퍼지학습법을 이용한 크레인 시스템의 다변수 제어 (Control for Multi-variable in Crane System using Fuzzy Learning Method)

  • n active control for the swing of crane systems is very important for increasing the productivity. This article introduces the control for the position and the swing of a crane using the fuzzy learning method. Because the crane is a multi-variable system, learning is done to control both position and swing of the crane. Also the fuzzy control rules are separately acquired with the loading and unloading situation of the crane for more accurate control. The result of simulations shows that the crane is just controlled for a very large swing angle of 1 radian within nearly one cycle.

  • An active control for the swing of crane systems is very important for increasing the productivity. And We designed controller by fuzzy learning method, and then compare fuzzy learning method with LQR. The result of simulations shows that the crane is controlled better than LQR for a very large swing angle of 1 radian within nearly one cycle.

An adaptive delay compensation method based on a discrete system model for real-time hybrid simulation

  • The identification of delays and delay compensation are critical problems in real-time hybrid simulations (RTHS). Conventional delay compensation methods are mostly based on the assumption of a constant delay. However, the system delay may vary during tests owing to the nonlinearity of the loading system and/or the behavioral variations of the specimen. To address this issue, this study presents an adaptive delay compensation method based on a discrete model of the loading system. In particular, the parameters of this discrete model are identified and updated online with the least-squares method to represent a servo hydraulic loading system. Furthermore, based on this model, the system delays are compensated for by generating system commands using the desired displacements, achieved displacements, and previous displacement commands. This method is more general than the existing compensation methods because it can predict commands based on multiple displacement categories. Moreover, this method is straightforward and suitable for implementation on digital signal processing boards because it relies solely on the displacements rather than on velocity and/or acceleration data. The virtual and real RTHS results show that the studied method exhibits satisfactory estimation smoothness and compensation accuracy. Furthermore, considering the measurement noise, the low-order parameter models of this method are more favorable than that the high-order parameter models.

아파트에서의 전기자동차 충전인프라 설계를 위한 요소 고찰 (Review of Design Components of Recharging Infrastructure for Electrical Vehicles in Apartments)

  • Electric vehicles (EVs) are the most promising alternative substitute to a significant amount of gasoline vehicles for climate friendly transportation. This paper conducted an EV consumer survey through the telephone for 200 residents living in apartments to predict the EV penetration level in the year 2020. The results of EV consumer survey revealed that EV will be penetrated to 10% of the total vehicles in rental apartments and to 23.6% of the total vehicles in apartments for sale(condominium) until 2020. High EV penetration level, however, will lead to an increase of power consumption and over loading of electrical installations. Integrating more electric vehicles, the capacity of transformer related in apartments should be checked to prevent the over loading of the transformer. This paper checked the possibility of over loading at transformer and suggested the load control system as one of the solutions to reduce the over loading of transformers in apartments. Also this paper reviewed other components that should be checked in the designing of EV recharging infrastructure in apartments.

  • Prediction of the performance of a carbon canister in vehicle evaporative emission control system has become an important aspect of overall fuel system development and design. A vehicle's evaporative emission control system is continuously working, even when the vehicle is not running, due to generation of vapors from the fuel tank during ambient temperature variations. Evaporative emissions from gasoline powered vehicles continue to be a major concern. The objective of this paper is to clarity the flow characteristics and other such fundamental data for the canister during loading and purging are needed, and this data will prove valuable in the development of the canister. This paper is to evaluate the relationship between carbon canister condition and engine performance during engine operation, and the effects of evaporative emissions on the engine performance were investigated.

공작물 적재를 위한 자동정렬 및 적재장치의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of an Automatic Alignment and Loading System for Workpieces)

  • This paper describes the design and fabrication of an automatic alignment and loading system for workpieces. To move a workpiece to a chucking position of a machine tool using a gantry robot, an automatic aligning device is required to load the workpiece before machining and automatically align them. The automatic alignment system was conceptually designed, and the structural analysis was performed for the main parts such as the top plate, center support, front and back support, and support shaft. Based on the structural analysis results, the size of these structures was determined. The automatic alignment system was manufactured, and the vertical movement characteristics of the workpiece up-and-down movement device and the rotation characteristics of the workpiece rotation device were experimentally examined. The result has confirmed that they operate normally.

The Evaluation of Medium Voltage Motor's Current and Voltage Harmonics during Loading

  • This paper presents the results of investigating harmonic levels on medium voltage motors at loading conditions in air separation plant. The essential results of the measurements of the medium voltage motor harmonics are summarized in the values for the total harmonic distortion (THD). Motors loading case is used to assess the current and voltage harmonic distortions. Proper system analysis is important when adding a new motor starting and controlling the equipment. With the result of the paper it is possible to suggest the most appropriate starting and control method. Two medium voltage motors of air separation unit measurement results and simulations are summarized. Both current and voltage harmonic distortions are fitted by using a linear and exponential regression model. The prediction of THD values can be used for this kind of process for future planning by utilities.

  • A 5-bar structure with redundant actuators is proposed as a finger mechanism. It is shown that one additional redundant actuator greatly enhances the load handling capacity of the system. The actuator location should be carefully decided to maximize the performance enhancement. Furthermore, we develop stiffness and frequency control algorithms based on the internal loading created by redundant actuation. The effectiveness of these algorithms have been demonstrated by simulations.

  • Communication based train control system is applied regularly worldwide. And this system may be used in domestic soon. Communication based train control system does not depend on conventional track circuit. Therefore, position and distance control of train to prevent collision with loading train may become important safety factor. This paper developed collision avoidance algorithm to control trains of several units efficiently for this. In developing a collision avoidance algorithm, it is desirable to avoid the need for additional system. Additional system restricts the development of the algorithm by limiting the effectiveness of the algorithm to only those areas where the additional system can be afforded and has been installed.
