  • Robustness of adaptive pole-placement control against unmodeled dynamics is proved. This proof is done by showing that the sufficient condition for robustness, conic condition and stability of a specific operator, is satisfied for a larger set of unmodeled dynamics. The simulation results show the proposed method is quite powerful. And the difference between the concept of the pseudoplant control and the known internal model control is shown by the closed loop analysis.

  • This paper presents matrix inequality conditions for H$_2$optimal control of linear time-invariant descriptor systems in continuous and discrete time cases, respectively. First, the necessary and sufficient condition for H$_2$control and H$_2$controller design method are expressed in terms of LMls(linear matrix inequalities) with no equality constraints in continuous time case. Next, the sufficient condition for H$_2$control and H$_2$controller design method are proposed by matrix inequality approach in discrete time case. A numerical example is given in each case.

  • Time Delay Control(TDC) is a robust nonlinear control scheme using Time Delay Estimation(TDE) and also has a simple structure. To apply TDC to a real system, we must design Time Delay Controller to guarantee stability. The earlier research stated sufficient stability condition of TDC for general plants. In that research, it was assumed that time delay is infinitely small. But, it is impossible to implement infinitely small time delay in a real system. So, in this research we propose a new sufficient stability condition of TDC for general plants with finite time delay. And the simulation results indicate that the previous sufficient stability condition does not work even for small time delay, while our proposed condition works well.

  • In this paper, systems described by state-space models are considered. For these systems, author studies the decoupling of linear systems and gives a sufficient condition for a system to be made feedback decouplable. Especially, the condition is given by LMI(Linear Matrix Inequality) form. Based on this condition, it is guaranteed that the system decoupling problem is achieved and the $H_{\infty}$ constraint is satisfied simultaneously. This result can be easily extended to the robust decoupling control system design problems.

  • This paper provides an observer-based $H_{\infty}$ controller design method for singular systems with and without time-varying delay by just one LMI condition. The sufficient condition for the existence of controller and the controller design method are presented by perfect LMI (linear matrix inequality) approach. The design procedure involves solving an LMI. The observer-based $H_{\infty}$ controller in the existing results can be constructed from the coupled two or more conditions while the proposed controller design method can be obtained from an LMI condition, which can be solved efficiently by convex optimization. Since the obtained condition can be expressed as an LMI form, all variables including feedback gain and observer gain can be calculated simultaneously by Schur complement and changes of variables. An example is given to illustrate the results.

Effects of Group Exercise Program on the Health Condition and Quality of Life in Adults with Cerebral Palsy

  • This study examined the effects of group exercise program on health conditions and quality of life in cerebral palsy. Adults with cerebral palsy in their 20's who participated in the evaluation of measurement tools prior to and following the experiment. The control group was engaged in manual exercise for the range of joint movement and extension exercise for arms, legs and trunk, and experimental group performed group exercise program including boccia exercise. The health condition and quality of life of the experimental group were significantly increased after intervention (.05<). There was a slight increase in the control group, however it was not statistically significant. As a result of comparing the health condition and quality of life of the two groups, the value of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The results of this study suggest that exercise programs for patients with cerebral palsy in the twenties are considered as beneficial interventions to improve health conditions and quality of life.

Feedback-Based Iterative Learning Control for MIMO LTI Systems

  • This paper proposes a necessary and sufficient condition of convergence in the $L_2$-norm sense for a feedback-based iterative learning control (ILC) system including a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) linear time-invariant (LTI) plant. It is shown that the convergence conditions for a nominal plant and an uncertain plant are equal to the nominal performance condition and the robust performance condition in the feedback control theory, respectively. Moreover, no additional effort is required to design an iterative learning controller because the performance weighting matrix is used as an iterative learning controller. By proving that the least upper bound of the $L_2$-norm of the remaining tracking error is less than that of the initial tracking error, this paper shows that the iterative learning controller combined with the feedback controller is more effective to reduce the tracking error than only the feedback controller. The validity of the proposed method is verified through computer simulations.

청각 환경이 교사의 음성 파라미터에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Auditory Condition on Voice Parameter of Teacher)

  • 본 연구는 교사와 일반인을 대상으로 그들의 음성과 청각 조건 ( 소음, 음악 )에서의 음성 파라미터들을 비교 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 교사는 일반인의 음성 보다 높은 주파수 변동률(%)과 진폭 변동률(%)을 보여 정상 음성에 비해 높이와 강도에 변화가 큰 것을 알 수 있었다. 청각 조건에 따른 결과를 살펴보면, 교사의 음성 파라미터는 청각 조건이 주어지지 않은 일반 음성에 비해 소음 환경에서 높은 기본 주파수 (Hz)를 나타내었고 소음과 음악 환경간에는 그 차이를 발견할 수 없었다. 일반인의 음성 파라미터 청각 조건이 주어지지 않은 일반 음성에 비해 소음 환경에서 높은 기본 주파수를 나타내었으며 음악과 소음 환경간에도 기본 주파수의 차이를 나타내었다.

  • This note investigates the convergence condition of ADILC (iterative learning control with advanced output data) for nonminimum phase systems. ADILC has simple learning structure including both minimum phase and nonminimum phase systems. However, for nonminimum phase systems, the overall time horizon must be considered in input update law. This makes the dimension of convergence condition matrix large. In this paper, a new sufficient condition is proposed to satisfy the convergence condition. Also, it has been shown that this sufficient condition can be satisfied although it is not full impulse response.

광독립영양 기내 미세증식 시스템에서 생육단계별 환경조절을 통한 감자의 기내 및 기외 생육과 에너지 효율 향상 (Improvement of Growth of Potato (Solanum tuberosum L. cv. Dejima) Plants at In Vitro and Ex Vitro and Energy Efficiency by Environmental Control with Growth Stage in Photoautotrophic Micropropagation System)

  • 이전 실험에서 결정된 생육 단계별 최적 환경조건을 평가하기 위한 4가지 처리는 다음과 같았다: 생육 단계별 최적 환경 조건을 사용한 광독립 영양배양(photoautotrophic optimum condition with growth stage (POG)), 생육 단계별 평균 광합성 광량자속 밀도(photosynthetic photon flux density(PPFD))와 $CO_2$ 농도를 사용한 광독립 영양배양(photoautotrophic constant condition with average PPFD and $CO_2$ of POG(PCA)), 생육 단계별 최대 PPFD와 $CO_2$농도를 사용한 광독립 영양배양(photoautotrophic constant condition with maximum PPFD and $CO_2$ of POG(PCM)) 그리고 대조군으로 3%의 당을 포함한 광혼합 영양배양(photomixotrophic conventional condition with 3% sucrose(PMC)). 실험 결과 각 생육 단계별 환경제어(POG)는 기내에서 배양된 감자 소식물체의 모든 생육 관련 항목에서 유의적 증진을 유도하였다. 또한 단위 건물중 당 소비된 전력과 $CO_2$는 모든 처리 중 POG에서 가장 낮았다. 기외 이식 이후에도 POG에서 생산된 감자 묘는 PMC에서 자란 감자 묘와 전체적으로 큰 차이 없이 왕성한 생육을 유지하였다. 특히 POC는 기존 광혼합 영양방식(PCM)과 비교했을 때 기외 이식전과 이식 후 20일째 각각 4.7배와 3.8배 높은 건물중을 기록하였다. 따라서 POG와 같은 생육 단계별 환경 조절을 통한 광독립 영양 미세 증식 방법은 에너지 절감 효과와 함께 무균의 건강한 감자 묘의 생산에 효과적이었다.
