고도 정보 연계 사회의 구축을 위한 SPB(Seamlessness-Privacy-Benefit) 패러다임 (SPB(Seamlessness-Privacy-Benefit) Paradigm for Construction of Highly-Connected Information Society)

  • The purpose of this research is two-fold : (1) we propose the paradigm to construct a connected information society according to a judgment where a coming information society will evolve into highly-connected information society having "seamlessness" as a keyword, and (2) we draw guidelines to construct infrastructures and establish systems and business models of highly-connected information society based on suggested paradigm. To achieve this, this research conducts the followings. First, we suggest reasons why a coming information society can be appropriate to be considered as highly-connected information society by examining two perspectives on the coming information society. Second, we explain the definition and characteristics of highly-connected information society and propose the SPB paradigm. Third, we analyze the utility of SPB paradigm by evaluating practices. Finally, we suggest four strategies to construct highly-connected information society based on advanced research findings and future research directions.

  • Competitiveness of a nation can be explained by the concept of national innovation systems(NIS). As components of NIS, industry clusters become the issue in analysing innovative activity of an economy. Innovative clusters can be identified by the innovation survey or other economic activity data. Input-output Table was used widely as a tool for quantitative analysis, This paper classifies seven clusters in Korean industry based on inter-industries trade of intermediary goods and services, Maximizing procedure method is used in analysing input-output table. Identified clusters are Textiles/chemicals, Construction/Material, Instrument/Equipment, Automobile, Services, Energy, and Agriculture/Food cluster, Among these clusters, some different characteristics in R&D portfolios are detected. R&D investment characteristics of each cluster give us significant implications in understanding innovative dynamics of Korean industry.

개념격자를 이용한 온톨로지 오류검출기법 (An Approach for Error Detection in Ontologies Using Concept Lattices)

  • The core of the semantic web is ontology, which supports interoperability among semantic web applications and enables developer to reuse and share domain knowledge. It used a variety of fields such as Information Retrieval, E-commerce, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Bio-informatics. However, the reality is that various errors might be included in conceptual hierarchy when developing ontologies. Therefore, methodologies and supporting tools are essential to help the developer construct suitable ontologies for the given purposes and to detect and analyze errors in order to verify the inconsistency in the ontologies. In this paper we propose a new approach for ontology error detection based on the Concept Lattices of Formal Concept Analysis. By using the tool that we developed in this research, we can extract core elements from the source code of Ontology and then detect some structural errors based on the concept lattices. The results of this research can be helpful for ontology engineers to support error detection and construction of "well-defined" and "good" ontologies.

  • It is noteworthy that IMT -2000 communication network based on All-HP/AIN(Advanced Intelligent Network) should accomodate current and future wire/wireless AIN service easily through integration and gearing AIN construction elements. In this paper. Intelligent Farmer model(I-Farmer Model) and methodology are suggested in order to solve the several problems including standardization on implementation of Q3 interface in Telecommunication Management Network(TMN) agents which is caused by heterogeneous platform environment and future maintenance. Also this paper proposes ITI algorithm transforming the system which is designed by I-Farmer model to Interface Specification Model(ISM) applying the I-Farmer model. In addition to ITI algorithm. we suggest NTS(Node to SIB) algorithm converting entity node and ILB/OLB component in agent system designed by the I-Farmer model to SIB of AIN GFP(Global Functional Plane) and to ASIB for application program.

계산에 기초한 하드웨어 도입 규모산정 방식 연구 (The Study on Hardware Sizing Method Based on the Calculating)

  • According to the policy for "e-Korea construction" of Korean government, Investment of information system during the past decade are dramatically increasing. More than a half of this investment is cost of hardware infrastructure. So, accurate hardware sizing are essential for higher efficiency of investment. Accurate hardware sizing benefits are generally viewed in terms of the avoidance of excess equipment and lost opportunity costs by not being able to support business needs. Unfortunately, however, little research effort to make the hardware sizing methodology are doing. We propose a sizing method for information system in public sector. This method is determinate empirical study that are gathering and analyzing cases, making method and reviewing expert. Finally we are proposed calculating method for hardware components that is CPU, memory, internal and external disk according to the application system type which is OLTP, Web, WAS. Our study certainly will act as a catalyst for higher investment-efficiency of the future information programs in public sector.

  • Relentless competition and price cutting race make small/medium software business very difficult to maintain their business. Especially small software businesses are often at a disadvantage when they try to win government contracts, Due to the characteristics and importance of software industry, there is no doubt that government support for mall/medium software business is indispensible. In fact, the development of the US software industry has been strongly influenced by government policy during postware period. This paper attempts to examine the general small/medium business supporting policies currently implemented. In addition, policies in the construction industry and the US federal government are explored, in order to find appropriate roles the government should play.

  • 최근 병원 환경은 점차 유비궈터스 환경으로 변화되고 있으며, 이에 따라 응용 서비스 또한 새로운 요구사항에 직면하고 있다. 특히, 다양한 모바일 장치의 출현과 무선 센서 네트워크 기술의 도입은 u-헬스케어의 실현을 가속화 시키고 있다. 서로 다른 환경에서 구축된 정보의 통합이나 다양한 웅용 시나리오를 만족하기 위해 멀티에이전트 패러다임을 도입하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문은 유비쿼터스 병원 정보 시스템을 위한 소프트웨어 구조와 u-응용서비스에 대해 기술한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 u-병원 정보 시스템을 위해 멀티에이전트 기반 분산 프레임워크를 구축하고 제시하고 있다. 이는 JADE와 분산객체그룹 프레임워크를 포함한다. 그리고 의사와 간호사를 위해 환자의 건강 정보와 병실 환경 정보를 제공하는 u-응용 서비스를 구현하였다. 특히 기존 관련 연구에서 강조하고 있지 않은 보안 부분에 대한 상황기반의 동적 보안 메커니즘을 적용하였으며, 본 연구에서는 각 사용자의 GUI를 통해 수행결과를 보였다.

  • Supply chain management is a total systems approach to delivering manufactured products to the end customer. Using information technology to coordinate all elements of the supply chain from parts suppliers to retailers achieves a level of integration that is a competitive advantage not available in traditional logistics systems. On the other hand, service chain management is an analogous systems approach that is especially suitable for delivering mobile services such as parcel delivery, cable installation, and home health care. The key elements that distinguish service supply chain management from supply chain management are bidirectional optimization, management of productive capacity, and management of perishability. The purpose of this study is to maintain the construction of service chain management by proving that service quality in after-sales service can be improved through service chain management. First of all, supply chain management, service quality, and service chain management were introduced in theoretical research. In empirical research, it was selected the domestic enterprise that produce electronic appliances with after-sales service, and some customers using the enterprise's after-sales service in the metropolitan area were selected as a sample by convenience sampling method and examined.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 샌디에고 바이오 클러스트를 형성하는데 핵심적 역할을 한 CONNECT의 성공요인과 프로그램들을 문헌연구를 통해 분석하고 소개함으로서 우리나라 창업보육센터의 서비스를 향상시키기 위한 방향성을 제시하는데 있다. 현재 CONNECT는 창업보육에 있어 세계적인 벤치마킹사례로 유명하다. 본 논문에서는 국내의 지방자치단체 및 창업보육기관들이 쉽게 벤치마킹할 수 있도록 CONNECT의 성공요인을 분석하고 핵심보육프로그램들을 소개하는데 중점을 두었다. UCSD CONNECT는 기업성장단계별로 다양한 기업의 필요에 따른 지원프로그램을 잘 갖추고 있으며 현재까지 800개가 넘는 하이테크기업들을 육성했다. CONNECT는 하드웨어적 지원방식에 익숙한 우리나라의 창업보육센터가 향후 중점을 두어야 할 다양한 소프트웨어적 지원 프로그램들을 제공해 왔다. 정책책임자의 리더쉽, 네트워크 및 소프트웨어적 기업지원서비스가 UCSD CONNECT의 가장 중요한 성공요인이었다.
