  • This study seeks to establish a ubiquitous wardrobe with a clothing management function through detailed and subdivided integration research. To create a database, a survey was conducted, and the output data were analyzed and used as the basic data. In particular, this study researched clothing management programs and companies' standards of clothing product classification systems. First, through an in-depth analysis centering on specialists, we established the contents of a ubiquitous wardrobe and used the concept of cloud computing to support the wardrobe contents and smart phone applications. Second, this research found significant differences between individuals, schools, and enterprises in their applications of, and the importance they attach to, design images. A detailed database composed of various categories was established to present the ubiquitous wardrobe contents with efficient functions. Third, we facilitated the search process by designating clothes with QR codes, which is one of the functions of contents. Fourth, the code numbers generated in the process of entering clothes into the database were utilized as RFID information as a way to arrange the products in a simpler manner. The ubiquitous wardrobe was constructed as a web-style hybrid, and its contents areavailable through mobile applications and QR codes.

  • Digital textbooks, considered as core textbooks tailored to the abilities and interests of students, provide them with a combination of textbooks, reference books, workbooks, dictionaries and multimedia contents. In this paper, we employ a modified version of the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), a model which has been widely used and empirically validated to explain why individuals use a particular information technology(IT). This paper proposes that additional variables, such as educational impacts, contents quality, interaction and enjoyment, enhance our understanding of behaviors of pilot school teachers in using multimedia-based digital textbooks as a substitute for traditional paper-version of textbooks. A structural equation model is employed with survey data from 157 pilot school teachers in pilot program supported by Korean government and KERIS(Korea Education & Research Information Service), to empirically assess the strength of the relationships in the proposed model. It is hoped that the results from this study provide meaningful insight into the development and delivery of high quality digital textbooks.

  • This study was conducted to compare the awareness, satisfaction, and usage patterns of female-consumers for food-nutrition labeling in Busan. The survey was conducted from April 15 to June 10, 2018 by questionnaire. Degree of perception of food-nutrition labeling was higher among individuals in their 30s, 40s and 50s than those in their 20s, 60s and 70s. The score of verification degree was highest among respondents in their 40s and lowest among those in their 20s and 70s. Degree of demand of individuals in their 70s was lower than that of those in their 60s. Degree of reliability of individuals in their 30s, 40s and 50s was higher than that of those in their 20s, 60s, 70s. Satisfaction degree did not differ significantly among groups. Overall the most common reason to review food labeling was 'to confirm expiry date' (30.8%). Among those in their 20s, the main reason for reviewing nutrition labeling was 'weight control', while it was 'nutrients' among those in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s, and 'health improvement' among those in their 70s. Additionally, 51.3% of the subjects reported that the major reason for difficulty understanding the labeling was 'small letter, various form'. The demand for nutrient contents was highest in sodium. Age was negatively correlated with perception of food-nutrition labeling, demand, need for education and publicity, and nutrition knowledge (P<0.01), whereas it was positively correlated with dietary attitude (P<0.01). There was a strong correlation between demand for food-nutrition labeling and the need for education and publicity regarding food-nutrition labeling (r=0.546). Therefore, education materials and improvement plans based on age should be developed and implemented to inspire individuals to choose more nutritious food and develop a healthy dietary life.

  • This paper discusses the type of discourse associated with mental illness and individuals with mental illness in the context of TV documentary. Discourse is an linguistic product which prescribes and interprets the reality and reconstructs the reality systematically. Therefore, TV documentary contents illuminate the dominant discourse associate with mental illness through the diverse types of representation. We picked four TV documentaries from each public channels and analyzed these documentaries using Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis. Faircough suggests the analysis frame consisting of three level. The analysis reveals that TV documentaries produce the discourse "the Completion of Distinction" associated with mental illness and individuals with mental illness. TV documentaries suggest the reason why we distinct them from us in textual level. In discourse practice level, they suggest the method and the principal agent of distinction. For social practice, TV documentaries reinforce the dual attitude of viewer. Alternative discourse associated with mental illness and individuals with mental illness will be constructed when individuals with mental illness recovers the status of principal agents and produces strong voices about themselves.

  • Numerous products have been created in a digital format in the era of digitization. At an early stage, such products were provided in the format of individual digital file, requiring the individuals to own products by downloading them on the personal devices. With the development of Internet network, people began to consume digital goods in a new mode called 'streaming.' Streaming is a service provided through access-based consumption mode based on Internet network. Rather than downloading each file, individuals can utilize such product and services by connecting the network to their own devices. Access-based digital goods are distinguished from traditional ownership-based digital goods such as downloaded contents, in that permanent ownership is not allowed. Taken this into account, this study attempts to investigate how individuals' perception toward digital goods, the psychological ownership, differs according to the consumption mode. The results show that individuals feel less psychological ownership toward access-based digital goods than ownership-based digital goods. Our study provides several avenues to both theory and practice.

  • The shared economy began with the concept of sharing the physical and intellectual assets of individuals with others. Nowadays, the concept of shared economy is becoming one of the industries as an enterprise type. Especially, with the development of the Internet and smart devices, various forms of shared economy have been developed in accordance with the need of sharing of individual income. Digital content is also a shareable commodity and it is seeking to utilize it as an item of shared economy. Accordingly, when digital contents are used as a shared economy, there are various possible threats -security threats that may arise in the course of transactions, potential for theft, alteration and hacking of contents. In this paper, we propose transaction method and content protection method using block chain-ethereum technology to reduce security threats and transparent transactions that can occur in digital contents transactions. Through the proposed method, the trust of the consumer and the supplier can be measured and the encryption can be performed considering the characteristics of the data to be traded. Through this paper, it is possible to increase the transparency of smart transaction of digital contents and to reduce the risk of content distortion, hacking, etc.

  • Effect of artificial illumination on feeding by the rockfish Sebastes schlegeli receiving no synthetic feed in the cage of the Tongyong Marine Ranch was investigated by analysing the stomach contents of 20 individuals every month from October 1998 to July 1999. The fish was found to have fed on naturally available zooplanktons, i.e. Calanus sinicu, zoeae, amphipods and copepodites in October, fish larvae in November-December, nematodes in January, amphipods in February and again fish larvae from May to July. Despite increase in the weight of stomach contents from 260 mg/fish during the initial period of study to 2,173 mg/fish, as many as 70% of the fish were found to have empty stomach during March-April. Weight of stomach contents did not increase with increasing age of the fish. Occurrence frequency was 83-90% for C. sinicus during October-November and >50% for fish larvae during March-April and June-July.

  • Globalization, conversions, and OSMU (One Source Multi Use) in modern cultural industry is expanding fast, and global competition is soaring with a changing environment today. In fact, the development of one nation depends on its cultural creativity. Yet, there is an increasing need for a connection between space and culture since globalization homogenizes a nation's unique cultural identity and provides low level of utilization in digital cultural contents in terms of saving, conserving and maintaining data. In order to invigorate the cultural industry, there must be some information that provides public culture contents, which they can be freely searched, displayed, and re-produced. Ultimately, these public culture contents should be able to provide Culture Space. This text discusses how individuals produce the Culture Space, which provides digital information of time and space, from a relationship between culture and space. It also introduces the public Culture Contents service framework in order to provide culture information and combined Culture Contents.
