  • This study examines the factors that affect longevity of strategic alliances, highlighting environmental volatility, nationality, and previous experience with strategic alliances. In general, successful strategic alliances are more likely to continue to exist than unsuccessful ones. Therefore, it is argued that studying on factors affecting the continuance of strategic alliances indirectly confirms the factors of success and failure in strategic alliances. In order to conduct this study, the needed data were collected from CATI(Cooperative Agreements and Technology Indicators) Data Base, which was gathered by a group of researchers in the University of Limburg in the Netherlands. Cox's Regression was used to analyze the data. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of climbing training combined with coordinative locomotor training on muscle thickness in normal adults and to provide basic data regarding its applicability to clinical practice. Methods: Coordinative locomotor and climbing training was conducted three times per week for six weeks. Each exercise session consisted of ten minutes of warm-up and 40 minutes of the main exercise. A post-test was conducted six weeks after the training began, and a follow-up test was done two weeks after the training ended. Results: There were significant differences in the participants' external and internal oblique abdominis muscles over time (p<0.05). There were also significant interactions in the external and internal oblique abdominis muscles over time and according to group (p<0.05). Conclusion: The findings indicate that coordinative locomotor training with climbing had positive effects in normal adults, including increased thickness of the external and internal oblique abdominis muscles. The findings hold value for patient rehabilitation and clinical applications and interventions using coordinative locomotor training in combination with climbing.

  • Background : With the increase of cooperative practices (CP) between conventional western medicine and traditional Korean medicine, there have been lots of researches on the status of CP and the attitude of doctors. Objective : Since most of the research is cross-sectional, this study aims to figure out the changes in the attitude of doctors toward CP through systematic review. Method : Systematic literature searches were performed on several databases in Korea. They were categorized according to the respondents and question items and analyzed by the context of questions, similarity of respondents and measurement scale. And we analyzed the changes of response regarding to doctors' awareness and attitude to CP. Results : Thirteen survey studies including attitude of doctors toward CP were selected. These studies were conducted between 1997 and 2009 and the number of respondents of each study ranged from 20 to 702. There has been increasing awareness of CP among doctors ; however the positive responses on the necessity of CP has decreased. Regarding the type of illness effectively treated employing CP, there was a shift from neurovascular to musculoskeletal and immune diseases. Most of the studies listed different approaches to disease, prejudice of health care providers and inadequate legal system as major obstacles against CP. Conclusion : In spite of the increase of CP in the last 20 years, there has not been marked positive change in the doctors' attitude toward CP. To promote CP, it is required to confirm the effectiveness of CP through disease models and change the medical legislation policies on CP.

  • Leaving the legacies of the Cold War and other difficulties behind them, South Korea and China are building up their successful strategic cooperative partnership, moving forward toward through the development of new economic exchanges and diplomatic cooperation between the two countries, and this process is expected to gain momentum during 2015. 2015 is the third year since President Park of South Korea and President Xi of China came into office, and also the first year they have begun to implement the many declarations and promises which they have made within the context of the strategic cooperative partnership. The two nations share a common cultural heritage, and their governments should take this opportunity to leverage their partnership to enhance their economies and to improve their people's quality of life, especially for the younger generation. At a summit held in July 2014, the two leaders agreed to launch a working-level group on maritime boundary delimitation. The first meeting took place on January 29, 2015, and addressed issues of Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs) and continental shelves in the Yellow Sea, which has an area of about 380,000 ㎢. It is greatly to be hoped that the 2015 maritime boundary delimitation meeting between South Korea and China will not impair the future of bilateral relations, but rather will improve their prospects. South Korea and China must take the opportunity to secure a definitive delimitation of their maritime boundary; their strategic cooperative partnership is in good order and China is currently taking a somewhat more flexible stance on the ECS and the SCS, so an agreement on boundaries will serve as a useful model for regional maritime cooperation.

  • This study constructed an experiment group and a comparative group, composed of high school students preparing for "Na" type math exam and provided one-to-many tutoring cooperative learning. This study tested the differences between group and between pre- and post-treatment scores by group using non-parametric statistics techniques. Moreover, this study conducted an open-type survey twice and had individual interviews to examine the affective domains of students. The difference in scores between the experimental group and the comparative group was not significant. However, the difference between pre- and post-treatment math scores was only significant in the experiment group among the three groups. Additionally, the student-teacher could reflect on him or her and improve self-efficacy while teaching other ordinary students. The ordinary students were more interested and motivated in the lessons and became more confident. In terms of mathematics competency, we could see that communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and attitude & practice were improved.

  • This is the result of pesticide residue monitoring certified Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) by national agricultural cooperative federation (NACF) from 2009 to 2012. NACF evaluated simultaneously 283 pesticide multi-analysis method with GC (ECD, NPD) and HPLC. 6,590 agricultural products were analyzed in this period. As the results 1) detected 20.27% in 2009, 23.42% in 2010, 28.07% in 2011 and finally 31.75% in 2012, respectively. There was the total detected pesticide residue in the agricultural products. The violated ratio of agricultural products were 2.25% in 2009, 1.82% in 2010, 1.67% in 2011 and 3.47% in 2012, respectively. 13 pesticides went over the maximum residue limits (MRLs); carbendazim was the predominant violation. 40 pesticides; endosulfan was the predominant detected pesticide did not registered respectively crops in Korea. Most agricultural products that were under the MRLs met the safety standard, however agricultural products that contain neither registered nor set up MRL any level for example endosulfan in strawberry. Agricultural products that go over the MRLs with permitted pesticides, for example carbendazim in apple, are rejected. Because of these intricacies continual observation and evaluation will be need during GAP agricultural cultivation.

Raw data from the 2019 Community Health Survey were used, and descriptive statistical analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed using SAS 9.4 and IBM SPSS ver. 21. The healthy living practice rate was 33.8% overall, and there was a difference of 11~20% by region. In terms of individual factors, healthy living practices were significantly different in gender, age, occupation, sleep time, subjective health status, and subjective stress level. In the interpersonal factor, there was a difference in social activity for healthy living practice, and in the community factor, positive attitude toward the local physical environment, annual unsatisfied medical care, and use of health institutions were significant.
