소비자 교육프로그램의 체계화에 관한 연구 -교육내용을 중심으로- (On systematizing the Educational Programs for Consumers- With Special Attention to the Contents of Education-)

  • The purpose of the present paper is to review the content of the Consumer Education Programs, is to establish a hypothetical model regarding the contents of the consumer Education programs, and is also to analyze the contents of the Consumer Education Programs seen from the various angles of the value of our home life. For this, we have researched literatures and habe made the hypothetical model for the desirable contents of the consumer education programs, and also have conducted a case study together with and analysis bearing the actual evidence. Form what we have studied regarding the results of the research, conclusions that can be derived are as follows; First, the contents of the consumer education programs of Korea are not sufficient to improve the quality of the environments of our houses, family life, and decision making. Secondly, the contents of the consumer education do not meet the societal and economic changes. Third, since the contents of the consumer program of Korea emphasize the theory-oriented discussion, they are not suitable to educate the consumers who are really in need of consumer education.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the curriculum in the field of Consumer Science through the analysis of current curricula which are offered within Home Economics units in Korea and the U.S. A field of Consumer Science was proposed to be divided into two different area, the area related to household economy and the area related to consumer problems. The area related to household economy includes the subfield of household economics and the subfield of family financial management. The area related to consumer problems are the subfield of consumer decision-making, the subfield of consumer education, and the subfield of consumer protection policy. And the new curriculum based on this classification was developed and discussed with respect to the purpose and content of lectures.

  • This paper describes the consumer's decision-making process fur own optimal electricity consumption schedule and strategy using new load management system (LMS). As a result, it is demonstrated that a consumer in competitive electricity market has the opportunities to reduce electric payment by use of this LMS.

의복구매 의사결정과정의 가격관련반응에 따른 단계적 구분과 특성에 관한 질적 연구 (The Qualitative Study on Consumers' Price Related Response in Clothing Purchase Decision-Making Process)

  • Consumers' price related response in the clothing purchase decision-making process includes their expectation of price, price perception, attitude toward price and consequent behaviors. The purposes of this research are to systematically organize consumers' price related responses in the clothing purchase decision-making process, and to explain the effect of price on their purchasing. The qualitative research including shopping observation and in-depth interview was conducted. The result identified stages that showed different price related responses in clothing purchase decision-making process, and clarified each stage's characteristics. In the internal search stage, consumers recalled price information from memory and had a specific expectation about the price. This set a direction for the external search. In the external search stage, consumers selected brands or stores by a non-compensatory evaluating with an expectation of the price, and narrowed these down to several determinant alternatives by actively evaluating the products. In case a sufficient amount of price information was not recalled, the consumer established reference price through the external search. Finally, in the purchasing stage, consumers evaluated the determinant alternatives based on their compensatory evaluation. When perception of price was negative, consumers evaluate price combined with the higher criteria of clothing benefits, such as symbolic value and usability. The research is expected to contribute to predicting consumers' responses to price, and to establishing an effective pricing strategy.

스마트폰의 심리적 파워에 의한 의사결정 요인 탐색 (Exploring the Factors of Decision Making by the Psychological Power of Smartphone)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 스마트폰 사용자들의 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 탐구하는 것이었다. 본 연구는 친밀감, 개인연결성, 사용 및 의존성, 친숙함 및 전문성, 효능 및 효과, 자아정체성, 제어 등을 독립 변수로 설정하고 의사 결정을 종속 변수로 설정한다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰 사용자 200명을 설문지를 통해 수집 분석하였으며, 변수간 영향을 파악하기 위해 Smartpls 3.0을 사용하였다. 스마트폰 사용자의 심리적 강도에 영향을 준 6가지 요인 중 5가지가 의사결정에 영향을 미친 것으로 분석됐다. 또한 조절변수로서의 사용 기간 등이 심리적 영향과의 관련성도 살펴보았다. 본 연구 분석 결과는 이전에 스마트폰의 심리적 영향에 대한 요인들에 연구가 미진한 가운에 스마트폰 기기의 발전 형태의 소비자 행동 기반이 될 수 있고, 향후 본 연구를 바탕으로 스마트폰 시스템 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

모바일 쇼핑의 소비자 구매행동에 관한 연구 - 사용자 특성, 플로우 경험, 지각된 위험, 관여 유형를 중심으로 - (A Study on Consumers Purchasing Behavior of Mobile Shopping - User Characteristics, Flow, Perceived Risk, Involvement -)

  • 본 연구는 모바일 쇼핑에서 소비자가 제품을 구매하기 위한 구매행동 및 의사결정에 대한 요인에 대해 알아보고, 모바일 소비자 행동을 알아보기 위해 문제인식, 정보탐색, 대안평가, 구매행동 단계로 구매의사결정과정을 정의하고 각 단계별 요인이 소비자 구매결정에 어떤 역할과 영향을 미치는지 실증 분석을 통해 모바일 쇼핑의 소비자 구매행동을 규명하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 정보탐색의 사용자 특성은 플로우에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정보탐색 단계의 사용자 특성과 대안평가의 지각된 위험 관계에서 이익인지가 높을수록 시간손실에 대한 지각된 위험은 낮아지고 기술수준이 높으면 지각된 위험이 높아지며, 혁신성은 위험지각에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 부분 채택 되었다. 셋째, 플로우 경험과 구매의도 관계에서는 원거리존재감과 도전은 구매의도에 영향을 미치지 않고 흥분, 주의집중, 통제는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 부분적 유의하며, 지각된 위험과 구매의도는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 실용적 관여와 감각적 관여의 관여 유형에 따라 소비자 구매행동의 차이를 분석한 결과 사용자 특성과 플로우, 지각된 위험은 제품 유형에 따라 탐색과정에 차이가 있으며 구매의도가 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의했다.

도시주부의 購買의사결정 합리성에 관한 연구 -취업주부와 비취업주부의 비교분석- (A Study on the Rationality of Wives' Decision Making in Purchasing - comparisons, Between Working and nonworking Wives-)

  • Previous studies show that working wives in the market contribute to the family economy that affects the family member's behaviors as consumers. Accordingly, the consumer behavior among working wives would be differ form that among nonworking wives. As the number of working wives in the market is increasing, this study focuses on the estimation of the degree of rationality in purchasing decision making among wives in relation to their working status. Therefore, this study attempts to construct an rationality index of a purchasing decision making both at a high and a low involvement situation by working and nonworking wives, and analyzes the differences in the results of the two groups. This study also examines how the rationality indices vary with the selected socioeconomic variables. The data are obtained from self-administered questionnaires from a sample of 217 working and 191 nonworking wives at Seoul and Seongnam in 1986. The statistical methods used in this study are Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression, and Analysis of Variances. The major findings of this study are as follows; 1) The mean value of the rationality index among nonworking wives is higher than that among working wives. Under a high involvement situation, the mean value of the rationality index among working wives is negative. Therefore, it is likely that nonworking wives make purchasing decisions more rationally than working wives. 2) The higher the degree of wive's education, the more rational the purchasing decision making. Under a low involvement situation, the higher the monthly family income, the more rational the purchasing decision making . under the same situation, the shorter the duration of marriage , the more rational the purchasing decision making. 3) Under a low involvement situation, the rationality indices of working wives vary with their occupations. The rationality indices among those in selling and service jobs are lower than those among those in professional jobs. 4) The impact of the selected socio-economic variables on the degree of the rationality in purchasing decision making differs depending on whether the wife is working or not. Under a low involvement situation, the positive impact of the monthly family income on the rationality in purchasing decision making is stronger among nonworking wives than among working wives. Under the same situation, the negative impact of the duration of marriage on the rationality is stronger among nonworking wives than among working wives.

IMF 영향도와 주관적 사회계층에 따른 대학생의 의복구매행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influences of IMF, Subjective Social Classes and Clothing Buying Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between consumer's economic environments and clothing buying behaviors. Consumer's economical environments can be identified as the influence of IMF and subjective social classes. And clothing buying behavior can be defined such as clothing buying motives, informants, clothing selective standards, price, patronage store in terms of consumer decision making process. This study was carried out in theoretical and empirical ways. The questionnaire was administered to 375 university students living in seoul during the April, 1998. The results of empirical study were as follows; First, Consumer's individual characteristics are proven to be significantly related to the influence of IMF and subjective social classes. Second, the influence of IMF is proven to be significantly correlated to the clothing buying behavior. Third, the subjective social classes is proven to be partially related to the clothing buying behavior.

  • Purpose This study aims to investigate the factors that influence decision making in relation to providing personal information on the internet with respect to the integration of the privacy calculus theory and protection motivation theory based on the dual-calculus model proposed by Li(2012). Design/methodology/approach The privacy calculus theory and protection motivation theory have been applied to explain privacy behavior to a certain degree but few studies have been conducted to explain privacy behavior based on the integration of these two theories. Although Li(2012) proposed the dual-calculus model, he only proposed its framework and did not carry out an empirical study. Therefore, this study proposes a research model that integrates these two theories and examines the relationship between the two theories through an empirical study. Findings According to the results of empirical analysis, it was found that all relations have statistically significant explanatory power except the relation between coping appraisal and privacy risk in the risk calculus process. Thus, the results verify that external threat played a decisive role in increasing the risk level of a consumer's privacy. It can be discussed the ways to enhance the privacy behavior of consumer on the internet through these findings.

소비자 구매단계별 기술-유통 통합(IRC)과 가치에 대한 연구 (An Analysis of ICT-Retail Convergence(IRC) and Consumer Value Creation)

  • 소비자만족과 소비자경험을 향상시키기 위해 기술-유통 통합(ICT Retail Convergence; IRC)이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 소비자에게 상용화된 IRC의 현황과 가치를 소비자의 구매의사결정 단계별로 고찰함으로써 소비자 관점에서 IRC를 진단하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 국내 외 유통관련 문헌 고찰을 통해 IRC 종류를 살펴본 결과, IRC는 체험특화기술인 가상현실(VR)와 증강현실(AR), 정보관련기술인 인공지능(AI)과 빅데이터, 위치기반기술인 비콘과 RFID, 결제관련기술인 핀테크와 생체인식기술로 구분되었다. 다음으로 각 기술별 대표사례를 수집하고 소비자에게 제공하는 가치를 분석한 결과, 기술 유형에 따라 구매단계별 소비자에게 제공하는 가치에 차이가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 소비자의 만족향상과 유통산업, 기술의 발전이 함께 이루어질 수 있는 IRC 도입 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 향후 다양한 산업과 후속연구에서 소비자 지향적으로 기술을 분석하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.
