The purpose of this study was to delve into the features of paradigm in conjunction with changing convergence culture in the 21st century's knowledge-based society, the influence of convergence paradigm on fashion, and changes in convergence culture. After identifying the features of the paradigm of knowledge-based society in association with changing convergence culture, the characteristics of fashion paradigm were examined in con=junction with the characteristics of the paradigm, and the convergence phenomena of modern fashion were investigated to figure out fashion trends. The findings of the study were as follows: According to the features of ubiquitous technology based on the theories of Mark Weiser and other futurologists, the characteristics of changing convergence culture in knowledge-based society could be classified into invisibility, relationship and materialized virtuality. When relevant theories were reviewed, invisibility, relationship and materialized virtuality are identified as the unique features of the paradigm of changing convergence culture in knowledge-based society. But those characteristics aren't separate concepts. Instead, they are being connected and fused together, thanks to universalized digital technology and ubiquitous technology. Changing convergence culture has brought a change to fashion paradigm as well. There is a type of design that lets all the characteristics stand out, and another design fuses just some of them together conceptually or formally. That is, fashion paradigm is marked by a combination of invisibility, relationship and an embodiment of virtual reality to be in line with changes in convergence culture.

We derived Stop-and-go normalized DD, dual-mode normalized Sato, dual-mode NCMA blind equalization algorithm for complex data in this research. And then, the convergence characteristics of the proposed SG-NDD, dual-mode NSato blind equalization algorithms are compared with those of SG-DD, dual-mode Sato algorithms. In general, the normalized blind equalization algorithms have better convergence characteristics than the conventional algorithms.

The convergence characteristics of preconditioned Euler equations were studied. A perturbation analysis was conducted to understand the behavior of the preconditioned Euler equations. Various speed flows in a two-dimensional channel with a 10％ circular arc in the middle of the channel were calculated. Roe's FDS scheme was used for spatial discretization and the LU-SGS scheme was used for time integration. It is shown that the convergence characteristics of pressure and velocity were maintained regardless of the Mach numbers but that the convergence characteristics of temperature were strongly related to the Mach number and became worse as the Mach number decreased. The perturbation analysis well explained the trend of the convergence characteristics and showed that the convergence characteristics are strongly related with the behavior o( the Preconditioning matrix.

In this paper, we propose useful load flow algorithms called FEDL (fast enhanced decoupled load flow). The proposed load flow method can improve the convergence characteristics particularly when the P-Q coupling becomes significant and the power system operating states deviate from the conditions required for stable convergence of the FDL by reflecting in part the effects of the off-diagonal terms in the Jacobian. In our test with IEEE AEP-30 bus system and RTS-96 73-bus system, it converge even when the fast decoupled load flow (FDL) and its variations keeping load flow matrices constant experience convergence problems. Test results show promising performances of the proposed algorithms in their convergence characteristics both in number of iterations and overall convergence speeds.

There is a growing interest in convergence. National R & D is also providing various policies and institutional support to promote convergence research. Convergence research, however, does not clearly specify its characteristics at the academic and government levels. This research proceeds with the process of collecting, refining, analyzing, modeling, verifying and visualizing national R & D data through the National Science and Technology Information Service (NTIS). The method is to derive the convergence research characteristics and to derive through text mining, focusing on the unstructured information of national R & D project data. The study confirmed that there was a difference in perception between the definition of converged research and the research site. In order to improve this, the research suggested that convergence among research subjects, collaboration among research topics reflecting various backgrounds and characteristics of researchers, and analysis of characteristics of convergence research using information were suggested in the process of establishing convergence policy.

As sustainability of fashion brands is becoming more important in the prolonged depression, the fashion market is also seeking ways to create new value through convergence with various fields. In the fashion market, convergence marketing is engaged with diverse technologies combined with advanced technologies and strategies. This study established the conceptual characteristics of convergence and divergence from a market perspective. Convergence can be summarized as Borderless, Compounding, Diversification, Recombination and Affiliation. The conceptual characteristics of the divergence can be summarized as de-fusion, individualization, differentiation, specialization, and segmentation. The characteristics of convergence revealed through the case of fashion market include the expandability of the new category, the expandability of the consumer, the brand experience, and the expandability of time and space. Divergence is the differentiation of brand value, target customer, and product nature. Through this study, we could understand the differentiation of the fashion market and the direction of the marketing strategy by looking at the characteristic of the convergence marketing - oriented research that has the contrary conceptual characteristics from the extended viewpoint. Based on this, it is possible to see the changes and patterns of brand marketing strategies and techniques in recent fashion market. In the future, it is expected that the systematic study of the marketing strategy of the domestic fashion brand based on the convergence and change characteristics of the fashion market proposed in this study will continue.

This paper presents two flexible alternatives to the decoupled load flow(DCL) method. The proposed load flow methods can improve the convergence profiles of the DCL by reflecting in part the effects of the off-diagonal terms in the Jacobian at minimal costs. They can improve the convergence characteristics especially when the power system operating states deviate from the conditions required for stable convergence of the DCL and the P-Q coupling becomes significant. Two algorithms are obtained from the expression of the full Newton-Raphson load flow (NRL) method by successively diminishing the effects of the off-diagonal submatrices in the Jacobian. In the process of simplification, the Neuman series expansion is utilized. Test results show promising performances of the proposed algorithms in their convergence characteristics both in number of iterations and overall convergence speeds. Proposed algorithms are expected to provide flexible alternatives to the NRL when the DCL experiences convergence problems.

The economic growth that depended on IT industry is reaching to a limit. In order to overcome the limit, the convergence industry that makes new market and products is essential. However, companies preparing a jump into the convergence industry must understand the exact visions and characteristics of convergence. Therefore, we investigated the structural changes of industries caused by convergence and importance characteristics of convergence. Also, we demonstrated the current status of the convergence industry and analyzed economical, social/cultural, and technological environments that the companies are facing, and elaborated the opportunities of convergence. At last, we suggested basic requirements and strategies for companies starting a convergence business and IT utilization methods to accelerate the convergence business activation.

The IT convergence industry is expected to create some high added-value, yet the IT convergence service is still in its introductory stage, which requires the utilization of yet to be tried future technologies and development methodologies that have been never tried in the past; therefore, there is certain risk involved regarding the success of development during the introduction of service and the development of technology. From such perspective, this study found examples of the services in the IT convergence industries and the application technologies for the realization of those services; and conducted a research based on the examples, using the technical Characteristics classification; and based on the result, analyzed the standards and the peculiarity of technologies employed for the IT convergence service and the correlation and the complementarity between them; also identified the standards and the peculiarity of technologies required by the IT convergence services and analyzed the correlation between them; and finally analyzed the compatibility between the IT convergence services and the applied technologies. The conclusion of this study is expected to be utilized for selecting technologies for the introduction and the operation of the optimal IT convergence service and as a benchmark as well.

The convergence of technology as a major breakthrough in technology innovation has been generated and developed. With the advent of the 21st century characterized by the knowledge-based economy, it is happening even more frequently and vigorously than ever. However, study on classification system or definition of notions is necessary as the convergence of technology is still in the early stage. The existing classification system has limited application to the convergence of technology. With no standard available for the classification of the technology convergence, there has been much concern for duplicative R&D investment. On this ground, a new and reformed classification system for the convergence of technology and definition of notions are needed. Previous studies regard base technologies used in the technology convergence and new convergence technologies as important. However, this paper views convergence of technology as a dynamic phenomenon and puts an emphasis on the cause of technology convergence, not on the new technology itself and examines whether base technologies go back to their original state after the completion of technology convergence. This kind of approach will classify technology convergence by characteristics. Although more researches including quantitative analysis are necessary, this paper expects to offer help with further researches on classification system.
