Current situations, such as IMF crisis, WTO agreement and decrease of construction market, demand changes to construction companies. To meet the situation, they focus on the value of the intangible assets to improve their competitive power. In Korea, Various institutes estimate the construction company in accordance with their Purposes. But their estimating method has limitations to know the potential value of the company because they don't much concentrate on characteristics of construction industry and intangible assets. This study was peformed to introduce the methodology of estimating intangible assets of company and to show the state of intangible asset of major construction companies in Korea. Market Capitalization Method(MCM) was used to calculate intangible assets and all data are based on Annual Business Report.

According to construction of global administration environment, all over the world was ended up in infinite competition period. Because eating out company also competes with another company, it must enjoy competitive power high position to secure high position continuously, classified by formation constituent's individuation and two aspects of organic special quality by the factor. As the government announced Real Estate Policies on August 02, most areas except for Seoul cities face increasing business risks. Moreover, the government control over financial sectors' loan leads to the highly possible contraction of new distribution markets. The market trend could bring about the reduction of new demand in PF (Private Financing) business that large construction companies mainly concentrate on, and even the business already obtained has a high risk of being distributed, which could result in substantially low profitability. The currently unstable financial structure of most construction companies is caused by the hike of the prime cost of foreign plants except for that of a few construction companies. If PF (Private Financing) business also faces a difficult situation in such a financial condition, even large construction companies come to have the high possibility of a deficiency in credit rating. Accordingly, the major business that large construction companies concentrate on needs the sufficient business review. It is desirable to make a bid for business guaranteeing stability rather than business solely in consideration of profitability, when participating in a competition for a new construction contract.

This case explains the demanded function of PDM and the detail implementation methodology for automotive company.

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the level of perception of domestic construction companies about the US & Korea FTA completed in 2007. According to the survey results, the more innovative the construction company is and the stronger ownership the construction company has, the more actively preparing for FTA. Altogether, our construction companies have well recognised the inevitable impacts on the domestic construction industry. On the other hand, most of them are more or less negative about whether or not the FTA gives us a good chance to switch from domestic companies into global companies.

The past IMF foreign exchange crisis and subprime financial crisis had a big influence on variability of macroeconomics, even if the origin of its occurrence might be different. This not only had a significant infrequence on the overall industries, but also produced many insolvent companies by being closely linked with a management environment of an individual construction company leading the construction industry. Actually, the level of default risk of construction companies before and after fluctuation of macroeconomics gets to experience a rapid changing process, and a difference in reaction against shock exists according to each company. Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to confirm the fluctuation process of the default risk of construction companies under the fluctuation of macroeconomics such as the IMF financial crisis and the subprime mortgage crisis. As an analysis result, it is judged that the subprime financial crisis gave bigger shock to construction companies than the foreign exchange crisis, and it is expected that this would have a relation with the construction market before shock of macroeconomics. In addition, it was analyzed that when comparing insolvent companies with normal companies, the recovery speed of normal companies is faster. It is judged that this was affected by a difference of internal business capacity between insolvent companies and normal companies.

The whole of industry sectors are getting achieved BPR(Business process Reencountering) which innovate the inefficient product organization through examined the value chain. Besides, they try to integrate ERP, CRM, and SCM which is based on value chain. Construction Industry, however, not only is not regularized it but is not inadequacy about information mind. Nowadays Korean government lead the construction CALS, only some large company Innovate and restructure the organization and product structure. It Is necessary to efficient manage the project information and historical data and develop CIC/PMIS to transfer from the function based information-flow to the project based information-flow. The purpose of the Information management system's success In Korea, therefore, this paper analyzes the information-intensive problems and proves the device to achieve the Information Management System through the Standardization, Synchronization, Centralization for Construction Company.

In the early construction phase of the Korea Train Express (KTX), the Movable Scaffolding System (MSS) for the top structure of the bridge was the predominant construction method. But the method had to be changed due to arising problems and an alternative method had to be found. Company H that participated in Korea Train Express construction project achieved excellent results of performance through the introduction of the Precast Span Method (PSM), which has been previously successfully employed in foreign express train projects. This study intends to verify the superior performance of PSM over MSS in the KTX construction process by conducting a comparative analysis on PMS and MSS based on the field experience of company H. This study will not only help to understand PSM, which is expected to expand its future scope of application, but also contribute to solve the problems of PSM that occurred during the construction phase.

Recently, it has been an issue on BPM(Business Process Management, below BPM), which is a sort of business management methods that secures agility and flexibility through sustainable improving and monitoring in a rapid-changing environment. To introduce BPM to construction company we need to set up a procedure for objective, define criteria according to the business structure defined by BPA(Business Process Architecture, below BPA) and analyze works and then select targets. Those BPM target works need to have a close relationship with corporate strategy and to support realizing corporate value. Therefore, this paper will study BPM Target works of construction companies for an effective introduction BPM through questioning from working-level staff. In addition, it will analyze their types and corporate core strategy and BPM target works, then study the main strategy according to BPM target types. And also, this study is expected to help construction companies to choose the business for BPM adoption through analyzing current situation and strategy for business selection when adopting BPM.
