This study were conducted to reveal the awareness and competitiveness of Korean packaging industry in information technology(IT) and e-commerce. For the survey, 114 sample companies were selected representing all packaging materials, equipment and systems, institutes, consulting and trading companies. The trained interviewers spoke to the respondents who were at the position of packaging research and development and were considered knowledgeable about the level of IT in the company. The collected data were analyze in three major categories: IT fundamentals, usages, and company policy. From the results, packaging suppliers were at the very low level of IT fundamentals and uses compared to those of packaging users. The gap between packaging suppliers and users that access the Internet was seriously wide, and this trend was generally due to different size of company. Packaging suppliers were still at the basic level of information-oriented working environment.
The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship among self-efficacy, emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of medical tourism employees. This survey was conducted from March 2 to March 31, 2018 and targeting medical tourism employees who work at hospitals, travel agencies, medical tourism agencies and consulting firms in Seoul. 282 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 18.0. The result of this study is as follows. First, self-efficacy positively influenced on emotional labor and organizational commitment. Second, self-efficacy positively influenced on all job satisfaction factors as like job itself satisfaction, salary/promotion satisfaction and relationship satisfaction. Third, deep acting factor of emotional labor positively influenced on job itself satisfaction and relationship satisfaction. Forth, job itself satisfaction and relationship satisfaction positively influenced on organizational commitment. These research findings can be summarized as follows. Medical tourism employees of hospitals, travel agencies, medical tourism agencies and consulting firms have to be supported greatly to improve their own job competency and job qualifications. Second, medical tourism organizations try to understand the real emotion of medical tourism employees when they are dealing with medical tourists. Third, medical tourism employees have to be recognized their job performance and provided suitable incentives for the results. The findings of this study provide practical implications about strategical human resource management of medical tourism agencies. Moreover, it will be useful for hospitals and government officials to establish a management framework in medical tourism industry.
This study emphasizes the necessity of implementing political supports for artists and suggests several details to develop related industries. For these objectives this study analyzes the trend in related researches and overhauls the aid system. It then comes up with results about how artists are aware of the supporting system by conducting a survey of 140 artists. The result of summarize as follows. First, most of the artists have severely limited access to government-funded or private aid programs. This signals the urgency of establishing an integrated portal site since the artists aren't evenly offered the information they need. Along with this, artists should note that the main purpose of this portal site is focused on providing information related to livelihoods. Secondly, the analysis shows the lack of infrastructure for supporting artists. Both governmental and private sectors should take charge of establishing art consulting agencies which can bring efforts to improve rights and interests of many artists via a number of channels. Supporting artists also presents its necessity about solving social problems besides the one suggested by previous studies. This study has its significance by implying the actual perspectives of artists while most of the related studies are rather theoretical.

SMEs are constantly demanded of changes in the rapidly-evolving business environment, which involves the fourth industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this period, management consulting service becomes more in demand to provide technical and strategic solutions for management problems. This study aimed to empirically analyze the direct effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and the indirect effects of such parameters as learning agility and self-efficacy on job satisfaction in management consultants. On the basis of a literature review, inter-variable association was designed in the research model. Based on an online survey of those in the Korean SME management consultants, this study collected 221 questionnaires then used structural equation modeling for statistical analysis. The results reveal that emotional intelligence significantly affected job satisfaction and, also significantly positively affected learning agility and self-efficacy. In addition, a significant indirect correlation could be found between learning agility and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, if learning agility and self-efficacy mediated job satisfaction, emotional intelligence had no significant effect on job satisfaction and fully mediated learning agility and self-efficacy. It is necessary to develop an emotional intelligence education program that can help management consultants improve their emotional intelligence with the objective of giving successful management consulting services.

The quality of performance evaluation on engineering consultants that provide design-related technical services is difficult to be measured, and only a handful of papers discussed the quality during the design stage. Although design cost is relatively far less than construction cost for a project, the decisions made in the design phase have a significant impact on the final products of the project, especially for large public construction projects. Therefore, this research focuses on reviewing and then establishing a performance evaluation framework for the consulting firms that execute detailed design and provide technical services for the Taipei Rapid Transit Systems (TRTS). By interviewing experts, this study first established a set of indicators to evaluate these firms' performance. Then, those indicators were incorporated into the four aspects of balanced scorecard (BSC) to establish the architecture of the evaluation mechanism. The weight of each indicator was calculated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) from a survey conducted among experts. The results showed that the top-three indicators were quantity take-off, functions conformity, and budgeting. The framework of performance evaluation established by this study can be applied to measure service performance during the design stage. It not only facilitates the monitoring of consulting firms, but also helps to reduce unnecessary change orders and disputes during the construction stage.
After it was reorganized as the rural center revitalization project recently, there is an opinion that the nature of the project was changed to solve long-time aspired projects of some districts unlike various projects according to the previous project purposes. Therefore, this study analyzes the current status of revitalization project plans and operation monitoring to make rural center villages, establishes plans that can be applied to the rural center village revitalization project and suggests the improvement plans for monitoring. With the necessity of connectivity with centrality analysis for long-term and sustainable growth of the rural center revitalization project, the analysis on the 8 districts' centrality analysis and the function of the master plan were compared and analyzed, but there is not enough interrelation. Regarding the consulting methods for weak districts to activate facility operation after the project is implemented, the field consulting performed by the collaboration of Gyeongsangnam-do government, Gyeongnam Rural Revitalization Support Center and Gyeongnam branch of Korea Rural Community Corporation shows 87.6% of satisfaction level, which indicates it is the most effective. Based on the above results, it is necessary to reinforce the methods on resident demand survey, dimension and the reflection process of the project when preliminary plans are established for effective implementation of the rural center village revitalization project. It is also necessary to revise relevant standards not to change preliminary plans excessively during the master plan establishment process, and to oblige preliminary investigation of experts. The joint monitoring and consulting systems of experts and local governments should be applied from the establishment stage of the master plan, so that it can be sustainable rural center village revitalization project.

The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility of a landfill project to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) from La Chureca Landfill in Managua, Nicaragua ("Project"). The feasibility study involved surveying the status and composition of waste on its way in to the landfill and projecting GHG emissions from the landfill. A projection of the GHG emissions with the IPCC model based on the survey results indicated the period 2006 to 2043 would see mean yearly GHG emissions of 290,147 ton-CO2/year with model certainty not considered, and 217,610 ton-CO2/year with model certainty considered. Thus, the result exceeded the corresponding median and mean values of other CDM projects implemented in Central America, even after model uncertainty was considered together with the conservative estimation of carbon capture efficiency. The similar result was produced even with an analysis of sensitivity to error factors. All the findings of the study are expected to be applicable as basic data for deciding about whether & how to proceed with the Project.
Purpose - The total amount of advanced Corporate Pension Insurance products exceed 148 trillion Korean Won at the end of 2016. For a firm with over 300 employees, when a bill on compulsion of introduction of Corporate Pension Insurance products, currently pending in court, is passed, Corporate Pension shall be an essential. The findings of the paper will provide a guideline for understanding on firm's attributes and its effects towards introduction of Corporate Pension Insurance products. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected using statistics of employer panel survey from Korea Labour Institute in 2013. The study analyses a sample survey on 1,775 outstanding enterprises and their HR department among whole corporations in Korea. For analysis of data, empirical testing by Logistic Regression was utilized. Results - As an outcome of empirical testing, variables on share of regular employees and the aged employees in over 50's generates a significant statistical meaning. It eventually gives a great impact on purchase of Corporate Pension scheme. Moreover, variables on corporate financial statement, current sales, current net income, total amount of the debts, labor cost per person also has a vital influence on introduction of Corporate Pension Insurance products. Lastly, variables on firm's labor relationship have no effect except for the execution or non-execution of HR consulting. Meanwhile, Variables affecting a choice on pension schemes types among firm's attributes are a share of regular employees, current net income, execution or non-execution of HR consulting etc. These variables represents a statistical implication. According to their each features, they prefer DB or DC plan. Conclusions - Introduction of corporate pension scheme is apposite to contemporary Korea's situation entering a hyper-aging society and firms with a high share of regular employees, the weight of aging, current sales, current net income and labor cost per person are exceedingly active in purchasing Corporate Pension Insurance products. However, after the introduction of corporate pension scheme, firms which has an implementation of consultation on human resource management, flexible benefits plan, job security and welfare system prefer DC plan whereas from financial perspective firms with high net income prefer DB plan.
Purpose: Present study was designed to examine the casual relationships among web service quality, customer satisfaction, initial trust and off-line visit intention in hospital website. Research object was limited to web service quality of general hospital. We applied path analysis model in order to test the hypotheses and research model. Methods: Survey tool, that is, Questionnaire had obtained validity through literature survey, exploratory survey and pretest and sample 320 was selected. For statistical treatment of pretest and main analysis, SPSS18.0 and AMOS18.0 were employed and Structural equation model was employed as analysis method. Results: Result of this study shows as follows. Factors of web service quality have an effect on customer satisfaction and initial trust, both of customer satisfaction and initial trust have an effect on off-line visit intention. Also customer satisfaction affects initial trust. Especially, customer satisfaction and initial trust were empirically confirmed as the important factors preceding off-line vis it intention. Conclusion: Therefore, present study shows that customer satisfaction and initial trust are important factors that medium and small size hospitals have to emphasize to raise performance. However, present study has some limitations to additionally research in the future.
Since vehicles' trajectories are so complex and dense traffic changes in nature frequently, the VANET (Vehicles Ad-hoc Network), using Omni-directional Antenna, has many channel collisions (or overlapping) on Data Link phrases (MAC layers). It is not easy to keep a good seamless communication status for VANET because of its unpredictable network environment. Among VANET research, Directional Antenna have been proposed as one of the most common systematical solutions to reduce (or to mitigate) this miss-communication problems by narrowing communicational ranges and making use of its customized error-detection process. However, even though Directional Antennas help VANET keep good seamless communication, many VANET researchers have reported that Directional VANET still has miss-communicational problems - this has lead to problems like 'Directional Hidden Terminal Problem', 'Deafness', 'Un-accuracy Lobe Scopes' and 'High Deployment Cost' being reported in various papers. To establish well-organized design assessments for a good Directional VANET MAC protocol to overcome these problems, we rearranged and grouped current Directional VANET' qualitative criteria from several current survey papers using these categories- 'Directional Discovery', 'Directional Forwarding' and 'Directional Handover'. In addition, based on the results of the following analysis, we show the essential design concerns that need to be looked at in order to develop a well-designed Directional-VANET MAC protocol.
