The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of the Peer Relationship Program on the school adjustment of Ha-nul with the school maladjustment by peer problems. To achieve this purpose, single subject pretest-pottiest design was implemented for Ha-nul with school maladjustment in the third grade of the elementary school. As for the testing period of this study, this program was carried out one time a week for 10 weeks from Sept 11, 2006 to Oct 13, 2006. Each test lasted for $40{\sim}60$ minutes. To find out changes in the school adjustment of the subject child, the progress in change before and after tests was comparatively analyzed through a Likert-type three-step evaluation scale and presented as tables and graphs regarding the target behavior table. And the school adjustability was calculated in terms of percentage and presented as tables and bar graphs through a Likert-type four-step evaluation scale. Change in the subject Ha-nul's behavior, which was shown in test scenes, was observed and recorded and then Qualitatively analyzed. The following conclusions were drawn from the results of this study: First, the Peer relationship improvement program was effective in the positive influence to the relationship between a teacher in charge and Ha-nul with the school maladjustment This program made a confidence and increased the ability to express one's own ideas and feelings to others. Second, the Peer relationship improvement program was effective in the positive influence to the relationship between schoolfellows and Ha-nul with the school maladjustment This program provided the opportunities to get along with peers naturally and the abilities of a mutual understanding. Third, the Peer relationship improvement program was effective in the partially positive influence to Ha-nul with the school maladjustment. Fourth, the Peer relationship improvement program was effective in the positive influence to follow the school rules by experiencing a role, concession and fairness through the various activities. Fifth, the Peer relationship improvement program was effective in the positive influence to take part in the school event with a self-confidence and cooperation with peers through the various activities.
The purpose of this paper is firstly to research the Capstone Design Learning Model which helps the students to acquire practical industrial skills and knowledge in real business fields, and secondly to analyze the qualitative effectiveness of this model in respect of knowledge, skill and attitude which NCS(National Competence Standards) suggest in industrial design field. In order to study, the second-year students taking the class 'Communication and Design Project(CDP)' of Industrial Design Major of DIT, took part in the Capstone Design Project and proceeded a project 'Character design of the entertainer Robert Holley' in cooperation with a relevant company and the professor in charge of this project. Through this research, it appeared that Capstone design related to visual design tasks improved the technical skills and competence of the students majoring in design. In other words, through analyzing questionnaire survey based on NCS, evaluation from relevant company, and awarding a prize of the design contest, we conclude that this instruction design and action plans have significant meanings to promote the students on-the-job competence.

Since the launch of WTO. the global telecommunications market has been accelerated to ensure interoperability between the various telecommunications or services and this effort is emerging as the realization of an importance of standardization. In addition, in recent years as standardization is recognized not as just a means of ensuring interoperability but as a key strategic means of economic survival in the new trade order at the international regional, and national levels. Thus, each country is working actively to process telecommunications standardization through such means as multilateral cooperation and collective counter-strategies, which are mapped out, in the various regional and global fora and consortia. In keeping with these trends, Asia-Pacific Telecommunity, which is taking charge of telecommunications affairs of Asia-Pacific region, has been pursuing not only regional common interests but enhancement of its status in the world market by standardization on the basis of intimate collaboration, obtained by establishing regional standardization organization named ASTAP(APT Standardization Program). Bearing in mind the consideration outlined above, this paper aims to analyze telecommunications standardization policy intended by Asia-Pacific regional standardization organization and accordingly, to suggest a strategy for strengthening telecommunications standardization activities in Asia-Pacific region.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of experts in childhood education field on what is the primary core competency of the beginning childhood teachers to cope with the future society. For this, the survey was conducted for 252 of teachers in charge, assistant directors, and directors who are currently working at the daycare centers and kindergartens in Busan and Gyeongsangnamdo. In order to derive the requirement and priority on the core competencies required to beginning childhood teachers, 3-step analysis method of paired t-Test, Borich Needs Model Analysis, and the Locus for Focus was used. As a result, seven sub-competencies of five competencies of cooperation, communication, self-improvement and development, vocational ethics, and emotional intelligence was identified as the core competencies required by priority to the beginning childhood teachers in order to cope with the future society. These results may provide the basic data for designing the competence and field-based curriculum in the teachers' training schools for pre-service childhood teachers.
This is a case study on how infants' behaviors change after their child care teachers use Responsive Interactions to them. The participants are five infants and five child care teachers from five employer-supported child care centers run and managed by H foundation. This study analyzes the changes in infants' pivotal developmental behaviors based on interactions between an infant and a child care teacher in video recordings, anecdotal records, Reflective Journal written by the teachers, and data on in-depth interviews with the child care teachers. The results show that Responsive Interactions have brought positive changes to infants' pivotal developmental behaviors(Attention to Activity, Problem Solving Persistence, Involvement, Cooperation, Initiation, Joint Attention and Affect). It suggests that child care teachers who are in charge of taking care of infants should realize and practice the importance of Responsive Interaction Strategy in order to help the infants develop their pivotal behaviors.
The purpose of this study was to reduce safety accidents among food employees in contracted foodservice management companies, and to help provide high-quality foodservice and assistance. For this, a survey on the different opinions of workplace safety and education by employment type and employee perceptions of environment and safety at foodservice operations was carried out. The analysis showed that among the workers many women were irregular employees. For average age, between 40 and 49 was the most frequent, and for work duration, under one year was highest. Both regular employees and irregular employees deemed "enough staff" as the most major factor for good foodservice. The regular employees and irregular employees thought "high indoor temperatures and poor ventilation in the kitchen area" and "bad work cooperation between employees" as the main problems of foodservice operations, respectively. For satisfaction with the efficiency of foodservice production system, irregular employees had higher satisfaction than regular employees. Both regular employees and irregular employees thought "the number of foodservice employees" as the foremost improvement for safety-accident prevention and work-stress improvements. Regular employees, more than irregular employees, thought improvements in foodservice production systems would have a large affect on safety-accident prevention and work-stress improvements of food workers. Both regular employees and irregular employees thought "foodservice employees' safety consciousness" was an important part of safety-accident prevention. Likewise, they responded that "lectures by the person in charge of safety education" was a good methods of safety education, and "once a month" was the best period for safety education. For the difference in perceptions of environment and safety in foodservice systems, regular employees had a higher perception of safety than irregular employees.

As Internet and World Wide Web become more popular in our society, the interests in effective application to the field of rural development and agricultural extension service are increasing. The potential in Web-based agricultural extension service is expressed in many areas, such as agriculture information, Web-based training and education, and virtual rural community for rural development and agricultural extension service. The research on the Web and its related issues has been conducted in many ways, but the interests in the competencies and skills of staff who are in charge of Web developing and managing have not been exposed yet. The purpose of this study was to investigate the important competencies and skills for Web developing and managing for enhancing the effectiveness of rural development and agricultural extension service. Twelve extension service staff and on staff in the extension service support center were interviewed. The results of study showed that there were eight essential competencies; competencies to understand rural community and agricultural extension service, to understand the farmers as Web users, to design and develop effective Web sites, to understand the nature of hypertext, to utilize instruction theories, to absorb new technology, to manage projects, and to utilize external sources. The results of study also showed that there was lack of support systems for Web development and information. Overall, the findings of this study suggest that establishing long-term education and training system for technology, electronic performance support systems, and cooperation with universities and colleges for technology are of particular importance for promoting Web-based extension services.
The present study was performed to evaluate the job training needs of school nutrition teachers in order to enhance their specialty. Three hundred and forty questionnaires were distributed to school nutrition teachers working at primary and high schools in the Gyeongbuk area while 45 were distributed to professors during 2010~2011. Three hundred and two questionnaires from school nutrition teachers and 33 from professors were returned and analyzed. The rate of teachers practicing nutrition education was 54%, and the educational content was obtained mainly from the internet. The top three problems the teachers encountered were 'lack of standardized educational materials', 'inexperience of teaching', and 'insufficiency of expert knowledge'. The teachers recognized 'training program' as the best solution. However, the job training program operated immediately after teachers were appointed scored only 3.03 out of 5.00. Important contents of the training program ranked highly by the teachers were 'development of education materials', 'nutrition counseling', and 'teaching method'. The professors included 'expert knowledge' in their top three contents. Both the teachers and professors agreed to increase the frequency of 'practice' in training methods. Other factors the teachers considered to be important were high quality, diversity, ability of the instructor, training cycle, and the institution in charge. From these results, it can be concluded that efficient job training programs are needed for school nutrition teachers according to the importance of the education contents and training methods. It is therefore suggested that a cooperation committee be composed of an educator, educatee, and related personal in a local education office in order to operate the program.

In spite of the importance of a fishing industry, neither any terminology defined in details nor academic systems to educate the workers in the fishery were established in the fisheries social education. The fisheries social education was considered to be the practical area around the actual fields. Therefore, on-site education was very important. Accordingly, this study collected and analyzed theoretical basis of a social education and data on the rural adult education and examined the actual status of the fishing industry in Korea and fisheries extension services enterprise and fisheries developmental enterprise corresponding to the actual fisheries social education conducted in Korea. On the basis of these frames, this study summarized the direction for the progress of fisheries social education that has not been studied until now for the purpose of suggesting the future directions of the fisheries social education as follows; The recognition on the importance of fisheries social education and fundamental researches in the fisheries social education should be extended. The practical development of fisheries social education should be realized. Fisheries extension services enterprise should be evolved by fishermen. The abilities of instructors in the fisheries social education should be improved. The academic factors in the fisheries social education should be emphasized. Inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary approaches should be adopted. Various programs should be developed for the progress of the fisheries social education. The exclusive department in charge of the fisheries social education should be established. The information system for the fisheries social education should be secured. The industry, academic organizations and the organs should make cooperation. The fisheries social education should be provided by general social education institutions for the progress. The fisheries development should be deployed on the basis of environmental preservation. It is necessary to deploy the new fishing village movement like the Saemaul movement to the fisheries. The administrative and financial supports for the fisheries social education should be expanded. It is essential to cultivate the future fishermen for the international competitiveness.
The purpose of this study is to examine university graphic design curricula to cultivate creative specialized manpower equipped with practical skills. To attain the goal, this author investigated the curricula of four-year, three-year, and two-year universities located in the capital area including Seoul and interviewed those working in 10 specialized design companies located in Seoul and Incheon. According to the findings of analyzing the curricula, four-year, three-year, and two-year universities all emphasize practices based on projects and inquiries more rather than the mastery of basic design. Among the areas, publication graphic designs are emphasized the most, and the next are visual multimedia designs. However, advertising marketing designs are not or hardly emphasized in the curricula. But specialized university education demanded by those specialized design companies is the education emphasizing the mastery of basic design more rather than practices based on projects and inquiries. Concerning the cultivation of specialized graphic designers having central roles as the pillars of knowledge industry or creative industry demanded in this age, it is needed to have a new perspective to reorganize specialized education grounded on close cooperation and favorable relationship between universities in charge of specialized education and those specialized companies.
