A survey was conducted to investigate consciousness of middle and high school students unsing fast food restaurants in Kwang-ju, from July 20 to August 20 in 1993. The results are follows; 1. There are many motives which drive students into fast food restaurants. Among those are its convenience as a place of meeting friends, pleasant and clean environment for eating, no time limit of staying there, hygiene of dining equipment and table ware. 2.The majority of the students used the fast food restaurants between 12:00 and 14:00 pm. It shows that time does not influence much on using there, because they answered in high percent that they use at any time. 3. Student usually pay individually and in some cases their friends or parents pay the bill. 4. Major factor in fast food selection was their tastes, nexts, were proper price, nutrition, and so on, They prefer their home food to restaurants fast foods. 5. The most of students have positive response to make traditional Korean foods into fast foods. The students, in particular, emphasized for the development of traditional Korean foods ; Sikhae and Sujonggwa(beverage), Docbokki, Japchae, kinds of rice cake and Jun. 6. Students suggested to be better fast food service, such as lowering the price, increasing the portion size and developing fast foods from the traditional Korean foods.
The objective of this research is to find out status and consciousness about shrouds according to changes of Jeju's rural funeral ritual while reviewing Jeju's traditional shrouds. Consciousness of customs regarding tradition is much stronger in Jeju Island. Since it was said that shrouds and changes of funeral ritual have very systematic correlation according to the result of precedent researches, changes of funeral rituals of Jeju's rural area were examined. At the same time, consciousness about traditional shrouds of Jeju people was also studied. As the result of examination through literary investigation, visits to rural homes, visits to production places of Jeju's shrouds and interviews with grandmothers designated as human cultural assets of traditional Jeju shrouds, etc, it was found out that Jeju's rural funeral rituals had been rapidly changed since 2000. Traditional Jeju shrouds are also disappearing. In particular, old women of Jeju have considered preparation of their own and their husbands' shrouds in advance as a virtue. However, as it gradually became more difficult to produce and prepare traditional shrouds at homes and as the space of funeral was changed from their own houses to hospitals and/or commercial funeral homes, it was found out that a ratio of people's using general shrouds sold in market was increased and it is believed that this kind of trend will be accelerated more and more in the future.
We developed a musical composition and performing method for the dynamic expression of food taste, to replace the static expression obtained from a numerical sensory score and linguistic method. The musical score was composed using cognitive food sensory data gathered while eating potato chips via a computer equipped with a sound card and a master keyboard, as well as Cakewalk 9.0, Goldwave 5.0, and Windows Media Player. The music score included four lines, one representing sensory data and three reflecting three layers of human consciousness. Different time units were applied by incorporating different repetition cycles for the relevant consciousness layers. The musical scores of individual subjects differed in terms of the score pattern and its sound. The music representing food taste was played by four instruments and showed different sound and acoustic frequency patterns for each individual subject during the consumption of potato chips. The musical expression method was applied to analyze the individual taste characteristics in the cognition of food.

Purpose: This study analyses the key variables that influence tourists' intention to re-participate in wellness tourism. To this end, a theoretical model is developed that is grounded in the theories of perceived value and perceived risk. Additionally, this study segments the market based on tourists' health consciousness and health status, examining the differences in the process of forming re-participation intentions. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: An online survey of 305 Japanese respondents was conducted, and the research model and hypotheses were validated using SmartPLS 4 and SPSS. Results: The findings illustrate that perceived functional, social, emotional, and epistemic values from previous wellness tourism experiences positively influence tourists' attitudes, whereas time risk negatively affects them. Furthermore, functional value and attitudes enhance re-participation intentions, whereas financial risk decrease them. Cluster analysis identified three groups: 'Health-Conscious but Unwell'; 'Not Health-Conscious and Unwell'; and 'Health-Conscious and Well'. Those who are 'Health-Conscious and Well' are more likely to re-participate if they are satisfied with the functional value of their wellness tourism experience. Conclusions: The findings of this study offer destination marketers and service providers valuable insights into how tourists form behavioural intentions and how to strategically allocate resources to maximise the potential of wellness tourism.

Purpose: This study was conducted to exam the effect of a biomedical ethics education program on the consciousness of biomedical ethics, moral sensitivity and critical thinking disposition in nursing students. Method: A quasi-experimental research design and repeated measured ANOVA were used. The participants were divided into an experimental group (n=148) and a control group (n=169). Each group underwent freshman university nursing training in two major cities. The mean age was 21.3 years and the time of providing the biomedical ethics education program was 15 hours for 15 weeks. The experimental group was provided biomedical ethics education during the semester; the control group was not provided any biomedical ethics education. Results: The consciousness of biomedical ethics was increased significantly in the experimental group (t=-4.724, p<.001). Moral sensitivity was increased significantly in the experimental group (t=-2.021, p<.004). Critical thinking disposition was increased significantly in the experimental group (t=-5.775, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of the study show that providing biomedical ethics education to nursing students is an effective method to increase the consciousness of biomedical ethics, moral sensitivity and critical thinking disposition.
Seizure can be categorized in various ways. Seizures are divided into those that are generalized and those affecting only part of the brain (focal seizure). Focal (partial) seizures are subdivided into simple seizures and complex seizures. Simple focal seizures may be manifested by focal motor, sensory or autonomic symptoms and consciousness is preserved. The above symptoms may be preceded, accompanied or followed by, and consciousness is impaired in, complex focal seizures. Ictal aphasia can arise from epileptiform discharge on cortical language areas. Generally next to the ictal aphasia, generalized seizures occur, but without losing consciousness, only aphasia takes place. A 61-year-old woman was admitted due to ictal aphasia and facial spasm, and she showed a little palpitation and was startled easily. We diagnosed her as Shimdamgiheo (心膽氣虛) and Damhwashimyo (痰火心擾), so we prescribed Chungsimondam-tang. It was effective on that case. so we report.
This study purposed to examine Korean people's white clothes custom historically and to explain the aesthetic consciousness latent in the custom. Korean people preferred white clothes, even up to foreigners called them White-clad folk. Not only as in old historical literatures, but also in Soo-suh, Shin-Dang-suh including Sam-Kuk-Ji in China, white clothes were a real symbol to Korean people, ranging chronically far back to the age of ancient tribal countries, Sam-Kuk Period through Koryo Dynasty and even to modern age near the end of Chosun Dynasty, wearing with pleasure regardless of age, sex or social position. Even King himself in Koryo Dynasty is said to have worn white clothes when he was out of official hours. During the Koryo and Chosun Dynasty, white clothes were sometimes prohibited for various reasons including conflicts with the theories of yin-yang and the five elements but such regulations were not effective. To Korean people, white clothes were ordinary people's everyday dress as well as noble people's plain suits, saints' uniforms with religious meanings, ceremonial costumes, funeral garments, etc. The various uses show that white clothes have been worn by many people. The unique custom that a People have worn white clothes consistently for such a long time may contain very deep symbolic meanings representing the people's sentiments and spirits. The present study understood that the meanings come from religious sacredness, magical wish for brightness, the pursuit of purity originating from the people's national traits, assimilation with nature and the will to attain whole ascetic personality. Aesthetic attitudes based on aesthetic values summed up as sacredness, brightness, purity, assimilation with nature, asceticism, etc. are the aesthetic consciousness pursued by Koreans through their white clothes. For Koreans, white color is the origin of their color sense coming from primitive religions such as worshipping the sun and the heaven. In this way, Korean people's preference for white clothes began with primitive religions, was mixed with various social, cultural and religious influences and finally was settled as their durable spirit, symbol and beauty.
This study aimed to investigate the changed consciousness and expenditure on Kyong-Jo after IMF economic crisis and the some factors which have effects on the change. The expenditure on Kyong-Jo included donations and gifts associated with congratulations and condolences. The data were collected through the personal questionnaire on Cheju Island. The sample consisted of 400 married adults whose age were between 20 to 65. The independent variables were some individual characteristics, household related variables, and Kyong-Jo related variables. The dependent variables included the change in consciousness and expenditure on Kyong-Jo. The data were analyzed by methods such as frequencies, means, Multiple Regression and Logistic Regression analysis. Major results were as follows. The respondents perceived that Kyong-Jo is fundamentally a good custom to help each other when some one is in the hard time. Their perception of the expenditure on Kyong-Jo has not been changed even since IMF economic crisis. 70% of the respondents staid that there was little difference of the expenditure on Kyong-Jo before and after IMF economic crisis. This trend is in contrast to the perception and the expenditure of the people who lived in the other residences after IMF economic crisis. The factors which had significant effects on the respondent's consciousness of the expenditure on Kyong-Jo were occupation, whether owns a house or not, household income, and household assets. The change of household expenditure on Kyong-Jo was effected by the respondent's sex, occupation, household income, household assets, and social network. These results suggested that the respondents on Cheju Island more strongly hold the conservative perception to the expenditure on Kyong-Jo rather than the people in other residences.
The development of IT technology help citizens demand information and public services through internet that they want, and the changes also help the government converge public opinions and become important measures for citizens to participate in deciding governmental policies. So, this thesis makes an overture of a possibility for utilizing PCRM, a way for citizens to participate in Police Administration, by utilizing IT technologies in which everybody can participate without difficulty. The utilization ways are, on a large scale, classified with a macroscopic aspect and microscopic aspect. One of the macroscopic aspects is, first, the consideration of access to services and convenience in utilization. Second, services should have a both-sidedproperty. Ultimately, citizens'participation should have a positive mutual participation level. One of the microscopic aspects is, first, that the police organizations have to establish a strategy to analyze and fractionate customers. Second, the police organizations have to make an effort to develop policy services and P.R strategies. Third, police organizations have to make an effort to manage customers. Fourth, police organizations have to execute customer management in general. So, all of the police organizations have to maintain unity, to some extent, about citizen participation plazas. In addition, at the same time, consciousness aspects have to be accompanied for the reasonable utilization of PCRM. Citizens have to cultivate citizen consciousness, ownership consciousness for society, and positive participation consciousness to solve social problems.
The purpose of this study is to explore an implied meaning of family ethics consciousness from the interpretation of early marriage discourse during the enlightenment period of Korea. For the analysis, the estimated time frame of the enlightenment period wile be from 1860 to 1910 that was the time when the Japanese annexed Korea. The discourse of newspapers, Shinsoseols and magazines which are the text of the study have been analysed with the qualitative research technique. The major findings were as follows: 1. The intellects stated that the traditional practice of early marriage should be abolished, and should be replaced by a marriage that the groom and the bride dually agree upon. This argument meant that marriage was not an event for the parents or the family, but a life event for the couples themselves. 2. The practice of early marriage was criticized as it was one of the main reason of making marital relationship miserable. Also it was stated that the children could not follow the role of husband and wife. The importance of marital relationship was emphasized with the recognition that the marital relationship was the basic relationship within family and society. 3. The discourse, criticizing the parents'behavior that enforced the early marriage of children, stated that the children should not be the possession of parents but the public being of society. 4. The discourse also stated that the society and the parents should recognize their children as the human being to be protected from the early marriage which would result in physical damage of their children. Also the discourse asserted the rights of the children including their rights of education. The childhood were being formed in these discourses.
