The next generation mBcN should be built to cooperate with the wireless network to support hyper-speed and hyper-connectivity. In this paper, we propose a network architecture for the cooperation mBcN and 5G commercial network and architecture of the cooperative security gateway required for the cooperation. The proposed cooperative security gateway is between gNB and UPF to support LBO, SFC, and security. Our analysis shows that the proposed architecture has several advantages. First of all, user equipment connected with the mBcN can be easily connected through the 5G commercial radio network to the mBcN. Second, the military application traffic can be transmitted to mBcN without going through the 5G core network, reducing the end-to-end transmission delay without causing the traffic load on the 5G core network. In addition, the security level of the military application can effectively be maintained because the user equipment can be connected to the cooperative security gateway, and the traffic generated by the user equipment is transmitted to the mBcN without going through the 5G core network. Finally, we demonstrate that LBO, SFC, and security modules are essential functions of the proposed gateway in the 5G test-bed environment.

Information technology will inevitably and profoundly alter every aspect of university life. New information technologies are creating new patterns in the research and teaching, with networks enhancing information sharing and data transmission. The revolution in information technology requires that universities integrate information technology with their traditional missions of teaching, research, and public service. Enhanced mode of information access and changing information-seeking behaviors suggest the need for new library services. New technologies have opened up many new services options for libraries. The nature of and potential for new information services suggest that libraries should become better connected with other campus units. Some of these issues will no doubt be addressed by the a n.0, pplication of new technologies and by building campus information infrastructure. An important element of the needed change for enhancing the library information services is the integration of the libraries and computing centers. Libraries and computing centers deal with the same commodity-information and delivering information. For the sake of scholarship and research, the two must devise an integrated a n.0, pproach to delivering the common commodity. Computing centers have special skills in system development and telecommunications. Libraries have good human interface skills and skills for organizing knowledge. Together they could be a particularly productive team. Noting this, some universities have created new information service units which unify the present-day computing, library and telecommunication functions. Existing models range from true merging to situations where some cooperative activities are being conducted. The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction in developing of information services in academic libraries by examining the changing information environment and trends of integrating libraries and computing centers. This paper inquires into the changing information environment, the impact of imformation technology on universities and libraries, some casses of integration of academic libraries and computing centers, and effects of integration of two and suggests the developing direction of information services in academic libraries.
A workflow procedure has recently become more complicated and large scaled. In this paper, we propose an advanced workflow modeling methodology, called a fragment driven cooperative workflow modeling methodology. which enables several real workflow designers to cooperatively define a workflow model. The methodology is a Bottom-Up approach in terms of integrating a set of fragment ICNs to compose a complete workflow model. Each fragment ICN is defined by each participant in the cooperative modeling session, We also use the ICN based formal description and the ICN based graphical notation as well. Finally, we prove the feasibility of the methodology by implementing a cooperative workflow modeling system.

It is a classical integer optimization difficulty to design an optimal selection scheme in cooperative relay networks considering co-channel interference (CCI). In this paper, we solve single-objective and multi-objective relay selection problem. For the single-objective relay selection problem, in order to attain optimal system performance of cooperative relay network, a novel quantum differential evolutionary algorithm (QDEA) is proposed to resolve the optimization difficulty of optimal relay selection, and the proposed optimal relay selection scheme is called as optimal relay selection based on quantum differential evolutionary algorithm (QDEA). The proposed QDEA combines the advantages of quantum computing theory and differential evolutionary algorithm (DEA) to improve exploring and exploiting potency of DEA. So QDEA has the capability to find the optimal relay selection scheme in cooperative relay networks. For the multi-objective relay selection problem, we propose a novel non-dominated sorting quantum differential evolutionary algorithm (NSQDEA) to solve the relay selection problem which considers two objectives. Simulation results indicate that the proposed relay selection scheme based on QDEA is superior to other intelligent relay selection schemes based on differential evolutionary algorithm, artificial bee colony optimization and quantum bee colony optimization in terms of convergence speed and accuracy for the single-objective relay selection problem. Meanwhile, the simulation results also show that the proposed relay selection scheme based on NSQDEA has a good performance on multi-objective relay selection.
In ultra-dense heterogeneous networks, the amount of interference from small-cell base stations(SBS) to macro-cell user equipments (MUEs) increases significantly as the number of SBSs increases and it causes the MUEs to decrease the signal-to-interference and noise ratio(SINR) and system capacity. In this paper, we propose a small-cell based cooperative multi-point(CoMP) communication scheme that can guarantee the performance of MUEs even when the number of SBSs increases. In the proposed scheme, MUEs first find SBSs that give signal strength equal to or greater than a given SINR threshold and then they are served by different numbers of the selected SBSs using CoMP to improve the performance of MUEs. Simulation results show that the proposed small-cell based CoMP scheme outperforms other interference management or CoMP schemes in terms of the SINR and system capacity of MUEs.
Service-oriented computing offers efficient solutions for executing complex applications in an acceptable amount of time. These solutions provide important computing and storage resources, but they are too difficult for individual users to handle. In fact, Service-oriented architectures are usually sophisticated in terms of design, specifications, and deployment. On the other hand, workflow management systems provide frameworks that help users to manage cooperative and interdependent processes in a convivial manner. In this paper, we propose a workflow-based approach to fully take advantage of new service-oriented architectures that take the users' skills and the internal complexity of their applications into account. To get to this point, we defined a novel framework named JASMIN, which is responsible for managing service-oriented workflows on distributed systems. JASMIN has two main components: unified modeling language (UML) to specify workflow models and business process execution language (BPEL) to generate and compose Web services. In order to cover both workflow and service concepts, we describe in this paper a refinement of UML activity diagrams and present a set of rules for mapping UML activity diagrams into BPEL specifications.

Wireless sensor networks offer a distributed processing environment. Many sensor nodes are deployed in fields that have limited resources such as computing power, network bandwidth, and electric power. The sensor nodes construct their own networks automatically, and the collected data are sent to the sink node. In these traditional wireless sensor networks, network congestion due to packet flooding through the networks shortens the network life time. Clustering or in-network technologies help reduce packet flooding in the networks. Many studies have been focused on saving energy in the sensor nodes because the limited available power leads to an important problem of extending the operation of sensor networks as long as possible. However, we focus on the execution time because clustering and local distributed processing already contribute to saving energy by local decision-making. In this paper, we present a cooperative processing model based on the processing timeline. Our processing model includes validation of the processing, prediction of the total execution time, and determination of the optimal number of processing nodes for distributed processing in wireless sensor networks. The experiments demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed model, and a case study shows that our model can be used for the distributed application.
This paper proposes and measures the performance of a distributed EIT (Electrical Impedance Tomography) image reconstruction algorithm which has a master-slave structure. The image construction is a computation based application of which the execute time is proportional to the cube of the unknowns. After receiving a specific frame from the master, each computing node extracts the basic elements by executing the first iteration of Kalman Filter in parallel. Then the master merges the basic element lists into one group and then performs the sequential iterations with the reduced number of unknowns. Every computing node has MATLAB functions as well as extended library implemented for the exchange of MATLAB data structure. The master implements another libraries such as threaded multiplication, partitioned inverse, and fast Jacobian to improve the speed of the serial execution part. The parallel library reduces the reconstruction time of image visualization about by half, while the distributed grouping scheme further reduces by about 12 times for the given target object when there are 4 computing nodes.

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things(IoT) technology recently, multi-access edge computing(MEC) is emerged as a next-generation technology for real-time and high-performance services. High mobility of users between MECs with limited service areas is considered one of the issues in the MEC environment. In this paper, we consider a vehicle edge computing(VEC) environment which has a high mobility, and propose a task migration algorithm to decide whether or not to migrate and where to migrate using DQN, as a reinforcement learning method. The objective of the proposed algorithm is to improve the system throughput while satisfying QoS(Quality of Service) requirements by minimizing the difference between queueing delays in vehicle edge computing servers(VECSs). The results show that compared to other algorithms, the proposed algorithm achieves approximately 14-49% better QoS satisfaction and approximately 14-38% lower service blocking rate.
