This study aims to recognize the value of traditional culture and to create 'Korean style rest costume' i.e. in-door clothes for comfort's purpose designed for hotel or other tourist accommodations with its own image. In so doing, national pride and identity will be exalted for Koreans, while an opportunity of cultural expose will be provided for foreigners through the symbols of Korea, which will contribute to the international introduction and representation of Korea. First, this study investigates the external characteristics in forms and structures of Korean style rest costume. Second, questionnaires regarding consciousness of Korean style rest costume and preference in design are distributed to the hotel guest and staff-both domestic and international- to be fir out. Lastly, designed rest costume representing Korean image, based on the results of the survey. Upon investigation, users and employers both preferred two piece style which is separated to upper garment and lower garment. While employers preferred short sleeve, users preferred long sleeves. In colors, employers preferred blue while users preferred white. In garments, both of. the employers and users preferred cotton, towel and cotton flannel. In addition, when introducing rest costume, it will be efficient to distinct the strategy between natives and foreigners, and also distinguish where the rest costume will be used.

As remodeling market is growing and peoples' concern on health and well-being is getting high, there is a need to apply environmentally friendly approach to remodeling an interior space. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide basic information on environmentally friendly remodeling process focused on the implementation of interior construction process. The method of this study was two-folds. First, previous researches were reviewed to drive general remodeling process, and then content of implementation of environmentally friendly remodeling process were added. Second, semi-structured interview was conducted to eight experts in interior design who were members of KOSID. The results of this study are as follows; (1) Applying environmentally friendly method to remodeling will be essential. Therefore, it is necessary to develop various types of environmentally friendly finish materials and methods and continuing attention should be paid. (2) For broad implementing an environmentally friendly application on remodeling, builders, interior designers, manufacturers, and clients should change their consciousness through education and publicity, (3) The results showed that using environmentally friendly materials was the most primary concern for the designers. However, there is a lack of information about contamination derived from materials when manufacturing and constructing and even wastes. Thus designers should be aware of using environmentally friendly verified materials regarding materials itself and its manufacturing process.

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of allergic diseases associated with the housing environment and the psychological attitude of residents towards relevant risk factors. This study surveyed 1,200 people. In the first round, 200 participants were questioned through direct survey methods, while 1,000 participants filled out an online survey in the second round. Selected study subjects consisted of allergic diseases known to be closely related to housing environment factors. With advice from medical experts, the analysis included the examination of the prevalence status regarding five types of allergy-related diseases-allergic conjunctivitis, allergic rhinitis, allergic dermatitis, asthma and headache-with the range of disease incidence set within the past ten years. The survey was conducted on all age groups except those nine years old and younger, and the findings are as follows. Allergic diseases were found to be more prevalent among women than men. Residents identified effective methods for the alleviation and treatment of allergic diseases as ventilation, use of environmentally-friendly finishing materials, maintenance of a clean living space through cleaning or washing, and sunlight exposure. Residents' understanding of allergic diseases varied depending on their experience with such diseases and residential characteristics.

This paper seeks to survey and analyze the status of obligatory execution from key institutional aspects that have taken effect according to laws on creating safe environment for laboratory and of general details such as the level of satisfaction on the part of people engaged in research activity regarding the laws after they have taken effect. The subjects of this study were MA and PhD graduate students in science and engineering who are primarily involved in research. This questionnaire survey was focused on finding basic data required for safety education for researcher and for efficient safety management by examining the correlation between education time and level of satisfaction. The collected data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, one way anova by SPSS12 package. The results obtained by this study are as follow. 1) Awarences of safety management rules, ordinary inspection, safety education were around 70% and other law clauses were around 50%. 2) The general satisfaction after the Laboratory Safety Act enforcement was usual level with 4.72 points in 7. 3) Researchers demanded ordinary inspection and protective equipment in a safe environmental composition. 4) The safety education time for improvement of a safe consciousness level was needed 12h or 24h at 1 years.

Establishing a renewal plan and practical use of Jungam temple, which exists natural monuments, including national treasures and Gangwondo cultural materials, at Jungseon is as important as anything else. To discuss the renewal plan and the practical use of Jungam temple, this thesis is composed with the next series of processes. First, this thesis presents examining a relationship between Jajang, who was a buddhist monk and caused a departure point of foundation of the temple, and Jungam temple is necessary; thus, the relationship of his architectural consciousness and Jungam temple was showed in this thesis. Second, this thesis demonstrates present conditions for extant facilities and features of the space structure for Jungam temple to look into architectural characteristics of Jungam temple. Third, this thesis shows preservation of Jungam temple because this temple is the historic cultural resource; in addition, this thesis explains restoring of lost elements for points, repairing shipments regarding the whole area of preservation targets, expansion of the area nearby historic cultural resources to make plans for maintaining Jungam temple. Finally, this thesis concludes the final result of Jungam temple to work towards becoming the contemporarily historic cultural resource by designating Jungam temple as the historic site and suggesting energization by public participation and experience programs to continuously manage Jungam temple.

This paper examined the utilization pattern of aroma-therapy and relating factors after visiting about 100 skin-care shops registered to the Central Estheticism's Association in Daegu.Kyungbuk areas, in 200. This questionnaire survey was put into practice from September 1st to September 30th, 2003 for one month, study subjects were 643 skin-care-shop users. As for the experience of Aroma-use. while 85.4% of respondents experienced Aroma-use or has been using Aromat, 14.6% had no experience of Aroma-use. As for average frequency of Aroma-use, 32.8% used Aroma one time a week,23.7% everyday, 20.4% one time a month, 12.0% 3 times a week, 11.1% 2 times a week. As for the route of getting information on aroma, 49.5% of Aroma users got the information in skin-care-shop, 28.6% from mass-media such as internet, TV, newspaper, magazine. Regarding the type of preference aromas, 65.4% answered Lavender, 35.3% Rosemary, 35.2% Peppermint, 25.5% Rose, 23.7% Tea tree, 21.1% Jasmin, 19.5% Lemon. As for purposes of Aroma-use, 36.8% answered problematic-skin-control & fatness-control, 33.5% stress-relaxation, 14.8% physical-symptom-relaxation, 12.4% muscle-relaxation, 2.6% other purposes.

A food allergy is described an adverse immunological reaction to a food item. It is increasingly common problem among infants, children, teenagers, and adults worldwide. This study examines food allergy knowledge, attitudes, practices, and health consciousness among college students studying food and nutrition and childhood education. A total of 235 food and nutrition and childhood education college students participated in the survey. According to the results, 41.3% of the respondents were aware of legal obligations associated labeling food items for food allergy; 14.0% were diagnosed with food allergy by their doctor; and 10.2% knew about food allergy symptoms. Food and nutrition students were more knowledgeable than childhood education students. The mean for food allergy attitudes was 4.22, and the score for food and nutrition students was higher than that for childhood education students. The mean for food allergy behaviors was 2.16, and the score of food and nutrition students was higher than that of childhood education students. The importance of food allergens was significantly higher than performance. These results suggest that, to improve the management of food allergies in foodservice operations, education programs regarding food allergies should be provided food and nutrition and childhood education students.

Purpose - Ethical management connects corporate management outcomes and emphasizes organizational cooperation. It also links human resource management, auditing, and financial management to increase employee job satisfaction. A survey of American enterprises showed that employees with high ethical consciousness had greater job satisfaction and lower turnover. Research design, data, and methodology - Hypotheses and models based on previous studies were used to investigate the effects of ethical management on employee job satisfaction and turnover intentions. To examine hypotheses empirically, a questionnaire survey based on previous studies was administered to service business workers in Seoul. Results - The study investigated the effects of ethical management practices in relation to factors such as top management's willingness to put them into practice, their appropriateness and implementation within operations, and their influence on job satisfaction, and also examined the effects of job satisfaction on turnover intentions. Conclusions - Ethical management greatly influences job satisfaction and turnover intentions, providing organizational members with alternatives regarding ethical considerations, and to place a strong emphasis on management willingness and enterprise regulations and policies.

Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the individual and cross influences of age, gender, and severity on recovery of patients with brain injury. Methods: For the purpose of the study, traumatic or spontaneous brain injury patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) were conveniently selected. The data regarding outcomes were collected 3 months after admission. Results: Individual influences of the study variables on patients' recovery were significant, except for gender. But while the individual influence of gender on recovery was not significant, cross influence of gender and age was significant, but only for the sub-dimension of 'arousalbility and awareness'. The study results also showed that 3-way cross influence of gender, age, and severity was only significant on the sub-dimension of 'arousalbility and awareness'. Conclusion: The sub-dimension of recovery cross influenced by the demographic factors of gender and age, and severity was 'arousalbility and awareness'. This might indicate that the study variables that cross influencing recovery had more influence on consciousness compared to physical function and psycho-social adaptation.

스마트워치는 사용자가 착용하는 소형 스마트 기기로 연결성, 기능성 및 유용성을 위해 호스트 기기인 스마트폰과 페어링 과정을 필요로 한다. 페어링 과정 이후에는 사용자의 의식 없이도 스마트워치와 스마트폰 기기 간의 데이터 업데이트 및 백업 과정이 가능하며 스마트폰의 다양한 데이터가 복제되어 스마트워치로 넘어온다. 본 연구는 플랫폼별 스마트워치에 대해 스마트폰으로부터 복제되어 넘어오는 데이터를 사용 시점별로 추출 및 관찰하여 분석한다. 또한 스마트워치 사용자를 대상으로 실시한 보안관련 인식에 대한 설문조사를 바탕으로 데이터 추출 실험 결과에 따른 보안 및 개인 정보보호관점에서의 데이터별 위험도 평가를 수행하고 대응방안을 고찰한다.
