Background: This study aimed to research on how adherence and blood control could make a difference when it comes to develop complications. Methods: The study's subjects were 255,916 patients who were newly diagnosed with hypertension in 2009 using data collected by National Health Insurance Cooperation. Patients are considered as a group under adherence if visit days and prescription days are more than 300 days. Patients are considered to have successfully controled their hypertension based on actual value measured by National Health Insurance Cooperation and the study takes a look at whether they were diagnosed with complications of cerebrocardiovascular disease in 2012. Chi-square test and logistic regression was used to analyze. Results: Patients who were able to control their hypertension show 0.80 times chance of developing cerebrovascular disease, and 0.89 times chance of developing cardiocerebrovascular disease. The group of adherence shows lower chance of developing complication in general than the group of non-adherence. Conclusion: The study revealed that hypertension's constant treatment could control the blood pressure and prevent complications. It is important that encourages patients to effort for persistent treatment for reducing complication.

In this paper, the experimental equipments for ventilated supercavitation in cavitation tunnel is constructed and the basic data of ventilated supercavitation regard to the entrainment coefficient and Froude number is fulfilled. The experiments are conducted for the disk cavitator with injecting air and the pressure inside cavity and the shape of cavity are measured. As the entrainment coefficient increases while the Froude number is kept constant, the ventilated cavitation number decreases to a minimum value which decreases no more even with increasing the air entrainment. The minimum value of ventilated cavitation number, caused by the blockage effect, decreases according to increasing the diameter ratio of test section to cavitator. The cavity length is rapidly enlarged near the minimum cavitation number. In low Froude numbers, the cavity tail is floating up due to buoyancy and the air inside the cavity is evacuated from its rear end with twin-vortex hollow tubes. However, in high Froude numbers, the buoyancy effect is almost negligible and there is no more twin-vortex tubes so that the cavity shape becomes close to axisymmetric. In order to measure the cavity length and width, the two methods, which are to be based on the cavity shapes and the maximum width of cavity, are applied. As the entrainment coefficient increases after the ventilated cavitation number gets down to the minimum cavitation number, the cavity length still increases gradually. These phenomenon can be confirmed by the measurement using the method based on the cavity shapes. On the other hand, when the method based on the maximum width of cavity is used, the length and width of the cavity agree well with a semi-empirical formular of natural cavity. So the method based on the maximum width of cavity can be a valid method for cavitator design.

A subsea pipeline for oil/gas transportation or gas injection is subjected to extreme variations in internal pressure and temperature, which can involve a strain rate effect on the pipeline material. This paper describes the flow stress characteristics of a pipeline material called API 5L X52N PSL2, using and experimental approach. High-speed tensile tests were carried out for two metal samples taken from the base and weld parts. The target temperature was 100℃, but two other temperature levels of –20℃and 0℃ were taken into account. Three strain rates were also considered for each temperature level: quasi static, 1/s, and 10/s. Flow stress data were proposed for each temperature level according to these strain rates. The dynamic hardening behaviors of the base and weld metals appeared to be nonlinear on the log-scale strain rate axis. A very high material constant value was required for the Cowper-Symonds constitutive equation to support the experimental results.

New diesel engines equipped with common-rail injection systems and advanced engine management control allow drastic decreases in the production of particulate matters and nitrogen oxides with a significant advantage in terms of the fuel consumption and $CO_2$ emissions. Nevertheless, the contribution of exhaust gas after treatment in the ultra low emission vehicles conception has become unavoidable today. Recently the passive type DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter Trap) system for diesel passenger vehicle has been manufactured into mass production from a French automotive maker since the year of 2000. This passive DPF system fully relies on the catalytic effects from additives blended into the diesel fuel and additives injected into the DPF system. In this study, the effects of PM regeneration in the commercial diesel passenger vehicle with the passive type DPF system were investigated in chassis dynamometer CVS(constant volume sampler)-75 mode. As shown in this experimental results, the DPF regeneration was observed at temperature as low as $350^{\circ}C$. And the engine-controlled the DPF regeneration founded to be one of the most promising regeneration technologies. Moreover, the durability of this DPF system was evaluated with a season weather in terms of the differential pressure and exhaust gas temperature traces from a road test during the total mileage of 80,000km.
The recovery of copper from $\alpha$-Etchent waste and pure copper solution was studied by the $H_2$reduction process. The results of test were as following: 1) The recovery of copper was increased with increasing hydrogen pressure and stirring speed up to 300 psi and 500 rpm, respectively, and was decreased in the higher values. But the recovery of copper from the fresh copper solution and $\alpha$-Etchent solution reached 90% and 60%, respectively. And in all tests the copper recovery from pure copper solution is higher by 30~40% than that from $\alpha$Etchent solution. 2) The recovery of copper was increased up to 30 minute of reaction time, and after then it became constant. The copper particles prepared in the initial 30 min have the needle-like shapes and in the longer reaction time than 30 min the shape was changed into noudle-like form. The average particle size was about $2~3\mu\textrm{m}$.
Various manufacturing technologies, including over-molding and insert-injection molding, are used to produce hybrid plastics and metals. However, there are disadvantages to these technologies, as they require several steps in manufacturing and are limited to what can be reasonably achieved within the complexities of part geometry. This study aims to determine a practical approach for producing metal/plastic hybrid components by combining plastic injection molding and metal die casting to create a new hybrid metal/plastic molding process. The integrated metal/plastic hybrid injection molding process developed in this study uses the proven method of multi-component technology as a basis to combine plastic injection molding with metal die casting into one integrated process. In this study, the electrical conductivity and ampacity were verified to qualify the new process for the production of parts used in electronic devices. The electrical conductivity was measured, contacting both sides of the test sample with constant pressure, and the resistivity was measured using a micro ohmmeter. Also, the specific conductivity was subsequently calculated from the resistivity and contact surface of the conductor path. The ampacity defines the maximum amount of current a conductive path can carry before sustaining immediate or progressive deterioration. The manufactured hybrid multi-components were loaded with increasing currents, while the temperature was recorded with an infrared camera. To compare the measured infrared images, an electro-thermal simulation was conducted using commercial CAE software to predict the maximum temperature of the power loaded parts. Overall, during the injection molding process, it was demonstrated that multifunctional parts can be produced for electric and electronic applications.

Water pipes are laid on the ground, making it impossible to visually detect leaks due to aging of pipes, and technology to detect leaks in pipes is mainly used to detect leaks in pipes by detecting leaks. In this paper, two accelerometers were attached to both ends of the constant water piping to calculate the time difference between the acquired data to detect leakage points. The leak test of piping was performed by installing valves at 4.3m, 8.6m, and 12.9m points on piping 17.2m, and changing the development rate of valves to 30% and 70%. Leakage can be detected for pressure drop in piping, which is 30% and 70% open valve. It is very important to detect leakage in the early stage, and it is judged that detection of the initial leak point from the algorithm applied in this paper will be possible.

PURPOSES : The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of an active noise cancellation (ANC) system in reducing the traffic noise level against frequencies from the predictive model developed by previous research. The predictive model is based on ISO 9613-2 standards using the Noble close proximity (NCPX) method and the pass-by method. This means that the use of these standards is a powerful tool for analyzing the traffic noise level because of the strengths of these methods. Traffic noise analysis was performed based on digital signal processing (DSP) for detecting traffic noise with the pass-by method at the test site. METHODS : There are several analysis methods, which are generally divided into three different types, available to evaluate traffic noise predictive models. The first method uses the classification standard of 12 vehicle types. The second method is based on a standard of four vehicle types. The third method is founded on 5 types of vehicles, which are different from the types used by the second method. This means that the second method not only consolidates 12 vehicle types into only four types, but also that the results of the noise analysis of the total traffic volume are reflected in a comparison analysis of the three types of methods. The constant percent bandwidth (CPB) analysis was used to identify the properties of different frequencies in the frequency analysis. A-weighting was applied to the DSP and to the transformation process from analog to digital signal. The root mean squared error (RMSE) was applied to compare and evaluate the predictive model results of the three analysis methods. RESULTS : The result derived from the third method, based on the classification standard of 5 vehicle types, shows the smallest values of RMSE and max and min error. However, it does not have the reduction properties of a predictive model. To evaluate the predictive model of an ANC system, a reduction analysis of the total sound pressure level (TSPL), dB(A), was conducted. As a result, the analysis based on the third method has the smallest value of RMSE and max error. The effect of traffic noise reduction was the greatest value of the types of analysis in this research. CONCLUSIONS : From the results of the error analysis, the application method for categorizing vehicle types related to the 12-vehicle classification based on previous research is appropriate to the ANC system. However, the performance of a predictive model on an ANC system is up to a value of traffic noise reduction. By the same token, the most appropriate method that influences the maximum reduction effect is found in the third method of traffic analysis. This method has a value of traffic noise reduction of 31.28 dB(A). In conclusion, research for detecting the friction noise between a tire and the road surface for the 12 vehicle types needs to be conducted to authentically demonstrate an ANC system in the Republic of Korea.
Modern technological progress demands the use of materials at high temperature and high pressure. One of the most critical factors in considering such applications - perhaps the most critical one - is creep behavior. In this study the stress exponents n were determined during creep over the temperature range of $90^{\circ}C\;to\;500^{\circ}C$ (0.4 - 0.85 Tm) and stress range of 0.64 kgt/$mm^2$ in order to investigate the creep hehavior. The stress dependence of rapture time (n') were determined over the temperature range of $200^{\circ}C\;to\;240^{\circ}C$ and stress range of 8.13 kgt/$mm^2$ to 9.55 kgt/$mm^2$ in order to investigate to creep rupture property. And the stress transient dip tests were also carried out for the internal stress ${\sigma}i$ over the temperature range of $90^{\circ}C\;to\;500^{\circ}C$ and stress range of 0.64kgt/$mm^2$ to 17.2 kgt/$mm^2$. The creep tests for constant temperature and stress transient dip tests were conducted in air with Al 7075 alloy under constant tensile load. At around the temperature range $200^[\circ}C\;-\;230^{\circ}C$ and the stress level 8.13 - 9.55 (kgt/$mm^2$), the temperature range $280^{\circ}C\;-\;310^{\circ}C$ and the stress level 1.85 - 2.55 (kgt/$mm^2$), the temperature range $380^{\circ}C\;-\;410^{\circ}C$ and the stress 1.53 - 0.91 (kgt/$mm^2$), the stress exponent in had the value of 6.2 - 6.65 but at around the temperature range $90^{\circ}C\;-\;120^{\circ}C$ and the stress level 10 - 17.2(kgt/$mm^2$), the value of 1.3, and at around the temperature range $470^{\circ}C\;-\;500^{\circ}C$, the stress level 0.62 - 1.02 (kgt/$mm^2$) the value of 1-1. Besides these results, at around the temperature $200^{\circ}C\;-\;240^{\circ}C$ the stress dependence of rupture time (n') had the value of 6.3. Finally, it was found that the value n calculated by considering the applied stress dependence of the internal stress were in good agreement with those obtained for the creep test. Then, it was concluded that the change in n was mainly attributed to the difference of the applied stress dependence of the internal stress and the ratio of the internal stress to the applied stress, and the creep rupture life may be represented as.
