병원 간호사와 의사의 갈등관리유형과 의사소통능력 및 협력 간의 관계 (Conflict Management Style, Communication Competence, and Collaboration among Hospital Nurses and Physicians)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the relationship among conflict management style, communication competence and nurse-physician collaboration in hospital nurses and physicians. Methods: This is a descriptive study. Using a questionnaire, data were collected from 230 nurses and 107 physicians at a university hospital in D city. With SPSS/WIN 22.0 program, data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: Physicians scored the highest for communication competence in nurse-physician relationship and the lowest in medical decision making, while nurses scored the highest in patient information sharing and the lowest in nurse-physician relationship. Physicians with problem solving tendency scored higher in communication competence than those with avoiding tendency. Among the nurses, those with avoiding tendency scored the lowest. For both physicians and nurses, communication competence showed a significant negative correlation with avoidance. For nurses there was also a significant positive correlation with compromising tendency. Finally, there was a significant correlation between nurse-physician collaboration and communication competence in both groups. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that nurse-physician collaboration and communication competence are correlated with conflict management style. We suggest educational programs at more hospitals in various locations to improve nurse-physician collaboration reflecting conflict management style.

간호사의 상대적 권력과 대인갈등 (A Study on the Relationship between Nurses Relative Power and Interpersonal Conflicts)

  • This study aims at empirically clarifying the relationship between power and the interpersonal conflict, including nurses' understanding of their relative power, the causes of interpersonal conflicts with the nurses, and strategies to resolve conflicts, in order to understand how nurses' relative power affect their conflicts. For the empirical survey, the population was defined as all the nurses working at a medical organization in Seoul, Korea. 1083 nurses were selected as the sample for the questionnaire survey and statistical analyses. For the sampling, 32 medical organizations were selected by a stratified random method and sub-samples were arbitrarily drawn from each organization to obtain the final sample of 1083 nurses who responded to the questionnaire designed by the reseacher. According to the result of the study, most nurses experience conflict more than once a month, and 70.4% of the respondents answered that interpersonal conflicts were directly or indirectly caused by power relations. which indicates that they perceive power relations as the main cause of interpersonal conflicts. Nurses experienced the most conflicts with interns and residents(29.7%), then patients and their families(24.3%), higher-positioned nurses(12.3%), nurse colleagues(7.7%), lower-positioned nurses(6.5%), and staff doctors(5.1%). If we classify these into three groups. the frequency of the conflicts, from most frequent to least. is in the order of doctors. nurses, and patients. In terms of relative power, nurses perceive that they have greater power than patients and their families, lower-positioned nurses, and nurse colleagues. In contrast, nurses perceive that they have less power than interns and residents, higher-positioned nurses. and staff doctors. Among these groups. nurses perceive that they have the most power over patients and the least over staff doctors. These results indicate that nurses tend to experience more conflicts with members of groups that are stronger than themselves in terms of relative power, Nurses use positive strategies such as the compromise strategy(32.3%) or the collaboration strategy (20.3%) to manage conflicts, more than other strategies. However, they use avoidance or competition strategy more at the earlier stage, compromise strategy more in the mid stage, and collaboration strategy more at the later stage of the interpersonal conflict. In relation to power, nurses use the collaboration strategy or the compromise strategy more when their perceived power is greater than or equal to their counterpart's, and they use the avoidance strategy or the accommodation strategy if their power is less. In terms of source of power, nurses' perceived relative power is greater in the order of referent power. expert power, reward power, legitimate power. and coercive power. where referent power is perceived as having the greatest power and coercive power is least. Most nurses(69.3%) used their power to resolve a conflict. with positive outcomes. Expert power was used most frequently. Overall. this study strongly indicates that the enhancement of power of nurses to have equal power relations with doctors would heighten the success of conflict resolution, since power is the main cause of conflicts. Specifcally. nurses experience most conflicts with doctors against whom they perceive the greatest gap in power. and the choice of a conflict management strategy depend upon their power relations.

자율형 무인운반차를 위한 충돌회피동작의 생성(I) (Collision Avoidance Method for Autonomous Vehicle)

  • This paper describes the Autonomous Vehicles (AV) which are operated for their own tasks. There are chances of conflict resolution such as sharing the same path which can lead to the risk of a collision. This research represents some ways of negotiating the conflict resolution by generating cooperative actions. Negotiation while traveling the path is accomplished by using priority and by announcing the start time of the task. When there is a risk of collision, the AV tries to dissolve the situation of conflict resolution by concurrently adjusting mutual speed and by performing the algorithm of passing. If the speed of the AV cannot be adjusted, it measures the distance between the counterpart of the AV and an obstacle along the path. Then it judges either to proceed by passing the counterpart of the AV or to turn back after observing the current circumstances. The performance of the algorithm described above was proven by a simulator.

다문화가족 결혼이주여성의 분쟁해결방식에 대한 탐색적 연구: 베트남·캄보디아 출신여성을 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on Dispute Resolution Pattern of Vietnamese and Cambodian Marriage Immigrant Women in Multi-Cultural Family)

  • 본 연구는 강원지역에 거주하는 베트남과 캄보디아 출신 결혼이주여성의 분쟁해결 대처방식을 연구하였다. 본 연구는 두 번의 세부 연구로 나누어 진행하였다. 첫 번째 연구는 폐쇄형 설문지를 통하여 12명의 베트남과 캄보디아 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 분석하였으며 두 번째 연구는 5명의 베트남과 캄보디아 출신 결혼이주여성들을 대상으로 개방형 설문지에 대한 응답과 면접을 통하여 진행하였다. 연구결과 상당수 결혼이주 여성들은 분쟁이 발생할 때 주로 모국인과 상담을 하는 것으로 나타나고 있으며 주로 부부 자체적으로 분쟁을 해결하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 베트남 캄보디아 결혼이주여성들은 분쟁이 발생할 때 주로 갈등회피 형 전략을 사용하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 또한 다문화가족지원 센터가 분쟁해결에 도움이 될 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

The Influence of Dental Hygiene Student's Communication Ability and Conflict Management Types on Adaptation to College Life

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of dental hygiene students' communication ability and conflict management types on adaptation to college life improve adaptation to college life and to suggest strategies to play a role as a professional dental hygienist in clinical practice. Methods: The subjects of this study were selected by random sample extraction of dental hygiene students from two colleges in Gyeonggi and one Chungcheong area. The survey was conducted online for dental hygiene students from July 20 to October 31, 2020. In order to comply with research ethics, this study was investigated with the consent of the subjects. The sample was analyzed for the final 351. Results: Dental hygiene students' communication ability was 3.74 points, conflict management types was 3.01 points, and adaptation to college life was 3.30 points. In the type of conflict management according to the general characteristics, the problem-solving method, the avoidance method, the compromise method, and the concession method showed statistically significant differences in major satisfaction. Among the types of conflict management, the highest positive correlation (r=0.613) was shown in the relationship between the problem-solving method and the compromise method. Factors influencing the adaptation to college life were concentration, forced method, self-disclosure, conversational coherence, and social relaxation. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it derives sub-areas of communication ability and conflict management types that influence adaptation to college life. In the future, there is a need to improve the quality of dental hygienists by continuously conducting research on the types of conflict management targeting dental hygienists, and responding more proactively and actively to conflict situations in the clinical field.

갈등해결전략이 관계학습과 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Conflict Resolution Strategies on Relationship Learning and Performance)

  • 갈등에 대한 다양한 연구가 이루어졌음에도 불구하고, 갈등해결을 통한 관계학습의 관점에서 조직적(interorganizational)으로 접근한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 갈등해결 매커니즘을 통해, 유통경로 구성원들이 어떻게 관계학습을 구축할 수 있는지, 그리고 이것들이 경로관계의 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 있다. 이와 같은 목적으로 국내 유통업체의 협력업체 영업담당자 490명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 갈등해결에 있어 협력행동은 관계학습의 세 가지 과정인 정보공유, 공동이해와 해석, 관계특유기억 모두를 강화한 반면, 회피행동은 정보공유만 약화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 공동이해와 해석, 관계특유기억은 유통경로의 성과인 효과성과 효율성을 강화시킨 반면, 정보공유는 성과에 영향을 미치지 않았다.

영아반 복수담임의 갈등수준에 따른 갈등관리방법과 직무만족도 (The Study on Conflict Management Methods and Job Satisfaction of Conflict Level in Team Teaching Nursery Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 영아반 복수담임의 갈등정도를 알아보고 갈등수준에 따른 갈등관리방법과 직무만족도의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 영아반 복수담임 241명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 도구는 김송은(2013)이 구성한 갈등측정 척도, 김재숙(2016)이 구성한 갈등관리방법 척도, 조성연 등(2011)이 제작한 한국형 보육교사 직무만족척도를 사용하였다. 자료분석을 위하여 SPSS WIN18.0프로그램을 사용하여 연구문제에 따라 빈도와 백분율, 일원변량분석, Scheffe 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 영아반 복수담임의 갈등수준에 따른 갈등관리방법은 '통합'과 '회피'의 유형에서 집단 간 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉 갈등이 낮은 '저' 집단이 '통합'의 방법을 갈등이 높은 '고'집단이 '회피'의 방법을 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영아반 복수담임의 갈등수준에 따른 직무만족도는 '원장의 운영 방법 및 태도', '사회적 인식 및 처우', '보육환경과 복지', '보육업무', '동료교사와의 관계', '부모와의 관계' 전체에서 집단 간 유의한 차이를 보여 갈등이 낮은 '저'집단이 '중'집단이나 '고'집단보다 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 기초로 하여 보다 효율적인 영아반 복수담임 운영에 대하여 논의하였다.

  • The participants in this study were university students, who are millennials and familiar with various devices and SNS enabling hyper connection, such as smartphones, the Internet, and the Internet of Things. People are sustaining their relationships with others by using the latest technology and cutting-edge devices at will. Some purchases are made at offline stores through online information, but products are checked through offline stores and purchased online. The MZ generation, which does not always have a fixed and constant behavioral response pattern, was considered a participant in this study because the response pattern may vary depending on one's tendency to avoid uncertainty. As a result of experimenting with the MZ generation, similar results were found in all dependent variables. Advertorial and general ads treated as independent variables affected the participants' tendency to avoid uncertainty. In other words, uncertainty avoidance tendency and interaction effect were found as a result of verifying the effects on the dependent variable of ads type. In an advertorial, the group with low uncertainty avoidance tendencies showed higher dependent variable effects than the group with high uncertainty avoidance tendencies; in general ads, uncertainty avoidance tendencies were higher. The higher group showed higher dependent variable effects than the lower group. Therefore, the group with a low tendency to avoid uncertainty has a high level of dependent variable effects in the advertorial, and the group with high uncertainty avoidance tendency performs self-interpretation in general ads.

대학생의 위험회피 기질이 우울에 미치는 영향: 정서표현 양가성과 고통 감내력의 이중매개효과 (The Effects of Harm Avoidance Temperament on Depression: Dual Mediating Effects of Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness and Distress Tolerance)

  • 본 연구에서는 위험회피 기질을 가진 대학생들이 우울에 취약하다는 점을 확인하면서 그 과정에 정서표현 양가성과 고통 감내력이 매개변인으로서 영향을 미친다는 점을 검증해보는 데 목적이 있다. 403명의 대학생들을 대상으로 TCI-RS, AEQ-K, DTS, CES-D를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 위험회피 기질과 정서표현 양가성은 우울과 유의한 정적 상관을, 고통 감내력과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 또한, 정서표현 양가성과 고통 감내력은 위험회피 기질을 순차적으로 매개하여 우울에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 기질적 특성뿐만 아니라 심리사회적 요인이 복합적으로 우울에 영향을 미치고 있음을 시사한다.

  • The conflict problems encountered in the construction projects led to prolonged delays in implementation, interruptions and sometimes suspension. This paper has described ten fundamental management principles to avoid conflicts in construction field and increase the productivity. They are: i) hire good (not cheap) construction professionals ii) set reasonable time and cost goals iii) recognize contractors and designers are in business to make profit iv) draft a clear contract document v) pick a suitable project delivery system vi) implement a front-end approach vii) accept construction project as a dynamic process viii) need of education and training of professionals ix) accountability and teamwork in construction site, and x) avoid negligence.
