  • The Internet of Things(IoT) paradigm is flourishing strenuously for the last two decades. Researchers around the globe have their dreams to transmute every real-world object to the virtual object. Consequently, IoT devices are escalating exponentially. The abrupt evolution of these IoT devices has caused a major challenge i.e. object classification. In order to classify devices comprehensively and accurately, this paper proposes a context-aware based multi-classification model for devices, which classifies the smart devices according to people's contexts. However, the classification features of contextual data of different contexts are difficult to extract. The deep learning algorithm has the capability to solve this problem. This paper proposes a context-aware based multi-classification model of devices, which classifies the smart devices according to people's contexts.

  • As a fine-grained classification problem, aspect-level sentiment classification predicts the sentiment polarity for different aspects in context. To address this issue, researchers have widely used attention mechanisms to abstract the relationship between context and aspects. Still, it is difficult to effectively obtain a more profound semantic representation, and the strong correlation between local context features and the aspect-based sentiment is rarely considered. In this paper, a hybrid attention capsule network for aspect-level sentiment classification (ABASCap) was proposed. In this model, the multi-head self-attention was improved, and a context mask mechanism based on adjustable context window was proposed, so as to effectively obtain the internal association between aspects and context. Moreover, the dynamic routing algorithm and activation function in capsule network were optimized to meet the task requirements. Finally, sufficient experiments were conducted on three benchmark datasets in different domains. Compared with other baseline models, ABASCap achieved better classification results, and outperformed the state-of-the-art methods in this task after incorporating pre-training BERT.

  • Recommendation systems provide users with proper services using context information being input from many sensors occasionally under ubiquitous computing environment. But in case there isn't sufficient context information for service recommendation in spite of much context information, there can be problems of resulting in inexact result. In addition, in the quantification step to use context information, there are problems of classifying context information inexactly because of using an absolute classification course. In this paper, we solved the problem of lack of necessary context information for service recommendation by using dynamic profile information. We also improved the problem of absolute classification by using a relative classification of context information in quantification step. As the result of experiments, expectation preference degree was improved by 7.5% as compared with collaborative filtering methods using an absolute quantification method where context information of P2P mobile agent is used.

  • Purpose : This paper introduces a computationally inexpensive context-dependent classification of multi-echo MRI with Bayes compound decision model. In order to produce accurate region segmentation especially in homogeneous area and along boundaries of the regions, we propose a classification method that uses contextual information of local enighborhood system in the image. Material and Methods : The performance of the context free classifier over a statistically heterogeneous image can be improved if the local stationary regions in the image are disassociated from each other through the mechanism of the interaction parameters defined at he local neighborhood level. In order to improve the classification accuracy, we use the contextual information which resolves ambiguities in the class assignment of a pattern based on the labels of the neighboring patterns in classifying the image. Since the data immediately surrounding a given pixel is intimately associated with this given pixel., then if the true nature of the surrounding pixel is known this can be used to extract the true nature of the given pixel. The proposed context-dependent compound decision model uses the compound Bayes decision rule with the contextual information. As for the contextual information in the model, the directional transition probabilities estimated from the local neighborhood system are used for the interaction parameters. Results : The context-dependent classification paradigm with compound Bayesian model for multi-echo MR images is developed. Compared to context free classification which does not consider contextual information, context-dependent classifier show improved classification results especially in homogeneous and along boundaries of regions since contextual information is used during the classification. Conclusion : We introduce a new paradigm to classify multi-echo MRI using clustering analysis and Bayesian compound decision model to improve the classification results.

  • In complicated environment, context information plays an important role in image segmentation/labeling. The recently proposed auto-context algorithm is one of the effective context-based methods. However, the standard auto-context approach samples the context locations utilizing a fixed radius sequence, which is sensitive to large scale-change of objects. In this paper, we present a scale invariant auto-context (SIAC) algorithm which is an improved version of the auto-context algorithm. In order to achieve scale-invariance, we try to approximate the optimal scale for the image in an iterative way and adopt the corresponding optimal radius sequence for context location sampling, both in training and testing. In each iteration of the proposed SIAC algorithm, we use the current classification map to estimate the image scale, and the corresponding radius sequence is then used for choosing context locations. The algorithm iteratively updates the classification maps, as well as the image scales, until convergence. We demonstrate the SIAC algorithm on several image segmentation/labeling tasks. The results demonstrate improvement over the standard auto-context algorithm when large scale-change of objects exists.

  • Multi-criteria ABC inventory classification is one of the most widely employed techniques for efficient inventory control, and it considers more than one criterion for categorizing inventory items into groups of different importance. Recently, Ramanathan (2006) proposed a weighted linear optimization (WLO) model for the problem of multi-criteria ABC inventory classification. The WLO model generates a set of criteria weights for each item and assigns a normalized score to each item for ABC analysis. Although the WLO model is considered to have many advantages, it has a limitation that many items can share the same optimal efficiency score. This limitation can hinder a precise classification of inventory items. To overcome this deficiency, we propose a context-dependent DEA based method for multi-criteria ABC inventory classification problems. In the proposed model, items are first stratified into several efficiency levels, and then the relative attractiveness of each item is measured with respect to less efficient ones. Based on this attractiveness measure, items can be further discriminated in terms of their importance. By a comparative study between the proposed model and the WLO model, we argue that the proposed model can provide a more reasonable and accurate classification of inventory items.

  • Clustering is one of the most popular unsupervised learning methods, which is widely used to form clusters with homogeneous data. Clustering was used to extract contexts corresponding to clusters and a classification method was applied to each context or cluster individually. However, it is difficult to say that the unsupervised clustering is the best context forming method from the view of classification. In this paper, a new clustering method considering classification was proposed. The proposed method tries to minimize classification error in each cluster when a classification method is applied to each context locally. For this purpose, the proposed method adds constraints forcing two data points belong to the same class to have small distances, and two data points belong to different classes to have large distances in each cluster like in linear discriminant analysis. The usefulness of the proposed method is confirmed by experimental results.

  • Various algorithms and system development are being required to support the advanced decision making of navigation information support system because of a serious loss of lives and property accidents by officer's error like as carelessness and decision faults. Much of researchers have introduced the techniques about the systems, but they hardly consider environmental factors. In this paper, We collect the context information in order to assess the risk, which is considered the various factor of the sailing ship, then extract the features of knowledge context, which is to apply the weight of correlation coefficients among data in context information. We decide the risk after the extract features through the classification and prediction of context information, and compare the value accuracy of proposed method in order to compare efficiency of the weighted value with the non-weighted value. As a result of experience, we know that the method of weight properties effectively reflect the marine environment because the weight accurate better than the non-weighted.

  • Context-aware systems require sensor data collecting model and context representing model to provide user-demand services. Sensor data collecting model consists of sensor access information, sensor value, and definition of value types. Context representing model involves certain keywords to symbolize environmental information including the field from sensor data collecting model that is described in markup language such as XML. However, duplicated keywords could be assigned to different contextual information by service developers. As a result, the system may cause misunderstanding and misleading wrong situational information from unintended contextual information. In this paper, we propose a context classification model for collecting appropriate access information and defining the specification of context.

  • As the trend of e-business activities develop, customers come into contact with products through on-line shopping sites and lots of customers refer product reviews before the purchasing on-line. However, as the volume of product reviews grow, it takes a great deal of time and effort for customers to read and evaluate voluminous product reviews. Lately, attention is being paid to Opinion Mining(OM) as one of the effective solutions to this problem. In this paper, we propose an efficient method for opinion sentiment classification of product reviews using product specific context information of words occurred in the reviews. We define the context information of words and propose the application of context for sentiment classification and we show the performance of our method through the experiments. Additionally, in case of word corpus construction, we propose the method to construct word corpus automatically using the review texts and review scores in order to prevent traditional manual process. In consequence, we can easily get exact sentiment polarities of opinion words in product reviews.
