In general, the PSS/E program is used for analyzing KEPCO System in terms of stability and the EMTDC Program is needed to analyze the transient characteristics of power system. The FSS/E provides various control models such as exciter. governor and PSS models whereas there ale few control of models in EMTDC. In this paper. we developed an EMTDC model for IEEET3 exciter which has been applied in KEPCO system. The EMTDC model is developed by examining PSS/E control block and using User Define Model in addition to default.lib provided by EMTDC we verify the correctness of developed IEEET3 model with PSS/E and EMTDC simulation results for the same test system.

This Paper Presents a new analytic load decrement method for the evaluation of avoided generation costs of independent power producers (IPPs), named as probabilistic load decrement method. Unlike conventional load decrement methods, the proposed method exactly consider the random outage characteristic of a generating unit, economic dispatch order, and the resulting loss of load probability. Therefore, we can Provide the exact generation avoided costs of an IPP by applying the developed method. In the case studies, we have shown the correctness and effectiveness of the method, and compared with conventional load decrement methods.

It is important the protective relay should have high selectivity and sensitivity performance and it is achieved by correct setting of the relay parametes. The verification of accurate setting for the protective relay is very difficult before a actual fault occurs. This paper reports a diagnosis expert system to verify the correctness of the relay setting by using the operation results in the power system fault simulation.

Dental care is becoming more available on the NHI(National Health Insurance) in Korea. Especially, complete denture, partial denture, dental scaling, and dental implant has been applied by NHI from 2012 to 2014. Although, the entire nation is not eligible for the benefit now, the more dental coverage of NHI is extended, the more regulaition is tightened. Essential documents for proof of correctness of dental treatment covered by NHI are dental records and the receipt book. Summary of regal regulation about them is as follows 1. Chief complaints of patients, diagnosis, progress, and act of treatment, drugs and materials of treatment, doctor's sign, date and hour should be placed accurately on dental record 2. Dental clinic should collect patients sharing of the dental cost covered by NHI. 3. Dental clinic should keep the receipt as proof of purchase of dental drugs or materials.

For the autonomous movement, the optimal pat]1 planning connecting between current and target positions is essential, and the optimal path of mobile robot means obstacle-free and the shortest length path to a target position. Many actual mobile robots should move without any information of surrounded obstacles. This paper suggests a new method of obstacle avoidment which is suitable in unknown environments. This method of obstacle avoidance is designed with a distributed fuzzy control system, and imitates a Potential Field method. A simulation confirms the performance and correctness of the obstacle avoidance.

In this paper, we introduce an ubiWarehouse system for the management of automobile parts. Because automotive parts are very various in kinds according to companies, models and manufacture year, it's hard to find exactly the desired parts and to control goods in stock. To solve this problem, we propose the model of context recognizer in which context data are expressed in a systematic type of 5W1H. And initial context data are grouped and integrated, and some conflict context information is solved. Finally user's intention is interpreted and served. As a result, the proposed system can be used to enhance conveniency and correctness of the management of various kinds of part's.

This paper presents a formalism-based methodology and its implemented environment which constitutes a sound framework for real-time systems development. The software and/or hardware systems developed in such a formal manner are well structured and maintainable. We first propose a set-theoretic VSSS (Variable Structure System Specification) formalism. This formalism is the core of the presented methodology which supports a means of formal specification for real-time systems. We then develop the environment, including VSSS language definition, a translator for the language, and supporting libraries for real-time execution. Finally, a demonstration of the methodology in development of a real-time event manager, a subsystem of an ATM-based communication system, shows the correctness and efficiency of the methodology.

In this paper, the coarse acquisition code (C/A code), for civil navigation, of the ranging codes for Global Positioning System (GPS) is studied, simulated and analyzed by using Matlab. We can see with the simulation results that the correctness of the method and feasibility, which is at simulation platform to further study on the real environment of GPS signal, can be confirmed. With using this results, we think, the complexity of tracking the satellite signal environment can be captured, and the performance of satellite receiver will be improved.

We can easily recognize the voices already known to us. But what about unknown voices? Is there any relationship between voices and the images triggered by the voices? Actually, this question has been partly addressed by Moon(2000, 2002). The current study aims at shedding some more lights on the topic by investigating the relationship between unknown foreign voices and the images triggered by them. Speech samples from 16 American males and females (8 each) were recorded and 180 Korean subjects without any knowledge of the American Speakers were asked to match the voices with the corresponding photos. And the number of corrects matches between voices and pictures of the current study was less than that of Korean-speakers and Korean-listeners case. But in terms of the majority matches, regardless of correctness, the present study showed a similar trend: that is, there is more than a chance relationship between voices and the images triggered by the voices.

In this paper, the eigenvalue sensitivity of vehicle powertrain was investigated by analytic method. The powertrain system was considered as a rigid body with multiple engine mounts, and the engine mounts were supposed as three linear springs in three orthogonal directions. The design parameters for the sensitivity analysis were engine mount properties (positions, stiffness, and orientations) and powertrain properties (mass, second moment of inertia, and center of gravity). Firstly, an effective form of eigenvalue problem for the powertrain system was introduced. Then, the analytic sensitivity of eigenvalue was derived using the equation. Lastly, the derived sensitivity equation was applied to a real powertrain system to provide its correctness and applicability.
