A Study on the Repair Time of the Construction Type in the Apartment Housings (공동주택 공종별 수선시기 설정 연구)

  • Apartment is settled down as a main housing type and massive supply has been conducted since 1990's. The government has focused on the housing supply to improve the housing number and cut its price. On the contrary, the management of the housing has been neglected to get an early deterioration. Since 1995's, various ways have been made to improve and maintain the building function and performance. Among these, the long-term repair plan has played a main role to manage the housing condition and plan the repair schedule for preparing the massive cost of repair such as a roof proof, elevator change. The long-tern repair plan provides the repair time and repair rate according to various construction types. Most of the management agent apply the repair standard into the field area. But the repair time could not reflect the present condition and bring into the wrong maintenance. Therefore, the repair time for the long-term maintenance plan would be revised and reflected from the material and technology development. |n this study, it aimed at improvement for the repair time in various construction types which are provided in the long-term repair plan. For this, the 22 management agents are surveyed directly. This study shows that the repair time of the painting are correspondent to the repair time of the long-term plan irregardless of the painting materials. Most of other areas would correspondently similar to the long-term plan. This study could not include the building location, material and other haracteristics. Therefore, the further study would be needed to reflect the building and materials attributes to get the detailed repair time.

The flow of Temporary Facility Planning Information in High-rise Building Construction (고층건축공사에서의 가설계획 정보흐름)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a systemized flow of temporary facility(TF) planning information. The current TF planning tends to be established by subjective decision making of field workers. Therefore TF planning needs more systemized information flow to provide a reliable schedule. The study was implemented through interview with experts for reliable TF planning. The main contents of the study are as follows; 1) TF planning process model(IDEF0) are established. 2) Various information flow diagrams proposed to support TF planning decision-making. The study recommends that, as a future research, the computer system be developed for application of the information flow.

  • Labor work information can be converted into the useful construction information in an effort to analyze project status, measure performance, and design a new similar project plan. The labor work information can also be used to make productivity data, which can be used to analyze the relationship between 'as planned' and 'as built' in scheduling management of a project, and to calculate 'percent completion' as well as analyzing delay cause. It is require to effectively collect the labor work information base on the activities. In general, current project management heavily depends on the experience and judgment of project managers, according to the work progress. However, relying on the oかy experience and judgment of the project managers might deteriorate the transparency or reliability of the collected labor work information. The purpose of this research is thus to develop a computer-based system for monitoring the work information generated by labors input in activities using PDA and Barcode technologies, and to propose a application method of the productivity data for effective project management.

  • This case study deals with an excavation blasting carried out at "Sooseo-Pyeongtek ${\bigcirc}$-${\bigcirc}$ section construction site" in the vicinity of residential area. Originally, the sequential blasting (multi-stage blasting) using electric detonators was planed in this area. However, there was a concern that the sequential blasting method could increase the construction cost by delaying the construction period due to possible complaints from local residents. As an alternative, electronic deck blasting technique was taken in order to meet the ground vibration regulation (0.2cm/s, in apartment area) and to keep the construction schedule. The performance of the electronic deck charge blasting was two times better than the sequential blasting with electric detonators and the level of ground vibration was also within the regulatory value (0.2cm/s). In particular, it was shown that the use of electronic detonater eDevII, which was developed for tunnel, could provide more convenient and electrically safer working condition.

  • The Great Hall of Incheon International Airport Transportation Center has irregular curved roof structure. The structure consists of 13 main steel trusses. (the longest span of 162m, 480ton) The total weight of the truss is 6,300ton and the whole truss is made of 9,600 pieces which has the joint connected to maximum 13 different parts at one point and Roof Truss is supported by 12 Fabric Foundation. Considering the economical efficiency and the schedule, the Sliding Construction Method was used other than conventional erection method. The roof truss structure was divided into two blocks, 3,550ton and 2,700ton, each block was pre-erected on the Giant Sleigh off the site and was pulled 181m by using Tandem Pulling Jack and Strand to be set in place.

  • In domestic public works, there are several problems in the measurement of payments based on the bill of quantity, which doesn't match with the activity progress rate, heavy paper works and complicated procedures. It can be classified formal and simplified method. By using the simplified method, it can be solved many problems by summarizing the procedure, but is not generally used. This paper proposes a payment method by progress measurement for specified activity based on WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) verifying efficiency which reduced cost account and advanced work on payment compare to method of domestic public works using the data about construction of eco-river. This method will be an important contribution on being a base for cost-schedule integrated management which were verified and also improving efficiency on measuring payment.

  • Recent construction projects consist of large and complex facilities, which project management information system (PMIS) is used for managing construction cost and schedule. The ministry of land, transport and maritime affairs (MLTM) is using a continuous acquisition and life-cycle support (CALS) system for managing the public construction projects. This study attempts to survey some problems of the CALS system in practical application, and then suggests the new functions to improve practical application of the CALS system. All functions in each menu were analyzed in the practical application aspect. All projects ordered from MLTM should use the CALS system as a PMIS, but the practical application is limited in partial functions and special working group. And the utilization of system is focused on simple tasks and report process. One of main reason is that the system is using numerical data rather than graphical data. This study suggests new functions and a visualized management method that can improve the practical applicability using a 4D object in each current functions.

Standard Work Process to Reduce a Risk of Track Exchange Work for Railroad (철도 운행선 변경작업의 리스크 저감을 위한 표준작업 프로세스 도출)

  • Since many resources are put into the work of changing the railway operation within limited time, it is important to have a specific work plan and safety management. For this reason, the work schedule is shared in advance, and parallel work is being carried out simultaneously by rail system, such as tracks, trolly wires, and signals. However, due to the nature of the transfer work, the work is carried out at night when the railway operation is finished, and many resources are put into the limited area of the operating line, so the risk of safety accidents and failure to change the operating line is recognized as high. Nevertheless, there is still not enough research done in korea regarding the operation line change construction. Therefore, this study is conducted a survey on the track exchange work of railroad for working people, and analyzed the results of the survey. Finally, a standard work process was suggested to reduce the risk of track exchange work.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this research was to research on Needs for the Construction of the CSFT(Cluster with a Strongpoint for Field Training) on students and professors of health-related majors. Methods : We investigated 164 students and professors using a self-reporting method with experience of Field Training. A statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 for window version. Results : It showed that educational satisfaction had scored 4.05 in curriculum, 4.00 in environment, 3.52 in schedule, 3.71 in evaluation and 3.71 in teaching and 3.84 in industrial-college systems for Field Training. Needs for the Construction of the CSFT had scored 4.17 in $mean{\pm}standard$ deviation. Conclusion : Characterization of Nursing, Department of Health and local health care environment and conditions, if you think the quality of education for the Department of Health Nursing, gradually, the acquisition and improvement of the base hospital is necessary. Therefore, it is considered to be institutionalized by installing the strongpoint hospital at least one in each region, so that they can contribute to the improvement of people's health.

  • The BIM (Building Information Modeling) model created in the design stage can be used for prior review and schedule management for the construction stage. However, in the case of actual BIM application cases, additional work is required, such as creating a new model suitable for the construction stage, rather than using the 3D model in the design stage, due to the difference in the purpose of use between the design stage and the construction stage. Therefore, in this study, a division function of BIM model is proposed as a method of recycling it in the construction stage without a remodeling process. In addition, the application to the actual BIM model and the 4D CAD system linkage of the divided object and the comparison with the existing division method are used to verify the usability.
