To carry out an achieved design by the emotivity, it must follow the recognition of the original function which comes from the emotivity design method, and it should be applied to the design process fitting into the purpose of the space. The value of the sufficient interior by the emotivity is depended on what kind of image it gives, and how much of the satisfaction it can give to the customers. And fur more, it should not be partially lean to any of the decoration and the function of the object. That is, how faithfully it was to the use and the purpose of the interior and the emotion related to all parts which are the functional side and the decorative side mainly considered in the external form is designed by the essential part of the design.

Self-administered questionnaires were provided to 1000 university students from Gwangju and the Chonnam area from 2007 October 8th to 30th. The collected data was used to conduct comparative and descriptive statistical analysis: factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-test, $x^2-test$ and one-way ANOVA. The main findings are as follows: Firstly, in relation to perceived house values, students identified three factors as important: pursuit of convenience, disposition toward individuality-orientation and consciousness of others. The respondents regarded convenience as very important, especially in regard to one's safety, health and location of amenities. Secondly, cluster analysis based on perceived house value revealed passive and energetic types. Students in the energetic type exhibited a tendency to prefer convenience, independence, and consciousness of others. Finally in terms of housing satisfaction, the respondents identified four factors as important: house quality, neighborhood environment, local socio-psychological environment, and location. Housing satisfaction was higher among students who lived in large or new houses, shared the same house with their family, and had a room all to themselves. Accoding to these findings, university students important value safety, health and environmental-friendliness in a house and they find location important. Therefore, future houses should reflect these wants.

The subjects were male and female consumers who aged over twenty and resided in Seoul, Kungki or Masan area. A questionnaire was developed by the researchers, and distributed to 770 people. A sample of 747 consumers responded to the questionnaire, and 732 questionnaires were used for analysis. Frequency count and percentage, factor analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's test were used for statistical analysis. Consumer shopping orientations were classified into 4 factors: pleasure, economy/value, and convenience I & II. Among groups of heavy shoppers, light shoppers, and non-shoppers, there were significant differences in their shopping orientations. Also, within groups, there were significant differences among their shopping orientation factors. All three groups had significantly stronger orientation toward convenience I than pleasure and convenience II. Also, within other purchase groups (fashion-good purchasers, other-good purchasers, and non-purchasers) showed the same shopping orientations as the former groups. On the basis of the above results, this study is expected to be useful for catalog retailers to develope effective marketing strategies and provide their customers new buying motives.

  • Purpose - Sharing economy is a promising research topic as a complementary approach for solving difficult issues resulting from market economy. Motive factors for consumer participation in sharing economy are necessary to facilitate the growth of sharing economy. This study analyzes motives for participating in sharing economy using samples from a car sharing service in South Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - Four hypotheses drawn from a new research model integrating the relationships between economic and social value, social value, and the intention to use sharing economy services were proposed. 292 valid samples were collected from Socar users in South Korea. Multiple regression analysis was employed to test the hypotheses. Results - An empirical study identified the importance of convenience and time savings as determinants of intention to use continuously a car sharing service. Cost savings and social value did not significantly influence the intention to use car sharing service. Conclusions - The present study implies that managers working in sharing economy don't have to miss a role of convenience. Although a new finding implies that convenience is an important factor influencing car sharing service, the present study has a limitation of generality that samples are mostly collected from the age range of 20 to 30 years.

  • The study examines the impact of financial risk, convenience risk, non-delivery risk; return policy risk and product risk on online consumer behavior of Malaysian consumers. The research employed a self-administered survey to collect empirical data from 245 Malaysian online shoppers by using convenience sampling. Cronbach alpha was calculated to confirm the reliability of the data and then normality was assessed. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was then conducted to test the model using the goodness-of-fit tests. And finally, structural equation modeling is used to test the hypotheses and draw conclusions. IBM SPSS AMOS version 22.0 was utilized for data analysis. The research indicates that product risk, convenience risk, and return policy risk have a significant and positive impact on online shopping behavior. Financial risk is found to have insignificant and negative effects on consumer behavior. In addition, the non-delivery risk is found to have a significant and negative impact on online shopping behavior. The findings provide a useful model for measuring and managing perceived risk in online shopping which may result in an increase in participation of Malaysian consumers and reduce their cognitive deficiencies in the e-commerce environment. Several managerial implications are discussed along with the scope for future research.
