CFD 시뮬레이션을 이용한 건축물 및 녹지배치가 외부 열환경에 미치는 영향 예측 (Prediction of Effect on Outside Thermal Environment of Building and Green Space Arrangement by Computational Fluid Dynamic)

  • This study forecasts changes in thermal environment and microclimate change per new building construction and assignment of green space in urban area using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) simulation. The analysis studies temperature, humidity and wind speed changes in 4 different given conditions that each reflects; 1) new building construction; 2) no new building construction; 3) green spaces; and 4) no green spaces. Daily average wind speed change is studied to be; Case 2(2.3 m/s) > Case 3. The result of daily average temperate change are; Case 3($26.5^{\circ}C$) > Case 4($24.6^{\circ}C$) > Case 2($23.9^{\circ}C$). This result depicts average of $2.5^{\circ}C$ temperature rise post new building construction, and decrease of approximately $1.8^{\circ}C$ when green space is provided. Daily average absolute humidity change is analysed to be; Case 3(15.8 g/kg') > Case 4(14.1 g/kg') > Case 2(13.5 g/kg'). This also reveals that when no green spaces is provided, 2.3 g/kg' of humidity change occurs, and when green space is provided, 0.6 g/kg change occurnd 4(1.8 m/s), which leads to a conclusion that daily average wind velocity is reduced by 0.5 m/s per new building construction in a building complex.

  • This paper presents a study regarding a construction of the slide cases through the useful and practical design using presentation tool-Microsoft Powerpoint, which can offer to the person in charge with more useful and practical information for the construction of the slide cases. In this study, Presentation program is used to construct case in the slides. The results of this study may be summarized as follows : First, it is possible to construct useful and practical case in the slides with presentation program. Second, this study proposes directions for the construction of slides with presentation program.

사례기반추론 기법을 이용한 교량 공사비 추론 모형 구축 (Development of an Approximate Cost Estimating Model for Bridge Construction Project using CBR Method)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 선형적인 공사비 예측방법의 한계를 극복하고 사례기반추론 (Case Based Reasoning, CBR)기법을 통해 기획단계의 실적정보를 활용하여 신뢰도 높은 공사비 예측 모델을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 사례기반추론 기법과 유전자알고리즘 (Genetic Algorithm, GA)의 선택연산을 복합적으로 활용한 스프레드시트 기반의 교량공사비 추론모델을 제시하였다. 추론모델의 검증을 위하여 국내 교량공사 시공사례 4건을 적용하였으며, 적용 결과 평균 8.69%의 오차율로 나타나 교량공사비의 예측 정확도가 타 분석방법과 비교하여 상대적으로 높은 것으로 파악하였다. 연구에서 제시된 교량공사비 예측모델은 초기 설계단계에서 상세제원에 대한 정보를 획득할 수 없을 경우에, 교량의 대표적 제원정보 만으로 공사비 선택범위를 최소화된 오차율로 예측할 수 있으므로, 개선된 보정 방법으로서 교량공사의 합리적인 개략공사비 산정에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

재시공발생에 따른 적정계약공기 및 적정출력인원 추정에 관한 사례조사 및 분석 (A Case Study and Analysis on Reasonable Construction Period and Appropriate Number of Persons for Works According to Reconstruction)

  • 재시공 발생에 따른 계약단계에서의 적정계약공기와 적정투입인원을 추정하고자 한 본 연구는 아파트 RC공사 현장사례를 대상으로 계약금액, 계약기간, 재시공발생현황을 조사하였으며, 이를 토대로 재시공발생에 따른 적정계약공기 및 적정출력인원을 추정하였다. 이와 같은 절차 및 방법에 따라 수행된 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 각 사례규모별 적정계약공기 및 적정출력인원 첫째, 아파트 4동 규모(계약금액 40억$\pm5\%$)인 경우에서의 적정계약공기는 750일 이상 $\~$800일 미만으로 조사되었으며, 적정계약공기를 기준으로 한 1일 적정 출력인원은 63.5명으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아파트 8동 규모(계약금액 78억$\pm5\%$)인 경우에서의 적정계약공기는 850일 이상 $\~$900일 미만으로 조사되었으며, 적정계약공기를 기준으로 한 1일 적정 출력인원은 100.6명으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아파트 12동 규모(계약금액 115억$\pm5\%$)인 경우에서의 적정계약공기는 1000일 이상 $\~$1050일 미만으로 조사되었으며, 적정계약공기를 기준으로 한 1일 적정 출력인원은 145.0명으로 나타났다.

EVALUATION OF SUSTAINABILITY OF CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS: A FRAMEWORK FOR THE NEW ZEALAND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

  • The concepts of 'sustainable development', 'sustainable construction' and 'green building' have been elevated to priority levels in all types and phases of construction project development worldwide. Consultants and contractors are now required to seriously consider the impact of their operations on the natural environment and the society, and consequently adopt sustainable construction practices in the development process to minimize and mitigate the negative impacts of their activities. However, existing sustainability rating tools apply to the design, post-construction and operation phases of a building; no tool exists for the rating of the performance of the contractor or the project team at the construction phase. This study aimed to develop a model for evaluating the sustainability of construction operations, drawing on the global best practice standards on sustainability. Practical applications of the model were carried out through case studies to evaluate the performances of fifteen construction firms in New Zealand. The developed model and the outcomes of the case studies were presented, including potential areas of weaknesses, strengths, constraints to achievement or adoption of sustainable construction practices and areas for improvement in the operations of the firms. The successful application of the developed model in practice shows its usefulness and ease of application. It is therefore recommended for adoption as a simple but effective system for measuring and reporting on sustainability performance or sustainability of construction operations of firms in New Zealand and elsewhere.

  • In construction industry, management of construction factors such as cost, schedule, quality and safety is the most important key for delivering successful projects. According to the Smart Market Report, a magazine specialized in construction industry, recently said 'Off-site Prefabrication' is a significant trend related with construction productivity in global construction industry. It is a kind of practice shift from On-site to Off-site. A lot of general contractors in oversea have been using 'Multi-trade MEP Ceiling Rack Prefabrication' method for getting benefits such as decreased cost & schedule and increased labor productivity. Thus, in this paper, critical management factors at each phase from design to installation was derived by researching case studies. Forwardly, it can be a basic guideline for applying Multi-trade MEP Ceiling Rack Prefabrication in Korea construction industry.

  • Value Engineering(VE) process is going to make a series of improvements for the effective construction project management or optimal proposal to improve quality, performance improvement, cost reduction and customer satisfaction. For making the quality model based on better than the architecture that is required in the VE, such a project promoting creative plan, functionality and constructability reflecting the materials and improved construction methods and building life cycle for reviewing the smooth progress of the construction projects may be necessary for management techniques. This study is to establish a management plan in the educational facilities construction process through education institution's recent orders completed by VE case study.

  • 본 연구에서는 종래 건설 프로세스 상의 한계점을 분석한 후, 그 개선방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 개선방안은 설계도서의 철저한 사전검토를 통한 협력 업체의 공정계획 조기참여 방안이다. 이를 통해서 커뮤니케이션이 활성화되어 사전의견조정의 극대화를 확보할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 데크플레이트 설치 프로세스와 덕트 설치 프로세스를 대상으로 사례연구를 수행하였다. 사례연구 결과, 협력업체의 조기투입과 설계도서 사전 검토를 통하여 체계적으로 건설 프로세스를 개선할 수 있었고, 구성원들의 사전의견조정을 통하여 건설생산 효율성을 제고할 수 있었다.

Structural Work Duration Estimation and Analysis of Tower-Type Residential Construction Project

  • In order to shorten construction duration in high-rise project, construction company tried to make various system method toward simplifying construction method and shortening construction duration. Though high-rise tower-type residential project are growing, there are few case study. Then, the data for preliminary schedule planning in high-rise tower-type residential project are rare. This purpose of research shows construction method in structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project, suggests schedule planning in structural work through case studies. The structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project was divided 1) completion of form in lower part and 2) the typical floor under penthouse. The statistical analysis were done in two parts, the data from analysis were used in simulation. Finally, researcher confirmed the difference between real construction duration and the figure from simulation. The results shows that the more construction duration is long, the less ACS's cost is low. It means the effectiveness is increasing in ACS, if the floor number is high.

Factors Affecting Firm Performance: A Case Study of the Construction and Real Estate Sector in Vietnam

  • The construction and real estate industries contribute significantly to each country's economic development. Strong construction and real estate firms will contribute more to the country's GDP by contributing to the industry's development. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence the performance of the construction and real estate sectors in Vietnam. A survey of 200 construction and real estate firms in different areas was conducted from 2020 until the end of 2021. Following the removal of errors, the author got 196 replies, 6 of which were invalid, leaving 190 votes for quantitative analysis. The research findings show that elements such as (1) senior executives' commitment to the organization, and (2) the ability to use technology have a positive and significant impact on firm performance when using advanced econometric analysis. Furthermore, in the case of Hanoi, Vietnam, business relationships have a positive impact on firm performance. Training and development, as well as the working environment and incentives, have little effect on the profitability of construction and real estate firms. Finally, the research also has some recommendations and limitations for the construction and real estate sector.
