7,8-Dioxo-A-norerythrinan (A) was synthesized from acid catalyzed cyclization of 6a-hydroxv-1-(2-phenylethyl)-octahydrocyclo-penta[b] pyrrole-3a-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (B) with concomitant deethoxycarbonylation. The intermediate (B) was a hydroxylated compound of N-acyliminium (C). The unstable pyrrolinium (C) was prepared from oxalylation of the enamine of phenethylamine and ethyl 2-oxocyclopentanecarboxylate.

From 1982 to 1987, six patients underwent left ventricular aneurysmectomy with concomitant myocardial revascularization. Simultaneous repair of postinfarction ventricular septal defect was performed in 3 patients and left ventricular thrombectomy in two. There was no hospital mortality and late mortality during 220 months* follow up period-.[Mean 36.7 months, range 13 to 72 months] Their condition was improved in all. They live in physical condition of NYHA class I-II. We believe early surgical intervention can be life-saving, and can be done without undue surgical risk, even in cases of postinfarction VSD and LV aneurysm with failing heart.

The recommended approach for dumbell trmor is a one-stage removal by a team work of both neurosurgeons & thoracic surgeons. Recently we removed a case of dumbell tumor in a 69 years old woman with standard posterolateral thoracotomy and concomitant laminectomy as single stage operation. Postoperative course was uneventful and there were no postoperative neurologic signs.

In this paper, we establish some conditional versions of the first part of the Borel-Cantelli lemma. As its applications, we study strong limit results of $\mathfrak{F}$-independent random variables sequences, the convergence of sums of $\mathfrak{F}$-independent random variables and the conditional version of strong limit results of the concomitants of order statistics.

Pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum is a extremely rare congenital cardiac anomaly. With the history of cyanosis and failure to thrive, this anomaly should not be excluded and emergency management is necessary. Our patient was 69 day-old male with pulmonary atresia which was confirmed by cardiac angiography. Prostaglandin E1 was used for maintenance of pulmonary blood flow preoperatively. Right ventricular outflow reconstruction with pericardial patch and concomitant pulmonary valvotomy were done on beating heart for palliation. With this method, growing of right ventricle and tricuspid annulus are highly expected.

We managed a 30 years old female pulmonary aspergillosis patient concomitant with staged pneumothorax bilaterally whose lung function decreased severely. Operative indication was fetal hemoptysis. She discharged at four weeks after left upper lobectomy in good general condition. And we .concluded that early resection should be considered in patients with pulmonary aspergilloma and coexistent pulmonary tuberculosis because those are at greater risk of fetal hemorrhage, particularly once severe hemoptysis has occurred although poor lung function in our country.

Computational algorithms to calculate M-estimators and rank estimators of regression parameters from left-truncated and right-censored data are developed herein. In the case of M-estimators, new statistical methods are also introduced to incorporate leverage assements and concomitant scale estimation in the presence of left truncation and right censoring on the observed response. Furthermore, graphical methods to examine the residuals from these data are presented. Two real data sets are used for illustration.

견갑하근의 단독 파열은 드물고 또 이에 대한 치료와 관련된 논문도 한정적이었으나 최근 관절경 술식의 발달로 견갑하근 파열의 진단과 치료방식이 발전하고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 견갑하근의 중요성이 더욱 대두되었고 이에 견갑하근의 파열양상, 봉합방법 그리고 후상방회전근 개 파열과의 관련성 등이 여러 저자들에 의해서 연구 되고 있다. 즉, 이전까지 관심의 대상에서 제외 되었던 견갑하근의 부분파열이 점차적으로 회전근 개 파열의 중요한 역할을 하며 상완 이두건초염과 오구상완 인대의 내측활차의 손상이 이러한 부분파열의 원인을 제공할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 견갑하근 파열에 대한 정확한 원인 인자는 아직 불투명하다.

The study aims at book importation from China in the Latter Choson Period. It chiefly, achieved to concomitant with an envoy of a trimming policy. The pattern of book importations divided into public trade, private trade, Royal gift. Beyond the main stream of imports were Neo-Confucian books, a bibliographical study of Chineses classics books and Paegwan fictions (fictional narratives of oral natures compiled by local officials) including So-hag books that were at that time in the fashion were introduced into Korea. Like this, several pattern of book importation had an important effect upon closed Choson society.
