A study on the Needs for Nutrition Management Program for Elderly Who use Welfare Facilities (노인복지시설 사용자 중심의 영양·식생활관리 프로그램 요구 분석)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to investigate the nutritional status, health conditions, eating habits and experience and demand for nutrition dietary management of senior citizens. And these data are formed foundation of development of nutrition dietary management education program and contents in welfare facilities for the aged. Methods: We visited 3 public health centers, 3 senior citizens centers, and 4 welfare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Chungnam province, and Daejeon area and carried out interview by semi-structured questionnaire for senior citizens older than 65 years who use those facilities. Results: The study included 17%, 30.7% and 52.3% of senior citizens from public health centers, seniorcitizen centers and and welfare centers, respectively. The age range of 43.9% of the population was 65-74 years and and 56.1% were older than 75 years. We observed that 83.2% of subjects took some medicines due to diseases that they have and 58.0% took prescription medicines for hypertension. The thing that they considered the most when selecting food was 'the taste'(p<0.05). Regarding the level of practice to keep the dietary life, they answered more than 'average' for most of items but answered less than 'average' for lot of salt intake, drinking, exercise. For the experience of nutrition dietary life education, only 19.8% answered 'Yes' and the service for nutrition dietary life management showed the highest score in the demand for 'provide nutritious food'. For the size of consulting group for nutrition/dietary life education, the public health center and welfare center preferred a larger group size but the senior citizens center preferred a smaller group. With regard to who will carry out the consulting, the demand for dietitian was the highest and the operation type showed the high demand in the order of consulting, education. The contents that they want to have consultation in nutrition dietary life education were diet therapy for diseases and the ordinary diet therapy for health. Conclusions: This study suggested the management of nutrition dietry life necessitates qualitative measures according to the different types of welfare facilities. For these, it is in need of development of counseling and education program included therapy for disease. Above all, the policy to secure dietitian of welfare facilities for the aged to perform these should be achived.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between transaction justice and customer performance. In this study, data were gathered from questionnaires from customers and suppliers of manufacturing outsourcing service, and reliability, validity, and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were conducted and the hypothesis was verified through the structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1)Transaction justice has a significant positive effect on customer's business performance. Distribution and Interactional justice have a small effect on business performance, but Procedural justice has a significant positive effect. 2)Transaction justice has a positive effect on partnerships. 3)The partnership between the customer and the supplier has a positive effect on the customer's business performance. 4)Partnership has positive effect on customer's management performance through mediating justice. This study is based on the fact that justice acts as a independent variable in the transactional relationship between the customer and the supplier in the manufacturing outsourcing and this is the first case that empirically investigated the effect of the justice on the customer's management performance. In order to effectively cope with a rapidly changing business environment and effectively improve management performance, it is necessary to make efforts to improve justice, especially procedural justice, by utilizing outsourcing effectively in a global competition. In this respect, this study provides important implications for the both academically and practically.

A Study on the Effects of Tourism SNS Benefits on the Customer's Intention to Reuse through the Value of Tourism SNS (관광 SNS 효익이 관광 SNS 가치를 통해 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between the subfactors(economic benefits, customized benefits, psychological benefits) of tourism SNS benefits and the intention to reuse tourism SNS values, and propose measures to revitalize the tourism industry through marketing strategies that can continuously provide differentiated services from customers through long-term relationship formation, increase profits, maintain and secure customers. This study conducted an empirical analysis of 326 people aged 19 or older. The results of the study are as follows. First, in the relationship between tourism SNS benefits(Economic benefits, customized benefits, psychological benefits) and tourism SNS values(economic value, functional value, emotional value), it was confirmed that tourism SNS benefits have a positive impact on all of the tourism SNS values. Second, in the relationship between the sub-factors of tourism SNS values and the intention of reuse, it was analyzed that all sub-factors of SNS values have a positive effect on the intention of reuse. Based on result of this study, developing contents such as mobility apps to strengthen long-term relationships with customers to maximize the value of tourism SNS and tourism SNS will improve the reuse of tourism service.

The Effects of Perceived Justice on Store Loyalty in the Department Stores Service Recovery (백화점 서비스 회복과정의 지각된 공정성에 점포 애호도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined whether the efforts of department store for recovering services may be perceived fairly from the standpoint of customers upon any occurrence of service failure, whether such perceived justice contributes to higher customer satisfaction and trust, and whether such customer satisfaction and trust have positive influence on store loyalty of customers, respectively. For this sake, this study investigated relevant literatures, set up some hypotheses to solve main questionable considerations and made a corresponding empirical analysis. For empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was applied to total 204 customers who experienced in service recovery around domestic major department stores in the last one(1) year. With regard to empirical analysis to verify some hypotheses hereof, this study verified the reliability and validity of each questionnaire item by means of statistical programs like SPSS 10,0 and AMOS 4.0, followed by verifying hypotheses through SEM(structural equation modeling) analysis. These results indicate that positive efforts of department stores for service recovery upon their service failure may bring customer satisfaction and trust in department store, which result in boosting up store loyalty of customers. In this empirical study, it was notably demonstrated that despite any occurrence of service failure, the corresponding efforts of department stores to improve the level of justice perceived by customers in course of service recovery, had positive effects on better customer satisfaction, trust and store loyalty, and these effects induced customer's continuous repurchase, positive WOM(word of mouth) and recommendation about the use of appropriate department store, which may contribute to better its competitive edge.

Classification of Performance Types for Knowledge Intensive Service Supporting SMEs Using Clustering Techniques: Focused on the Case of K Research Institute (클러스터링 기법을 활용한 중소기업 지원 지식서비스의 성과유형 분류: K 연구원 사례를 중심으로)

  • In recent years, many small and medium-sized manufacturing companies are making process innovation and product innovation through the public knowledge services. K Research institute provides different types of knowledge services in combination and due to this complexity, it is difficult to analyze the performance of knowledge service programs precisely. In this study, we derived performance items from bottom-up viewpoints, rather than top-down approaches selecting those items as in previous performance analysis. As a result, 74 items were finded from 82 companies in the K Research Institute case book, and the final result was refined to 17 items. After that a case-performance matrix was constructed, and binary data was entered to analyze. As a result, three clusters were identified through K-means clustering as 'enhancement of core competitiveness (product and patent),' 'expansion of domestic and overseas market,' and 'improvement of operational efficiency.'

  • The impact of the recent small business start-up competition in the market, has become overheated. It is effected by early retirement of a generation of youth employment. This study is a study on the impact of SEMAS(Small Enterprise and Market Service) system operating of the funding system, education support programs, and consulting support system on the business performance of small business owners. It has surveyed 272 business owners, in Gyeongsangnam-province. The study includes specific support system for usage frequency and satisfaction and conducted from January 2013 to September 2015. In addition, it analyzes characteristic that motivation, business model, item, owner's experience, sales and demographic by small business owner. Analysis results, the management performance of small business that uses financial support system and consulting support system is shown to be high. But education support system is the opposite effect. As a result, the management performance is related to industry experience. Therefore education support system need to be reorganized to the support depends on the development stage. This study was conducted to help small business owners entered the start-up market and a decision-making person with a policy decision.

  • Since the beginning of 2002, KONEPS(Korea ON-line E-Procurement System) which is known with GePS(Government e-Procurement Service), has become a significant role in Korea public procurement service. This paper focuses on the amendments of the related laws and the practical improvement of inconveniences and inefficiencies in user's' position during the use of KONEPS. We analyzed the case of government procurement by major countries, the detailed process and function of KONEPS, and confirmed the revised procurement laws since the commencement of KONEPS. When a user of KONEPS makes an online purchase at the g2b shopping mall to purchase procurement goods, we analyzed focused on the inconvenience of option selection, user feedback after purchasing, unification of the purchase procedure, compared with general online shopping purchase. This paper suggests practical ways to improve the inconveniences and inefficiencies that arise in the process of procurement and use from KONEPS. It is necessary to study on the construction contracts and the empirical studies based on the questionnaire on the functions of procurement law and research model for the cases used in this study in the future.

  • The study analyzed previous studies on traditional markets and market modernization projects to analyze research trends and content related to traditional markets. Next, the study selected 4 traditional markets throughout the nation where there was promotion of market modernization projects to conduct field research and interviews about store modules, line of flow, facility configuration, and types of businesses. Empirical comparative analysis was conducted on construction hardware status through measurement and observation and data was collected on business environment and requirement characteristics by business type through interviews with merchant associations of the corresponding markets. Consistent standard was applied as much it was possible to comparatively analyze the 4 market modernization cases and on the unique characteristics of individual markets, the cause was determined in conjunction to the history of the business promotion process and regional characteristics. After the study, basic data to suggest guidelines in store modules by business type in traditional markets could be acquired and the study identified the facilities equipment standards that must be considered in future market modernization projects. Through this it will be possible to derive policy implications to minimize trial and error and guarantee business efficiency in future market modernization projects.

  • The purpose of this present study is to empirically analyze the variables affecting socio-economic performance of social enterprises. For this purpose of 107 enterprises, located in Seoul, was performed under the hypothesis that the authentication properties (authentication type, authentication year) of social enterprises will affect the socio-economic performance. The analysis showed that first; authentication type among the characteristics of social enterprises showed significant effects on the social performance. Second, authentication year among the characteristics of social enterprises showed significant effects on the economic performances. In addition, since the job-creating type showed higher social performance, it would be desirable to raise the certification rate of this type in the future. The analysis implied that longer the years of accreditation, the greater positive effects on the socio-economic performance of social enterprises was shown. Therefore, the present study suggest the need to diversify support policies according to the number of authentication years in order to secure sustainability by maximizing the socio-economic performance of social enterprise because the monolithic support is not very effective for continued growth and self-reliance of social enterprises.

The Study of Key Success Factors of One-Person Creative Firms (1인 창조기업의 성공요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze subjective and objective factors for the successful operation of One-Person Creative Firms and find significant variables in accordance with the sales and net profit that are representing business performances. Additionally, we were trying to find that what One-Person Creative Firms have had a government assistance need the supports in order to achieving a good performance in sales and net profit. In the result of this study, the sales volume is related that two(2) subjective(Judgment, Planning) and four(4) objective factors(Patent Application, Patent Registration, Business Duration, Initial Capital). The net profit is related that Challenging Spirits in subjective factors and Run-up to the Business, Business Duration, Initial Capital in objective factors. Ultimately, these factors are important variables for the sales and net profit in relationship both the positive(+) and negative(-). This is an exploratory nature of the study rather than the rigorous hypothesis testing. Therefore, a rigorous hypothesis test study model to derive a more detailed study is needed based on the results of this study in the future.
