CFRP로 보강된 RC보의 부착상세에 따른 보강효과 (Strengthening Effects of R.C. Beams using Externally attached CFRP Composites with Bond[ Details)

  • Many studies have dealt with strengthening by epoxy-bonded CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) composites. However, the effects of various influencing factors have not been clarified on the behavior of strengthened RC beams. This study was performed to verify the effects of strengthening due to various bond details of externally attached CFRP Composites. In this study, major test parameters include the bond type and the anchor type. The deflections, failure load, strain of reinforcing bar, concrete and CFRP are measured at each loading step. The failure mode and debonding loads(ultimate loads) are analysed from these measured data. According to the test results, all specimens are failed by intermediate flexural crack induced interfacial debonding.

  • An experimental investigation on the strength and behaviour of reinforced concrete columns using high performance fiber reinforced cement composites has been carried out. The columns were subjected to monotonic axial compression until failure. The variables in this study are the combination ratio of steel cord(SC) and Polyethylene (PE), and the volumetric ratio of transverse reinforcement Test results showed that the fibers, when used in a hybrid form, could result in superior composite performance compared to their individual fiber reinforced cement composites.

실리카흄 및 플라이애쉬.시멘트 복합체의 역학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Mechanical Properties of Silica Fume and Fly Ash.Cement Composites)

  • 본 연구는 산업부산물의 플라이애쉬 및 실리카흄을 이용한 고성능$\cdot$고품질의 건재의 제조 및 응용을 위하여 보강재로서 PAN계 및 Pitch계 탄소섬유를 사용하여 건재용 탄소섬유보강 실리카흄$\cdot$시멘트 복합체 및 플라이애쉬$\cdot$시멘트 복합체를 제조하여 배합조건별 동복합체의 물리적 역학적 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 시험결과, 탄소섬유보강 실리카흄$\cdot$시멘트 복합체의 휨강도, 휨인성 및 휨변형 특성은 탄소섬유 혼입율증대에 수반하여 현저히 증가하는 경향을 나타내었고, 또 이들 값은 PAN계 CF를 사용한 경유가 Pitch계 CH를 사용한 경우에 비하여 높게 나타났다. 한편, 플라이애쉬$\cdot$시멘트 복합체는 플라이애쉬 대체율의 증가에 따라 물(플라이애쉬+시멘트)비는 증가하였으나, 압축$\cdot$휨강도 및 겉보기 비중은 저하하였으며 촉진양생은 경우가 습윤양생한 경우에 비하여 우수한 압축강도 및 휨강도를 나타내었다. 또한, 기존ALC의 대체를 위한 경량 플라이애쉬\ulcorner시멘트 복합체를 개발하였고, 그 최적배합조건을 제시하였다.

  • In this study, it is investigate to influence on tile dispersion of fiber and the flowability of matrix of type and amount of superplasticizer, velocity agent, mineral admixture and steel fiber to improve for construction performance of steel fiber reinforced cementitious composites. As for the test results, it was found that the dispersion of fiber and the flowability of matrix in steel fiber reinforced cementitious composites can improve by using of properly amount and combination of superplasticizer, velocity agent, mineral admixture. Furthermore, It show that the aspect ratio of steel fiber affect the construction performance of fiber reinforced cementitious composites, and the improvement for construction performance is the more effective the smaller aspect ration of steel fiber.

공작기계를 위한 보와 평판의 샌드위치 구조 설계에 관한 파라메트릭 연구 (Parametric Study on the Design of Sandwich Beams and Plates for Machine Tool Structures)

  • In this paper, polymer composites based sandwich structures like beams and plates are optimised by using parametric study. The structures are composed of fibre reinforced composites for facial material and resin concrete and PVC foam for core materials. The stacking sequences and thickness of the composites are controlled as major parameters to find out the optimal condition for machine tool components. For the plate structure of machine tool bed composites-skined sandwich structure which has several ribs are proposed to enhance bending stiffnesses in two major directions at the same time. Dynamic robustness of a machine tool structure is investigated using modal analysis. From the results optimal configuration and materials for high precesion machine tools are proposed. And the plate was made of fiber reforced composite material and PVC foam.

  • This paper discusses the role of micro and macrofibers in the workability, compressive strength, and failure of cementitious composites. Workability(flow), compressive strength, splitting strength and fracture mechanism of hybrid fiber reinforced cement composites(HFRCC) have been investigated by means of Korean Standard (KS). The specific blend pursued in this investigation is a combination of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) and steel cord. It was demonstrated that a hybrid combination of steel and PVA enhances fiber dispersion compared to only steel cord reinforced cement composites and that the brittle and wide cracking was much reduced in HFRCC as expected because in the matrix containing the PVA fiber around the steel cord, a multiple microcracking occurred and the steel cord could sufficiently work for bridging the cracked surface.

  • Much of requirements to the civil and building structures have been changed in accordance with the social and economic progress. Ductility of high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites(HPFRCCs), which exhibit strain hardening and multiple crackling characteristics under the uniaxial tensile stress is drastically improved. In HPFRCC application, PVA fiber has been dominantly used as a reinforcement because of its excellent alkali resistant nature as well as high strength. But the inherent strong hydrophilicity of PVA fiber promotes the moisture absorption in cement matrix and thus it may cause the corrosion of steel structure. Therefore, it is necessary to control the interfacial adhesion of cement composites. In present study, to control the interfacial adhesion of the cementitious composites reinforced by PVA fiber, UV irradiation of the PVA fiber were performed and their effects on the adhesion property and general characteristics were investigated extensively.
