  • There is a rental housing policy in Korea to support low income citizen. However, the living condition of tenants through this rental program is not work for improving, unlike the initial purpose of providing rental housings. Rental housings, which were planned to improve the residential welfare and enhance self-reliance ability of low income groups and the elderly. It's not effective any more in terms of policy purpose. To solve this problem, plans are needed to support for the construction by Farm-Housing(FH) so that the residents of can support their self-reliance by promoting creating jobs and cooperation. This paper analyze and propose some solution in terms of legal system, financing and streamlining of planing process and permission to support FH program. • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of change in the unstable support surface location during bridge exercise on the muscle activity of erector spinae and gluteus maximus. Research design, data and methodology: 12 healthy participants aged 23.32 ±1.02 were measured muscle activities of erector spinae and gluteus maximus during bridge exercise and compared between the exercise conditions; unstable support surface located on upper back and feet during bridge exercise. Paired t-test was performed to identify whether there was a significant difference in the muscle activities between the exercise conditions. Results: As a result, even though higher levels of the averaged muscle activities of both erector spinae and gluteus maximus during exercise in unstable support surface located on feet than upper back were observed, no significant differences were found. Conclusions: The change of unstable support surface location during bridge exercise for low back pain rehabilitation would be more appropriate to be used to increase levels of tension of muscle activities and train fine motor control rather than to strengthening muscle strength.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the Nursing Research Support Program on the attitudes and the barriers about nursing research. This study was conducted from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. The subject was the 45 nurses who were worked two hospitals located in P city. Twenty-three nurses in A hospital were designated as experimental group and 22 nurses in B hospital were designated as control group. The process of this study included the nursing research support program for experimental group. It was conducted nine times with nursing research methods by the PPT and handouts and nursing research feedback and spent times for support. The results are as follows: Experimental group's attitude score was lower than the control group with an average 62.65 points, 70.18 points(t=-2.380, p=.022). It means that the experimental group had a positive attitude to nursing research than the control group. In conclusion, this study revealed that it had a significant effects on decreasing nurse's stress for clinical nursing reasearch activity.

  • On an offshore plant topside, various types of offshore facilities for processing energy resources, such as oil and gas, and equipment and outfitting for connecting these facilities are installed in a limited space. An offshore plant superstructure is composed of numerous supporting rack structures and reinforcements for securing and supporting offshore installations and the related equipment. This paper describes the development of design support software to support this superstructure design efficiently. The developed design support software, which was based on AVEVA Marine's PML(Programmable Macro Language), supports the parametric method for superstructure design. A method of batch 3D modeling from 2D drawings for supporting rack structure produced in the basic and detailed design was also developed using AutoLisp. In addition, through the application example of superstructure module design, the design support software introduced in this paper can be expected to reduce the design time by more than 90% compared to the use of only basic functions of AVEVA PDMS.

  • Recently, there has been considerable talk about urban regeneration support centers that are currently promoting urban regeneration projects. The reason is that the role and authority are unclear, and the experience of each local government center is not accumulated, resulting in many trial and error and side effects. This study analyzed the current state of operations of urban regeneration support centers in Chungcheongbuk-do to find desirable ways to operate them in the future. The main findings are as follows. First, the role and division between metropolitan and basic centers and field centers of urban regeneration support centers in Chungcheongbuk-do are unclear. Second, the limitations of the center's operation methods, operational autonomy, and independence are not secured. Third, as a participant in urban regeneration, it has relatively low authority and status compared to administration. Fourth, the lack of professional manpower related to urban regeneration and the instability of staff employment were derived as overall problems.

  • In recent decades, unpredictable earthquakes around the world have caused massive damage. The incidence of earthquakes in Korea that are larger than M5.0 has increased the social demand for earthquake policies. As the seismic performance of buildings has been proven to be the most effective damage mitigation responsibility from past earthquake damage cases, the US and Japan are implementing a seismic retrofitting support system. In Korea, this is being implemented through tax benefits, but it is being neglected by the owners of private buildings. As a solution to this problem, this paper reviews, compares, and analyzes the domestic and overseas seismic retrofitting support systems, and suggests ways to improve the policy and support system for revitalizing the seismic retrofitting of private buildings based on the results.
