탄성밴드를 이용한 노인 운동프로그램이 노인의 우울과 신체적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Elderly Exercise Program Using Elastic-band on the Depression and Physical Self-Efficacy of the Elderly)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the elastic-band exercise program for elderly who over 65 years old in terms of depression and physical self efficacy. We aim to suggest interventions with an elastic-band exercise program for elderly. Methods : The study subjects selected were females or males 65 years old or more who could walk without assistance and could talk about daily living without mental or physical disorders. A total of eight subjects understood the purpose of this study and agreed to participate. Before and after the exercise program, the subjects were monitored for changes in their physical self-efficacy and depression. To measure the physical self-efficacy, we used a perceived physical ability scale and physical self-presentation confidence scale (Cronbach α =0.942). To measure depression, we used the geriatric depression scale short form (Korea version, Cronbach α =0.969). The data obtained from each measure were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test to determine changes from before and after the exercise program. The program consisted of three parts (warm-up, main exercise and cool-down) and included the upper extremities, the lower extremities and trunk exercises with an elastic band (yellow and red). The program lasted for 15 weeks, once a week, with each session lasting for 60 minutes. Results : After 15 weeks of the elastic-band exercise program, there was a significant decrease on the depression scale (p<0.05) and significant improvements on the physical self-efficacy scale (p<0.05). Conclusion : Based upon our results, we demonstrated that the exercise program using the elastic band was effective in improving the depression and physical self-efficacy of the elderly.

사상체질과 팔체질 진단결과의 연관성에 대한 예비 연구 (The Pilot Study on the Association of Diagnosis Results between Sasang Constitutional Medicine and Eight Constitutional Medicine)

  • Objectives: This study aims to find out the association between Sasang and Eight Constitution by analyzing Sasang and Eight Constitution Diagnosis results. Methods: We analyzed Sasang and Eight Constitution Diagnosis results according to confidence, by reviewing medical records of 247 patients retrospectively whose Sasang and Eight constitutions were diagnosed by two independent specialists. We used chi-square test and Cramer Statistic to know association of two diagnosis results. Results and Conclusions: Taeumin was 49.8% in Jupita, Soeumin 65.2% in Mercuria, Soyangin 90.9% in Saturna, Taeumin was 54.2% in Jupita, Soeumin 83.4% in Mercuria, Soyangin 100% in Saturna in condition that Sasang and Eight Constitution diagnosis confidence is over Band 50 score. The higher diagnosis confidence is, also the higher association between Sasang and Eight Constitution is up to 0.414(Cramer Statistic). There is association between Sasang and Eight Constitution.

신호대잡음비에 따른 신뢰도 기반의 광대역 음향측정 정확도 예측 (Estimation of Wide-Band Acoustic Measurement Accuracy Based on Confidence as Variation of Signal-to-Noise Ratio)

  • 미지신호에 대한 측정에서는 오차분산의 명확한 표현이 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 수동측정에서의 측정정확도를 예측하기 위한 방법을 정립한다. 제안된 예측 방법은 신 뢰도를 기반으로 신호대잡음비 및 주파수대역폭과 시간적분과의 곱에 의해 정확도를 표현한 다. 본 논문에서는 배경소음 환경에서의 측정음향을 그대로 분석하는 경우와 배경소음을 예 측하여 측정음향에서 제거시키는 경우를 구분하여 광대역 음향측정시의 성능예측 기준을 시 뮬레이션하고 정확도를 예측한다.

THE EFFICIENT METHOD TO DETECT DEFECTIVE DETECTOR OF THE SWIR BAND OF SPOT 4

  • This paper presents the efficient method to detect the defective detectors of the SWIR band of SPOT 4. The key of this method are to flatten the baseline of the data using high pass band filter instead of differentiation. This method is made up six steps. First step is to apply image enhancement techniques to enhance the lines imaged by defective detector and improve the quality of an image. Second step is processed by summing the enhanced image in line direction. These summed data have the peaks that represent the defective detectors and the curved baseline characterized by the reflectivity of Earth surface. In order to exactly detect these peaks, third step is to flatten the curved baseline using high pass filtering in the frequency domain. In fourth step, the data with flat baseline is normalized to have zero mean and unity standard deviation. In fifth step, the defective detectors are detected using $99.9\%$ confidence interval. Finally, after removing the detected ones in summed data, the steps from third to five are iterated. Three SPOT 4 images, which have different reflectivity of Earth surface and different sensor, were used to validate this method. The overall accuracy of detection for three images was $97.9\%$. This result shows that this method can detect efficiently the lines made by defective detectors.

K-대역 감소량 표준기의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of K-band Attenuation Standard)

  • K-대역에서 동작하는 3.5 mm 동축형 감쇠량 표준기를 개발하고 그 측정 불확도를 평가하였다. 전력비 전달방식의 4개의 모듈로 구성된 이 표준기는 18 GHz부터 26.5 GHz까지의 광대역에서 동작하며 각 모듈은 약 20 dB의 감쇠량을 가진다. 측정 가능한 최대 감쇠량은 80 dB이고 이때의 확장 불확도는 약 95% 신뢰수준에서 0.01 dB이다.

협동 센서 융합 기반 화자 성별 분류를 위한 무선 센서네트워크 개발 (A Development of Wireless Sensor Networks for Collaborative Sensor Fusion Based Speaker Gender Classification)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선센서네트워크에서 이루어지는 협동적 센서융합을 이용한 화자성별분류를 제안하였다. 센서노드들은 BER(Band Energy Ratio) 기반 음성활동검출을 수행함으로써 불필요한 입력 데이터는 제거하고 관련성이 높은 데이터만을 처리 및 경판정한다. 개별적 센서노드에서 생성된 경판정 값들은 융합센터로 송신되고 전역적 결정 융합을 구축하기 때문에 전력 소모를 줄이고 네크워크 자원을 절약한다. 화자성별분류를 위한 센서융합기법으로써 베이시안(Bayesian) 센서융합 및 전역적 가중결정융합가법들이 제안되었다. 베이시안 센서융합의 경우, 배치되는 센서노드 수 변화에 따른 ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic) 커브의 동작점을 통해 개별 센서노드 레벨에서 얻어진 경판정 값들을 처리하고 최적의 분류 융합을 결정한다. 전역적 결정을 위한 가중치로써 BER 및 MCL(Mutual Confidence Level)을 채택하여 개별적 지역 경판정 값들을 효율적으로 결합 및 융합시킨다. 센서 노드의 수가 증가함에 따라 분류화 성능이 개선되어졌으며 특히 낮은 SNH(Signal to Noise Ratio) 환경에서 성능 개선폭이 더 높게 나타남을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

주증기 배관 헤더의 압력맥동에 대한 분기 배관의 고진동 대책 (Countermeasure on High Vibration of Branch Pipe with Pressure Pulsation Transmitted from Main Steam Header)

  • Vibration has been severly increased at the branch pipe of main steam header since the commercial operation of nuclear power plant. Intense broad band disturbance flow at the discontinuous region such as elbow, valve, and header generates the acoustical pulsation which is propagated through the piping system. The pulsation becomes the source of low frequency vibration at piping system. If it coincide with natural frequency of the pipe system, excessive vibration is made. High level vibration due to the pressure pulsation related to high dynamic stress, and ultimately, to failure probability affects fatally the reliability and confidence of plant piping system. This paper discusses vibration effect for the branch pipe system due to acoustical pulsations by broad band disturbance flow at the large main steam header in 700 MW nuclear power plant. The exciting sources and response of the piping system are investigated by using on-site measurements and analytical approaches. It is identified that excessive vibration is caused by acoustical pulsations of 1.3 Hz, 4.4 Hz and 6.6 Hz transmitted from main steam balance header, which are coincided with fundamental natural frequencies of the piping structure. The energy absorbing restraints with additional stiffness and damping factor were installed to reduce excessive vibration.

저궤도 관측위성에 탑재된 X-밴드 송신기의 Quality Loss (The Quality Loss of a X-Band Transmitter on the LEO Satellite)

  • 저궤도 관측위성에 탑재된 전자광학 카메라(Electro Optical Instrument)에서 생성되는 지상 표적의 영상데이터 (수 백 Mbps)를 실시간 지상 수신소로 전송하는 X-밴드 송신기에 대한 quality loss를 MC 방식의 시뮬레이션으로 산출하였다. 본 quality loss 시뮬레이션에는 QPSK 변조기의 데이터 비대칭(data asymmetry), I Q 채널간의 신호 크기 및 위상편차 불균형(unbalance), 채널결합기(OMUX)의 채널필터에 의한 변조파형 정형화 및 채널간섭 등의 변수가 포함되었다. 무선 구간의 잡음채널을 가산성 가우시안 백색잡음으로 가정할 때, 신뢰도 95 %를 기준한 시뮬레이션에서 X-밴드 송신기의 quality loss 0.7 dB를 구했으며, 이 quality loss는 데이터 링크의 링크버짓(link budget)에서 부가적인 손실항으로 반영되었다.

The Effects of Action Observation with Functional Electrical Stimulation on Corticomuscular Coherence

  • Objective: To investigate the action observation effects of functional electrical stimulation (FES) on the communication between motor cortex and muscle through corticomuscular coherence (CMC) analysis. Methods: Electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyogram (EMG) of 27 healthy, nonathlete subjects were measured during action observation, FES, and action observation with FES, which lasted for 7sper session for 10 times. All trials were repeated for 30 times. Simultaneously measured EEG raw data and rectified EMG signals were used to calculate CMC. Only confidence limit values above 0.0306 were used for analysis. CMC was divided into three frequency domains, andthe grand average coherence and peak coherence were computed. Repeated ANOVA was performed to analyze the coherence value difference for each condition's frequency band. Results: CMC showed significant differences in peak coherence and average coherence between the conditions (p<0.05). Action observation application with FES in all frequency band showed the highest peak and average coherence value. Conclusions: The results of this study are assumed to be the combination of increased eccentric information transfer from the sensorymotor cortex by action observation and an increased in concentric sensory input from the peripheral by the FES, suggesting that these are reflecting the sensorimotor integration process.
