  • At this project we developed water management program for sungju district. This program include flood forecast program, drought reduction program, irrigation scheduling program and database program. With these program we expect that operator can improve the irrigation efficiencies of the irrigation systems due to the timely irrigation on a right place, in a proper quantity and reduce the cost of maintenance. In agricultural engineering respect, the databases including water level, rainfall, the amount of flowing can be useful to the researcher who make a study of hydrology and hydraulics in rural area, Water management program record all of the TM/TC data to MDB format file per 10 minutes.

  • The introduction of newly developed intelligent and user-friendly robotics has opened a new era in shipbuilding. Together with traditional and low-cost mechanization a record level of welding automation rate has been achieved in the construction of cruise vessels. In the paper modem applications and recent developments of welding automation and robotics in shipbuilding have been described and some forecast for the future trends are given. Development in the field of shipyards will be continued with accelerated speed and we shall have interesting prospects for the near future. New laser techniques can boost the shipyards in a revolutional way when production is rapidly changing, materials will be lighter and quality demands are becoming more strict.

  • This paper presents a technique to development load control and management system in order to limits a maximum load demand and saves electric energy consumption.   • Present maintenance of a high speed railway is after the fack maintenance that executes a task when measured value goes over threshold value except some planned maintenance. It is difficult from efficient management of maintenance human resource and equipment commitment because it is difficult to predict quantity of maintenance targets. Corrective maintenance is pushed back on the repair priority of other target to need repair and it is exceeded repair cost potentially. For safety and dependable track management because track deterioration prediction is linked directly with track's life and safety of train service, it is very important that track management be based on preventive maintenance. In this study, we propose statistics model of track quality to use track inspection data and forecast model for track deterioration prediction.

  • The substitution of Electronic Commerce(EC) for the traditional transactions triggers the changes of the industry structures and promotes the cost reductions of the firms in the areas of distributions and other administrative operations associated with purchase via EC. Our study clarifies the changes of the environments attributable to EC which are faced inter-and-externally by firms and try to exhibit the trend of EC market growth through such descriptions. Regardless of the rapid spread of EC, recent studies do not show appropriately its impact on the relevant industries and our domestic economy. Therefore, our study focuses on the forecasting of the impacts of EC on the domestic productions and imports. To this end, we develop an analytic framework using the existing data in Input/Output Analysis and the estimations of the EC market growth in the future. We, finally, identify the industrial sectors whose productions and imports are estimated to be accelerated by the extension of EC and forecast the whole effects of EC on domestic productions and imports.

  • The rolling schedule procedure has been an important part of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The performance of production planning in an ERP system depends on the selection of the three parameters in rolling schedule procedure: frozen interval, replanning interval, and planning horizon (forecast window). This research investigated, in a theoretical approach, the combined impact of selections of those three parameters. The proven mathematical theorems provided guidance to re-duction of instability (nervousness) and to seek the optimal balance between stability and responsiveness of ERP systems. Further the theorems are extended to incorporate the cost structure.

  • Variability factors of transship cargo in the container transportation market analysis short term factors. In the past, studies on the factor of variability in container cargo volume have focused on long term volume forecast and increase in investment and competitiveness from strategic perspectives. Unlike previous studies, this paper analyzes factors of variability in transshipment volume rapidly varying in short term and seeks measures. Since it was identified that transshipment volume depends on vessel operation cost and port volume in long term but effectively on special strategies launched by port authorities in short term, the port authority experienced rapid drop in volume should continue to observe strategies of competition ports and to make use of strategies seeking appropriate countermeasures.

For this system we developed water management program which includes flood forecast program, drought reduction program, irrigation scheduling program and database program. With these program we expect that operators improve the irrigation efficiencies of the irrigation systems due to the timely irrigation on a right place, in a proper quantity and refute tile cost of maintenance and reduce flood and drought damages. In agricultural engineering respect, the databases including water level, rainfall, the amount of flowing can be useful to the researcher who make a study of hydrology and hydraulics in . rural area.
