카린시안 터널 공법의 기준 제안을 위한 수치 해석적 연구 - 국내 고속철도 복선터널 표준 단면을 기준으로 - (Numerical Analysis for Carinthian Cut and Cover Tunnelling Method)

  • 개착식공법과 NATM 공법을 결합한 카린시안(Carinthian) 공법에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 아치콘크리트를 이용한 설계 및 시공 사례가 증가하고 있으나, 아치 단면에 대한 별도의 적용 기준이 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 카린시안 공법에 대한 기준을 검토하기 위하여 지반조건과, 터널 상부 지층 두께, 되메움 두께, 상부 지반 지표면의 경사 각도를 변화시키는 등의 다양한 조건들에 대하여 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석 결과들을 회귀분석법으로 분석하고, 유도된 회귀 분석식을 분류하고 정리하여 합리적이고, 경제적이며, 안전한 카린시안 공법의 기준을 제안하고자 하였다.

Post-peak response analysis of SFRC columns including spalling and buckling

  • Standard compression tests of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) cylinders are conducted to formulate compressive stress versus compressive strain relationship of SFRC. Axial pullout tests of SFRC specimens are also conducted to explore its tensile stress strain relationship. Cover concrete spalling and reinforcement buckling models developed originally for normal reinforced concrete are modified to extend their application to SFRC. Thus obtained monotonic material models of concrete and reinforcing bars in SFRC members are combined with unloading/reloading loops used in the cyclic models of concrete and reinforcing bars in normal reinforced concrete. The resulting path-dependent cyclic material models are then incorporated in a finite-element based fiber analysis program. The applicability of these models at member level is verified by simulating cyclic lateral loading tests of SFRC columns under constant axial compression. The analysis using the proposed SFRC models yield results that are much closer to the experimental results than the analytical results obtained using the normal reinforced concrete models are.

고강도콘크리트 부재의 균열폭 및 균열간격 계산에 관한 연구 (Calculation of Crack Width and Crack Spacing of High-Strength Concrete Members)

  • This paper describes a calculation of an average crack spacing and the maximum crack width for the high-strength concrete tensile and flexural members. Based on the uniform bond stress distribution of the average steel and concrete strains over the transfer length, the crack spacing and the crack width are proposed to utilize influence of the concrete strength and the cover thickness. This analytical results presented in this paper indicate that the proposed equations can be more effectively estimated the maximum crack width and the average crack spacing of the reinforced concrete flexural and tensile members.

고강도 콘크리트 휨부재의 정착 및 겹침이음길이에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Research on Development and Splices Length in High-Strength Concrete Flexural Members)

  • This paper presents the test results of 24 beam-end specimens to investigate the effect of concrete strength and cover thickness on the development resistance capacity in tensile lap splice length regions. The results showed that as higher strength concrete was employed, nor only development resistance capacity was influenced by cover thickness, but also more sufficient safety factor reserved shorter than the lap splice length provision in current design code. From experimental research results, high-strength concrete development length was not inverse ratio of ($\sqrt{f_{ck}}$) but directly inverse of $f_{ck}$, and it is also said that there is a certain limit length of the embedded steel over which the assumption of uniform bond stress distribution is valid specially for high-strength concrete not having a same embed length such as normal-strength concrete in current design criteria hypothesis.

Direct Shear Test of Retrofit Anchors Using Deformed Reinforcement and Adhesive

  • A new type of retrof=t anchor bolt that uses deformed reinforcing bars and a commercial adhesive was developed and then an experimental study was carried out to determine the behavior of the anchors in direct shear. The steel-to-concl몫ete interface was tested. Plain concrete slabs with about 20-MPa compressive strength were used for 23 direct shear tests performed Test variables were anchor diameters (D16, D22. and D29) and edge effect. Three different shear tests were completed: simple shear, edge shear where anchors were pulled against the concrete core, and edge shear where anchors were pushed against the concrete cover In the simple and the edge shear tests where the anchors were pulled against the core, the theoretical dowel strength determined by (equation omitted) was achieved but with relatively large displacements. The shear resistances increased with the increasing displacements. In the edge shear test where the anchors were pushrd against the cover, the peak shear strengths signif=cantly lower than the theoretical dowel strength were determined due to cracks developed in concrete when the edge distance was 80 mm. The peak strengths were about 50% of the dowel strength for Dl6 bar. and about 25% or less of the dowel strength for D22 and D29 bars. Test results revealed that the edge shear where the anchor was pushed against the cover controled.

  • In designing cut and cover tunnels, load combination applied Korea seismic design code of urban transit and its sections applied Korea concrete code 2003. However, by revision of Korea concrete code in 2007, engineers have been experiencing difficulties in their work. In this study, application of Korea concrete code 2007 for designing is reviewed by comparing load combination of related codes and member force.

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of non-uniform corrosion distribution on the analysis of concrete cover failure. A series of experiments have been undertaken to measure the corrosion rate of reinforcement according to the concentration of chloride ion so as to suggest a relationship between the reinforcement corrosion rate and chloride ion density. The corrosion induced pressure depending on the density of chloride ion has been derived. And nonlinear analysis assuming nonlinear corrosion distribution for cover cracking was achieved and compared with other experimental results to verify the accuracy of the model. Analysis was also performed for various parameters to compare their effects.
