Framework Development for the U-Eco City Construction Guideline (U-Eco City 구축 가이드라인 프레임워크 개발)

  • The goal of U-Eco City testbed is improving the technical completion of ubiquitous technology/Services which have been developed in other core projects in U-Eco City, by implementing newly developed ubiquitous technology/Services to testbed. When the newly developed ubiquitous technology/Services are implemented in the testbed, we will monitor whether the developed ubiquitous technology/Services can be applied in the real situation and if they have problems we will find out the solution to solve the problems. Final goal of this reaserch is framework development for the U-Eco City construction guideline. We developed the framework development for the U-Eco City construction guideline by i)analyzing steps for construction of U-Eco City, ii) analyzing details of each steps for construction of U-Eco City, and iii) including results of research which have been developed in other core projects in U-Eco City.

  • Modular construction is recognized as a construction method with various advantages, such as shortening the construction duration, achieving quality control through factory production, ease of maintenance, and reduced construction costs due to reduced weight of materials. However, despite efforts by the modular industry and government to activate modular construction, it has rarely been established in the domestic market. Currently, there are technical limitations to the modular construction fire resisting technology applied to general buildings. The lack of access to modular construction fire resistance regulation is considered a major factor. In this study, the current status and problems with modular construction fire resistance regulation, a significant hindrance factor, were considered to activate modular construction. This study is intended to present a direction for institutional improvement in modular construction fire resistance and a direction for research and development.

  • This study is developed vehicle information detector using loop and piezo sensors. This study would analyze the over all problems concerning our road conditions, environmental matters and unique features of our traffic matters; moreover, with these it would develope the hardware, software, car classification algorithm applied by artificial intelligence and traffic monitoring program which can be easily fixed. This can be divided into traffic detecting algorithm and car classification algorithm. Especially, we have developed the car classification algorithm used by C-means Fuzzy Clustering method.

  • Underground structure construction in the downtown is very difficult despite the development of construction technology. We have been a lot of research in order to solve the problem, it was a remarkable achievement. But there are still many difficulties. This study is to analyze the construction technology to demolish the existing underground structures and to build new building applied topdown method at the same time. This technology was effective to suppress interference between the exsisting structure and new building. Therefore, this technology is expected to be able to be used in similar cases in the future.

  • The main purpose of this study was to develope the prototypes of on-line supervision system for maintenance to protect the confidence of operation of electric facilities in buildings. The influence of the harmonics on the electric facilities in building, which is recently growing more and more serious, were also analysed, and finally the essential techniques on the condition supervision, diagnosing method of facilities were proposed.

  • Changes of construction industry entails needs of new construction technologies. In order to address the needs and new challenges, innovative interdisciplinary research programs are considered to be a good solution. To identify such research programs, technology-push and market needs investigations are conducted. Through analysis of international journals and patent maps, technology fusion-based research program are developed. This paper suggest the strategy for technology fusion-based construction process innovation.

  • 미국, 영국, 호주 등의 나라들은 최소의 비용으로 도로시설물의 기능을 유지 또는 개선하기 위한 방안으로 자산관리(asset management) 체계를 기반으로 한 정보시스템을 개발하고 있다. 한국은 아직까지 자산관리정보시스템에 대한 연구가 초보적인 수준에 머물러 있다. 본 연구에는 사용자관점의 서비스 수준(level of service)과 경제성 분석기법 간의 관계를 토대로 도로시설물을 유지관리하기 위한 자산관리정보시스템을 개발하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
