The purpose of this study is to apply the expectancy disconfirmation model to consumer post-purchase behavior toward fast fashion brands. This study incorporated repurchase intention as a result of consumer satisfaction. It was hypothesized that consumer satisfaction, which is influenced by expectation, perceived performance, and disconfirmation, influences repurchase intention. It was also hypothesized that expectation influences performance. This study examined the brands and prices of the most recent purchases of fast fashion and also examined whether the purchases were planned or unplanned. The hypothesized path was tested and the relative influences of instrumental and symbolic performance on satisfaction were identified. Data were collected from questionnaires answered by 344 university students who were selected by convenience sampling. The results were as follows: 1) Purchased brands were, in the order of frequency of purchase, Uniqlo, Zara, H&M, and Forever21, followed by domestic brands, 8seconds, Spao, and Mixxo. The frequency of unplanned purchase was more than twice higher than planned purchase. 2) Based on expectation and performance, dissatisfactory group was larger than satisfactory group, which were 35.8% and 24.7% respectively. 3) It was revealed from the expectancy disconfirmation model analysis that expectation and performance had positive influence, but cognitive dissonance had negative influence on satisfaction. Satisfaction had significant influence on repurchase intention. The path analysis showed that all hypothesized path coefficients were significant. The results suggest some effective marketing strategies for marketers in the fast fashion industry.
외 해수 중에서 생물입자 size 분포 보다 더 광범위한 분포와 다양한 환경(입자의 비중, 해상의 바람, 저질상태, 수심 등)에 의한 것으로 추정되었다.ents should be given this natural ground of proof.understanding with multiple, dynamic representations of the problem using visualization. The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of consumer evaluative criteria based on clothing quality perception of adult males and females. A demonstrative study was conducted using a questionnaire on adults over 20 years old who were considered to afford to purchase clothes. A total of 650 questionnaires were distributed, and among them, 380 were used for the demonstrative analysis. The study used SPSSWIN V.8.0 for the analysis. Factor analysis and reliability analysis were introduced as analysis methods using the varimax rotation to classify consumer evaluative criteria for clothing purchasing. In addition, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, 1-test, multiple regression analysis, and duncan test are executed. The study result is as follows. First. expectation, importance and performance are examined by customer quality perception. Four factors- practicability, care, aesthetics, and symbolism- are classified through the factor analysis of 19 evaluative attributes based on importance. Second, differences of quality perception f3r expectation, importance and performance were found partly in customers' demographic characteristics. Third, the influential relation of satisfaction and quality perception is examined. Aesthetics and practicability have significant influence on the general satisfaction of evaluative attributes by performance.
Many firms try to enhance the customer satisfaction, because they believe that higher customer satisfaction leads to superior returns. According to expectancy disconfirmation model, consumers judge the satisfaction in comparison with their expectations about the product performance. If the performance is above the expectations, increase in satisfaction is expected. If the performance is below the expectations, decrease in satisfaction is expected. This explanation contradicts our beliefs that higher expectation leads to consumer's choices. To address the contradiction, this paper present a unified model which combines the expectancy disconfirmation model with the well-known diffusion model. The unified model shows that the expectation can increase the choices even if the expectation decreases the satisfaction.
Theoretically and practically, it is very important to understand the way which tourist satisfaction is operated. The purpose of this study is to identify interaction among the determinants of tourist satisfacton process. A model of tourist satisfactioin process is developed based based on the confirmation / disconfirmation which is originated from consumer behavior literature. Three elements of the model include 'expectation','performance', and 'discrepancy between expectation and performance'. 340 questionnaires were delivered to find Everland visitors' perceptions of the determinants of tourist satisfaction. LISREL 8.14 was used to analyze the interaction among the determinants. The results are as follows : 1) 'expectation' has indirect effect on tourist satisfaction while 'performance' and 'discrepancy' has direct effect on the tourist satisfaction, 2) two precedent variables such as 'expectation' and 'performance' have indirect effect on the satisfaction through 'discrepancy',3) among the three determinants it is found that 'performance' is the most effective determinant of tourist satifaction, and 4) the model which was composed from the aspect of 'travel cost' was more effective to describing tourist satisfacton rather that from the aspect of 'service quality'.
The purpose of this study was to explore the consumers' attitude and expectation-satisfaction on well-being products, Consumers' expectation, performance and disconfirmation scales were composed 7 items of 5-likert scales. Consumers' Satisfaction on well-being products was measured with one-item-measurement scale, The consumers' well-being attitudes were composed 4 dimensions such as (1)consuming the well-being products, (2)pursuit of mental well-being, (3)criticism about commercial fashion, (4) pursuit of harmony with natural life. The results were as follows: 1. The well-being attitudes were contrast with a positive attitude and negative attitude, Especially, criticism about commercial fashion was highly remarked. 2. There were statistic differences in the consumers' expectation and performance on well-being products, The Expectation was higher than the performance. It means that consumers' high expectation on the well-being products will bring about the lower satisfaction or dissatisfaction. 3. Consumers' Satisfaction on the well-being products was statistically different among groups by the well-being attitudes.
Customers' evaluation of Website with satisfaction is critical in electroniccommerce. Previous research has studied in a distinct approach; especially IT oriented constructs-perceived usefulness, easy of use and marketing oriented constructs-product, shopping experience, service quality. Despite those important previous studies regarding the usage and the purchase of goods and services, how consumers are satisfied and why consumers leave Web sites without purchasing have not been extensively researched. This study explored those determinants of consumer satisfaction with Web site using expectation-disconfirmation theory (EDT). The present paper extends the range of EDT from antecedents of expectation to consequence of satisfaction. The result suggests that experience and familiarity has an impact on expectation as well as perceived performance and satisfaction. Second, higher expectation makes a negative impact on disconfirmation of expectation. Third, positive disconfirmation of expectation makes a positive impact on satisfaction. Forth. satisfaction produces loyalty and repurchasing intention. Finally, loyal customer has stronger intention to repurchase than satisfied customer.
Objectives : The SERVQUAL scale is based on gap theory, which suggests the difference between consumers' expectations and the quality of the medical service actually received. However, problems in the implementation of the SERVQUAL scale have been identified by several researchers. Some researchers have proposed a simple performance-based measure (SERVPERF) or au exportation-controlled performance-based measure(Non-Diff) as alternatives to the SERVQUAL scale. On the basis of the theoretical concerns discussed, we examined the capability of each of the three scales(SERVQUAL, Non-Diff, SERVPERF) to explain variations in consumer satisfaction. Methods : Data was gathered from a self-administered questionnaire in a 430 bed hospital. Questionnaires evaluating medical services were distributed to 180 ambulatory patients. A total of 167 usable questionnaires were gathered. The questionnaire was composed of 10 expectation, performance and expectation-controlled performance items. In addition, overall satisfaction and purchase intention were measured. Results : Compared with the SERVQUAL scale, the Non-Diff and SERVPERF scales better explained the observed variations in consumer satisfaction(SERVOQUAL, $R^2=0.29;\;Non-Diff,\;R^2=0.51;\;SERVPERF,\;R^2=0.48$) and purchase intention(SERVQUAL, $R^2=0.22;\;Non-Diff,\;R^2=0.33;\;SERVPERF,\;R^2=0.34$). Conclusion : The maier conclusion from our study is that the Non-Diff and SERVPERF scales are more efficient in assessing consumer satisfaction than the SERVQUAL scale. Therefore we suggest that consumer satisfaction he measured by the Non-Diff or SEVPERF scales.
Purpose This study verified the moderating effect of consumer knowledge in relation to the factors affecting the acceptance intention of autonomous vehicles by adding trust to the United Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model for the commercialization of autonomous vehicles. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, this study conducted a survey on general consumers who are interested in automobiles. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed and collected, and 242 questionnaires were used for analysis. To test the hypotheses, multiple regression analysis and multiple group analysis were performed. Findings Performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and trust were found to have a positive effect on the acceptance intention of autonomous vehicles. In addition, consumer knowledge between performance expectation and acceptance intention and between effort expectation and acceptance intention was confirmed as a variable that can moderate the relationship.
User satisfaction has been widely used by information system(IS) researchers as the most appropriate surrogate variable for the systems success since Bailey and Pearson(1983) provided their user satisfaction measurement. Because user satisfaction is a perceived performance measure by users, not a real or objective measure for systems success, however, perceived user satisfaction by users may not be exactly identical with the real systems performance. In this regard, if the user's ultimately perceived satisfaction is different from the real systems performance, we need to investigate why these two measures are different and which factors may cause the difference. From the perspective of disconfirmation of user expecations, this study examined why user satisfaction and real systems performance may not be identical each other. Expectaion-disconfirmation theory which has had a central role in marketing in explaining the effects of expectation and disconfirmation on consumer satisfaction was similarly adopted in this study to explain the role of expectation and disconfirmation in user satisfaction in the IS environment. Based on the expectation-disconfirmation theory, the current study developed a research model to examine the effects of expectation, system performance, and disconfirmation on user satisfaction in particular. Six research hypotheses derived from the research model were empirically tested using the partial least squares(PLS) method. The results of the statistical analysis indicate that the effects of system performance and disconfirmation were fairly strong on user satisfaction, while the user's expectation has shown insignificant influences on user satisfaction.
