and commitment periods ending; for Company L, the consumers switched to other companies because of fee, quality, and service; and for other companies, the consumers switched to other services because of unsatisfactory quality. Second, the analysis of the elements that determined whether a consumer will switch broadband internet service providers showed that college graduates and individuals who had switched carriers voluntarily in the past were more likely to switch to a new broadband internet service provider. Furthermore, passive consumers had a higher probability of switching. Moreover, when consumers were less satisfied with the fees and services, there was a greater chance of switching to another company.

1,281 male subjects who had been examined more than 3 times for regular check-up in one human dock center of the university hospital were studied between 1990-1995, to evaluate the effect of health counselling with life style and $\gamma-GTP$ value between 1054 normal group without intervention and 227 abnormal group with intervention, ages from 30 to 69 years old. Total mean value of $\gamma-GTP$ was $45.7{\pm}40.7$ unit with highest $\gamma-GTP$ value in age group 50-59 on initial examination. Total abnormal rate was 17.7% with the highest abnormal rate of 18.6% in age group 50-59. Initially, the value of $\gamma-GTP$ was significantly different according to the degree of alcohol intake, relative weight and smoking in normal group(p<0.01) not in abnormal group. In conclusion, the value of $\gamma-GTP$ were significantly increasing in normal group without intervention and significantly decreasing in abnormal group with intervention(p<0.05), which suggests the effect of health counselling, such as the recommendation to change the health behaviour.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze adolescents'problems, thereby to provide fundamental information for Preventive Education for Adolescents'Problems in Home Economic Education. For the data, 269 counselling cases about adolescents ere collected at C counselling center in Seoul, from January to July, 1997. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, and χ²test using the SPSS/PC+computer program. The most important results and implications of this study were as follows ; 1. The Preventive Education for Adolescents'Problems need to be programmed incorporating 'sex', 'family relationship', 'personality', 'delinquency', 'friendship', 'future plan', 'studying' and 'violence'. 2. Adolescents, whether they were students or workers, requested counseling regarding the matters of 'sex'in the general basis, while parents and teachers requested counseling with regard to the adolescents'problems of 'family relationships'and 'delinquency'. This implied that there was a perceptual difference in the adolescents'problems between adolescents and their parents or teachers. Therefore, 'communications'and 'conflict resolution'need to be included in the program. 3. There were more suggestions for a desirable preventive program : 'cooperative society'need to be emphasized ; financial, administrative and policy supports form schools and authorities are needed ; program building should be facilitated through the cooperation between the researchers in universities and the secondary school teachers in the field.
