Most model constructs in organization studies are descriptive in nature, and the conclusions relating to the model behavior over time are speculative. The usefulness of System Dynamics as a methodology for modeling and testing dynamic behavioral hypotheses in organizational behavioral studies is presented, and how to construct a System Dynamics model using simulation software(VENSIM) is shown, The well-know March and Simon motivation model is used to demonstrate the step by step application of System Dynamics to model of this type. The dynamic behavior of the model, both transient and steady state, is obtained, Even though the paper has focused on one model in the area of individual behavior, the approach is general and can be applied to other areas of organizational behavior as will. The usefulness of System Dynamics as a methodology for theory building is identified as well.

This paper presents a novel control methodology for communication network based nonlinear systems with time delay nature. We construct a nominal nonlinear control law for representing a linear model and a reset control system which is aimed for corrective control strategy to compensate system error due to uncertain time delay through wireless communication network. Next, online neural control approach is proposed for overcoming nonstationary statistical nature in the network topology. Additionally, DBN (Dynamic Bayesian Network) technique is accomplished for modeling of its dynamics in terms of casuality, which is then utilized for estimating prediction of system output. We evaluate superiority and reliability of the proposed control approach through numerical simulation example in which a nonlinear inverted pendulum model is employed as a networked control system.

3D spatial-modeling can be used in various safety-enhancement applications and for as-built data acquisition in project-control systems. The objective of the research reported herein was to provide spatial-modeling methods that represent construction sites in an efficient manner and to validate the proposed methods by testing them in an actual construction environment. Algorithms to construct construction-site scenes and to carry out coordinate transformations in order to merge data from different acquisition locations are presented. Field experiments were conducted to establish performance parameters and validation for the proposed methods and models. Initial experimental work has demonstrated the feasibility of this approach.

Job love is an emerging phenomenon, which is the utmost approach to fulfilling employees' and organizations' mutual interests, especially performance. The current study aims to define and extend the existing proposed construct of "loving one's job" as job love. It provides a novel theoretical multi-level framework of job love, contextual factors, and performance principled on the attraction-selection-attrition framework and social exchange theory through an integrated approach. This study collected cross-sectional data through a questionnaire from 332 nurses across eight tertiary hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The findings are based on the structural equation modeling technique (SEM) at multi-levels. The results show significant relationships between job love, contextual factors, and performance at the individual and organization levels. There are some insignificant relationships between the variables at the cross-level. Job love plays a key role for both employees and organizations. It facilitates the individuals in the recruitment process to select the job they love, be a good fit, and stay committed to that particular job and organization. This phenomenon allows people to pursue their common interests. Job love assists firms in developing human resource capacity utilization plans that satisfy the needed requirements.
This study aims to develop an approach to construct IWSDB for National Defense CALS. Along with the introduction of Korean version of CALS conception, it is essential to analyze the national defense system with a new information technology for the construction of IWSDB. A long-tenn goal of CALS is to construct fully Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and establish IWSDB for the application of CALS conception to the life cycle management of weapon system. IWSDB is a set of databases that contain digital data. It supports common interface of data objects and databases throughout the life cycle management of weapon system, including design, engineering, analysis, manufacturing, operation, and logistics. etc. The goal of this study is threefold. First, we propose a right direction for the establishment of Integrated Data Environment. For the integrated database technology, we use the five schema architecture and the distributed object oriented technology that will lead to the "share of data." Second, we present the most effective IWSDB architecture for defense CALS, which will provide the efficient data sharing by business process modeling. Third, we suggest that IWSDB should be constructed based on the process which is related to the acquisition and logistics of weapon system for the national defense, and at the same time it should be implemented with GITIS for government agencies and CITIS for the industries in order to obtain the efficient data sharing.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors determining users' acceptance of individualized virtual community. While there has been considerable research on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) that has predicted whether individuals will accept and voluntarily use information systems, limitations of the TAM include the omission of an important characteristics of individual construct in the context of individualized community. Based on literature relating to the theory of reasoned action (TRA), the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and the TAM, this study extends the applicability of the TAM in a individualized community context, by adding characteristics of individual-based construct ("subjective norm", "self-efficacy", "self-presentation" and "sharing information to exchange various information") to the model. Analysis was conducted on using the structural equation modeling approach. The result supports the extended TAM in predicting users' intentions to using personalized community. Several implications for IT/IS acceptance research and individualized community service management practices are discussed.

This research aims to construct a model that combines brand love, brand loyalty, brand image, customer satisfaction, and service quality into a single model, with brand loyalty coming foremost, and test its predictive power in building brand love. Moreover, mediating effect of customer satisfaction and brand image on service quality and brand loyalty affecting brand love was checked. The study adopted an alliance context using an existing SERVQUAL model, a bi-dimensional aspect of brand loyalty and parasocial love relationship theory, to identify brand love as a construct or outcome in the consumer-brand relationship. Using a quantitative approach, survey questionnaires were distributed by unrestricted random sampling among 507 Saudia Airlines customers. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.0. The results revealed significant relationships between four variables except for the brand image. It was found that brand image had no mediating effect on the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. The outcome of this study highlights the importance of airline alliances for service quality, which leads to positive customer satisfaction, brand image, and customer loyalty. A unique contribution of the study is that it revealed that brand loyalty is also an antecedent of brand love.
In this paper a methodology of identifying individual pipes according to the internal and external characteristics of pipe is developed, and the methodology is applied to a case study water distribution pipe break database. Using the newly defined individual pipes the hazard rates of the cast iron 6 inch pipes are modeled by implementing the proportional hazards modeling approach for consecutive pipe failures. The covariates to be considered in the modeling procedures are selected by considering the general availability of the data and the practical applicability of the modeling results. The individual cast iron 6 inch pipes are categorized into seven ordered survival time groups according to the total number of breaks recorded in a pipe to construct distinct proportional hazard model (PHM) for each survival time group (STG). The modeling results show that all of the PHMs have the hazard rate forms of the Weibull distribution. In addition, the estimated baseline survivor functions show that the survival probabilities of the STGs generally decrease as the number of break increases. It is found that STG I has an increasing hazard rate whereas the other STGs have decreasing hazard rates. Regarding the first failure the hazard ratio of spun-rigid and spun-flex cast iron pipes to pit cast iron pipes is estimated as 1.8 and 6.3, respectively. For the second or more failures the relative effects of pipe material/joint type on failure were not conclusive. The degree of land development affected pipe failure for STGs I, II, and V, and the average hazard ratio was estimated as 1.8. The effects of length on failure decreased as more breaks occur and the population in a GRID affected the hazard rate of the first pipe failure.

Around the world, there is an increasing interest in Digital Twin cities. Although geospatial data is critical for building a digital twin city, currently-established spatial data cannot be used directly for its implementation. Integration of geospatial data is vital in order to construct and simulate the virtual space. Existing studies for data integration have focused on data transformation. The conversion method is fundamental and convenient, but the information loss during this process remains a limitation. With this, standardization of the data model is an approach to solve the integration problem while hurdling conversion limitations. However, the standardization within indoor space data models is still insufficient compared to 3D building and city models. Therefore, in this study, we present a comparative analysis of data models commonly used in indoor space modeling as a basis for establishing a generic indoor space feature model. By comparing five models of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes), CityGML (City Geographic Markup Language), AIIM (ArcGIS Indoors Information Model), IMDF (Indoor Mapping Data Format), and OmniClass, we identify essential elements for modeling indoor space and the feature classes commonly included in the models. The proposed generic model can serve as a basis for developing further indoor feature models through specifying minimum required structure and feature classes.
In this paper, we deal with an enhanced index fund strategy by implementing the exchange trade funds (ETFs) within the context of the Black-Litterman approach. The KOSPI200 index ETF is used to build risk-controlled portfolio that tracks the benchmark index, while the proposed Black-Litterman model mitigates estimation errors in incorporating both active investment views and equilibrium views. First, we construct a Black-Litterman model portfolio with the active market perspective based on the momentum strategy. Then, we update the portfolio with the KOSPI200 index ETF by using the equilibrium return ratio and weighted averages, while devising optimization modeling for improving the information ratio (IR) of the portfolio. Finally, we demonstrate the empirical viability of the proposed enhanced index strategies with KOSPI 200 data.
