A Recommender System Model Using a Neural Network Based on the Self-Product Image Congruence

  • This study predicts consumer preference for social clothing at work, excluding uniforms using the self-product congruence theory that also establishes a model to predict the preference for recommended products that match the consumer's own image. A total of 490 Korean male office workers participated in this study. Participants' self-image and the product images of 20 apparel items were measured using nine adjective semantic scales (namely elegant, stable, sincere, refined, intense, luxury, bold, conspicuous, and polite). A model was then constructed to predict the consumer preferences using a neural network with Python and TensorFlow. The resulting Predict Preference Model using Product Image (PPMPI) was trained using product image and the preference of each product. Current research confirms that product preference can be predicted by the self-image instead of by entering the product image. The prediction accuracy rate of the PPMPI was over 80%. We used 490 items of test data consisting of self-images to predict the consumer preferences for using the PPMPI. The test of the PPMPI showed that the prediction rate differed depending on product attributes. The prediction rate of work apparel with normative images was over 70% and higher than for other forms of apparel.

  • Nowadays, there is a huge need of an extensive study to understand features and behavior modes of consumers who have an indefinite potential of purchase and to make EC a bullish market, Recently, the flow construct has been proposed as important for understanding consumer behavior on the cyber space. The purpose of this study is threefold. To investigate (1) the effect of the flow experience when navigating Internet shopping-mall sites and Internet on purchase intention and relational factors of this (2) the difference in the flow experiences between during the time of navigating Internet and during the time of navigating Internet shopping-mall sites. (3) the difference in purchase intention and relational factors of this between an experiential flow and a purposeful flow. The results show that (1) increase of the purchase intention on EC (or relational factors of this) in proportion to the degree of cognition of users' flow experience (2) By the separate motive of searching Internet shopping-mall sites, the flow experiences during the time of navigating Internet lead to different results (3) Although the difference in the purchase intention on EC between subjects is nonsignificant, it suggests that we need to focus on the fact that the correlation between the purchase intention on EC and the purposeful flow experience on Internet shopping-mall sites is greater than any other correlation. In the end of this study, The theoretical and practical implications of the study, limitations of the study, and future research implications are discussed.

  • 본 연구는 모바일 쇼핑에서 소비자가 제품을 구매하기 위한 구매행동 및 의사결정에 대한 요인에 대해 알아보고, 모바일 소비자 행동을 알아보기 위해 문제인식, 정보탐색, 대안평가, 구매행동 단계로 구매의사결정과정을 정의하고 각 단계별 요인이 소비자 구매결정에 어떤 역할과 영향을 미치는지 실증 분석을 통해 모바일 쇼핑의 소비자 구매행동을 규명하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 정보탐색의 사용자 특성은 플로우에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정보탐색 단계의 사용자 특성과 대안평가의 지각된 위험 관계에서 이익인지가 높을수록 시간손실에 대한 지각된 위험은 낮아지고 기술수준이 높으면 지각된 위험이 높아지며, 혁신성은 위험지각에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 부분 채택 되었다. 셋째, 플로우 경험과 구매의도 관계에서는 원거리존재감과 도전은 구매의도에 영향을 미치지 않고 흥분, 주의집중, 통제는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 부분적 유의하며, 지각된 위험과 구매의도는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 실용적 관여와 감각적 관여의 관여 유형에 따라 소비자 구매행동의 차이를 분석한 결과 사용자 특성과 플로우, 지각된 위험은 제품 유형에 따라 탐색과정에 차이가 있으며 구매의도가 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의했다.

수정된 라이브커머스 스케이프가 재구매의도에 미치는 영향: 지각된 유용성과 플로우의 매개역할 (Effect of Modified Livecommercescapes on Repurchase Intention: Mediating Roles of Perceived Usefulness and Flow)

  • Purpose: This study used the SOR model to analyze the impact of live commerce's modified livecommercescape factors (interactivity, presence, playfulness, convenience, and broadcaster characteristics) on repurchase intention through usefulness and flow. Research design, data, and methodology: 1,149 respondents with live commerce purchase experience were collected through an online survey, and the collected data was analyzed with SPSS 25.0 and SmartPLS 4.0 statistical package programs. Results: Presence and playfulness were found to have the highest influence on flow and usefulness. In particular, Presence and broadcaster characteristics were found to be the factors that had the greatest influence on flow. Playfulness was found to have the greatest impact on usefulness, and two-way communication was found to have the lowest influence among the five servicescape factors. Broadcaster characteristics also affect flow but not usefulness, and convenience only affects usefulness and does not affect flow. Flow shows results that affect usefulness and repurchase intention. Conclusion: Our findings provide a richer understanding of causal relationships within the SOR framework, demonstrating that broadcaster characteristics, two-way communication, presence, and playfulness can influence flow, perceived usefulness, and, consequently, consumer purchasing behavior.

옴니채널 쇼핑동기가 패션제품 구매의사결정단계별 소비자의 옴니채널 전략 소구에 미치는 영향 연구 (Influences of omni-channel shopping motivations on consumer acceptance of omni-channel strategies through fashion product purchasing processes)

  • As fashion and distribution companies have increasingly turned to implementing marketing activities that use omni-channel strategies, it is imperative to explore consumer-oriented evaluations of omni-channel shopping for fashion products. Through contributing to the growing research flow of consumer behavior within omni-channel contexts, the current study explores consumer motivations for omni-channel fashion shopping and their impacts on the decision-making stages of fashion products. The authors first performed in-depth interviews with six Korean consumers and confirmed the four types of consumer motivation for omni-channel shopping, and how decision-making processes react to fashion companies' omni- channel marketing strategies. These findings were used to set survey items for the main study. Based on the results and findings of previous literature, an online survey was conducted with 300 participants who had actual experience with omni-channel shopping for fashion products. The statistic results from the survey revealed the following: First, the in-depth interviews allowed the authors to confirm four factors of omni-channel shopping motivation (ubiquity, efficiency, convenience, and impulsiveness). Second, the survey showed the authors that among the four factors of omni-channel shopping orientation, impulsiveness had the greatest effect on consumer behaviors at the preand on-purchase stages, while the ubiquity factor had the greatest effect at the post-purchase stage. As such, the study empirically tested the omni-channel-specific factors of shopping orientation and motivation. In addition, it showed the effect of omni-channel marketing on various stages of the decision- making process and the study's limitations and implications were discussed.

Online Flow: Effects of Perceived Challenges Measured Before and After a Shopping Task

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between perceived challenges measured before and after shopping online for fashion products and their effects in leading to flow. An online survey including an online shopping task was conducted with a national sample of 500 adult consumers recruited in the U.S.A. The paired t-test results show that perceived challenge measured before the task is significantly higher than perceived challenge measured after the task. ANOVA results further show that the interaction effect between skill and challenge on flow is significant only when perceived challenge is measured after that task. Implications of the findings and recommendations for further research are also discussed.

지각된 가치와 위험이 인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰의 수입패션제품 구매행동에 미치는 영향 - 공식딜러와 비공식딜러의 비교분석을 중심으로 - (The Influence of Perceived Value and Perceived Risk on Consumer Purchasing Behavior for Imported Apparel in Internet Shopping Malls)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate influences of perceived value and perceived risk on purchasing behavior for imported apparel from official dealer and unofficial dealer in internet shopping mall. A total of 363 female subjects with ages ranging between 20's and 30's completed the questionnaire. The results of this study were as follows. 1) Imported apparel through official dealer had no influence by impulse buying for convenience and efficiency value, information value, after-purchasing value. On the other hand, imported apparel through unofficial dealer had a negative influence by impulse buying for convenience and efficiency value. 2) Imported apparel through official dealer had a negative influence by impulse buying for function and service risk. But for imported apparel through unofficial dealer, not only function and service risk but also private information risk were influenced by impulse buying. 3) All of imported apparel through official dealer and unofficial dealer had no influence by flow for convenience and efficiency value, information value, after-purchasing value. 4) All of imported apparel through official dealer and unofficial dealer were influenced by flow for function and service risk. That is to say, when consumer find satisfaction about quality of products, whether real thing or not, guarantee of quality, consumer's purchasing behavior will be enhance.

  • 본 연구에서는 이용과 충족 이론 토대로 럭셔리 패션 브랜드 인스타그램 계정을 이용하는 소비자들의 이용 동기를 분류하고 이용 동기에 따라 경험하게 되는 몰입 상태의 즐거움과 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 연구하였다. 분석결과, 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 럭셔리 패션 브랜드 인스타그램 이용 동기는 몰입에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치며 사회적 상호작용 동기, 정보적 동기, 유희적 동기 순으로 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이용동기 중에서 사회적 상호작용 동기가 몰입에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 럭셔리 패션 브랜드 인스타그램 계정 이용 시 소비자의 몰입상태가 즐거움과 같은 긍정적 정서를 유발하여, 이는 구매의도에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 럭셔리 패션 브랜드 인스타그램 계정 이용자 특성인 연령대는 정보적 이용동기와 몰입 간의 관계에서 유의한 정적 조절효과를 가졌고 유희적 이용동기와는 유의한 부적인 영향을 보였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 럭셔리 패션 브랜드의 주요한 커뮤니케이션 수단으로 활용되는 인스타그램 계정의 이용과 관련된 소비자 심리에 대한 실증적 결과를 얻었고, 이는 기존 관련 선행연구 흐름에 기여했다.

Feeder Loop Line Control for the Voltage Stabilization of Distribution Network with Distributed Generators

  • When renewable sources are connected to the distribution network in the form of a distributed generators(DGs), the effect of intermittent output appears as voltage fluctuation. The surplus power at the consumer ends results in the reverse power flow to the distribution network. This reverse power flow causes several problems to the distribution network such as overvoltage. Application of the reactive power control equipment and power flow control by means of BTB inverter have been suggested as the general solutions to overcome the overvoltage, but they are not economically feasible since they require high cost devices. Herein, we suggest the feeder loop line switch control method to solve the problem.

  • 본 연구는 아웃도어 레크리에이션 활동에 집중되어 있던 레크리에이션 전문화 이론을 e스포츠에 적용한 점과 e스포츠 흥행을 주도하고 있는 주요 종목인 리그오브레전드를 중심으로 현재의 e스포츠 소비자의 여가 특성에 대한 차이를 통계적으로 유의하게 검증했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 종목에 적용함으로써 연구를 확대하여 일반화시키려는 노력이 필요하며 e스포츠 여가에 대한 양적 연구와 질적 연구 방법의 도입이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
