탁아기관 유아를 위한 영양교육 프로그램의 개발 및 효과평가 (The Development and Effect-Evaluation of Nutrition Education Program for Preschool Children in Children Centers)

  • This study was designed to : (a) develop the nutrition education program for preschool children (b) actually apply the program in the child-care center and evaluate its educational effects by a Non-equivalent control group design. Nutrition education program was developed on the basis of the conceptual framework which consisted of nutrition nutrients. food handling, life cycle and social.psychological needs. Also the program was devised to contribute children's motor, social, emotional and sensory developments. Nutrition achievement test(NAT) based on the table of specifications coinciding with the conceptual framework and was utilized to evaluate the nutrition education program. Subjects consisted of 42 preschool children, with 22 in control group and 20 in treatment group. All the subject completed a pretest and a posttest and the posttest means between control and treatment groups were compared. The control group had a score of 15.08 and the treatment group, 16.76 and the difference was not significant The treatment group's pre and post test means were 14.20 and 16.76, and showed the difference to be significant (p$\leq$0.05).

  • This study is focused on the indeterminancy of the contemporary social structure based on the philosophical concept of relationship. The indeterminate relationship is one of the prominent characteristics of contemporary architecture. This study aims to clarity the indeterminate programs of the contemporary urban spatial structures. By tracing this new characteristics of new architectural trend, the spatial situations of could be understood in light of new conceptual frame as well as some relevant architectural project cases.

  • This paper describes the design optimization of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs). An optimization framework has been developed and implemented for the conceptual design of UAVs. An integrated design analysis program was developed with several analysis modules such as propulsion, performance, mission, weight, and stability and control. A UAV configuration design optimization was performed by implementing the integrated analysis to enhance the endurance of UAVs. A SQP optimizer was utilized to build an optimization module for this program and sensitivity analysis was performed to determine the trends of shape variables for developing optimization objective. In conclusion, the results indicate that the resulting optimized UAVs configurations show performance improvements over the baseline design and reliable analysis results.

  • In the work of contemporary spatialization, the meaning of program is being an important conceptual element beyond simple functional dimension. The design of this diagram allows to balance among changing programs, and it comes into the spotlight as a medium, which links the virtual to the reality as embodying the virtual, which is not embodied realistically, realistically through the design process. In other words, this method is attracting the public attention as a design tool which can concentrate on design process rather than a fixed tool. This study focuses on the role of balancing among mixed programs and the diagram as a design tool. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and research the work of spatialization, which apply to diagrams of contemporary designers, is to identify operating mechanism and then is to examine the characteristics and importance of them.

A simplified algorithm for conceptual estimation of the material quantities of rubble-mound breakwaters

  • A simplified algorithm is proposed for fast estimation of the material quantities required for the construction of rubble-mound breakwaters. The proposed algorithm is able to employ only the data available at feasibility study phase such as the maximum draught of the design ship selected to transport the cargos to the harbor despite, because at the feasibility phase, information for the planned harbor is likely to be very limited. A linear-constant waterdepth model together with a proposed section configuration for the breakwaters, which is customary for harbors, is considered to calculate the quantity of materials. The numerical simulation of the wave characteristics has been verified using the recorded wave data collected by a buoy installed near the Neka harbor in Caspian Sea waters. A case study has been also applied to four harbors to validate the proposed algorithm. The estimated weights using the proposed linear-constant and multi-linear waterdepth models were compared using the bathymetry maps and layouts of these harbors. A computer program, written in QBasic language, has been developed to simulate the wave characteristics and to estimate the material quantities needed to construct a rubble-mound breakwater. The obtained results show that taking into account the acceptable accuracies normally applied to the feasibility study and conceptual design phases, the proposed algorithm is sufficiently accurate and highly effective for the conceptual estimation of materials' quantities of breakwaters in the feasibility study phase of harbor projects.

전기자동차의 주행성능 프로그램 개발 (Development of an Electric Vehicle Simulation Program)

  • A simulation program is developed to analyse the driving performance of an electric vehicle. It is composed of the structured modules modelled after the functional components of the electric vehicle. This program can be used conveniently in the conceptual design stage of a new electric vehicle. The comparision of the test data of ETX-1 developed by Ford with the calculated results shows reasonable agreement within 15% error.

STEM 통합 접근의 사전 공학 교육 프로그램 모형 개발 (The Development of Pre-Engineering Educational Program Model Based on STEM Integration Approach)

  • 이 연구는 STEM 통합 접근의 사전 공학 교육 프로그램 모형을 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 관련 문헌 고찰과 전문가를 대상으로 한 타당도 조사를 실시하였다. 이 연구에서는 STEM 통합 접근의 교육 프로그램 모형 개발과 관련하여 다음과 같은 세 가지 결과를 산출하였다. 첫째, 과학, 기술학, 공학, 수학 각각에 대한 개념, 고유의 탐구 방법과 지식 구조 및 영역을 확인하고, 이에 대한 타당도 조사를 통해 STEM 통합 접근의 개념 모형을 구성하였다. 둘째, STEM 통합 접근의 통합 핵심 요소, 활동유형, 교육 프로그램 수행 학습 인원, 교육 프로그램 수준을 탐색하고 이를 바탕으로 하여 STEM 통합 접근의 교육 프로그램 개념 모형을 구안하였다. 셋째, 주제 중심 통합 접근에 따른 탐구 프로젝트 활동, 문제 중심 통합 접근에 따른 문제 해결 활동, 설계 중심 통합 접근에 따른 창의 공학 설계 활동 각각의 교육 프로그램 구성 단계를 제시하여 STEM 통합 접근의 교육 프로그램 구조화를 꾀하였다.

  • 액체로켓엔진(Liquid Rocket Engine) 의 천이성능 예측을 위해 선행연구 되었던 LRE 시스템 모듈화 프로그램의 결과를 살펴보고, 일본의 로켓엔진 동적 해석 프로그램(Rocket Engine Dynamic Simulator)의 엔진 시스템 동적 해석 방법과 모델링에 대해 고찰하였다. LRE 시스템 모듈화 프로그램에서는 각 구성품에 대한 설계 인자를 수학적으로 모델링하였고 구성품 간의 유량과 압력을 매칭시켜 통합하여, 로켓엔진 시스템의 요구조건을 만족하는 각 구성품에 대한 주요 설계 파라미터를 도출하는 과정에 관하여 논의하였다. 로켓엔진 시스템을 유한한 배관요소들의 연결로 모델링하고, 시간의 함수로 표현되는 보존방정식을 적용하여 터보펌프, 밸브, 오리피스,추력실 등 유체기기의 작동 특성을 모사하는 동특성 설계 과정에 관하여 고찰한다.

렘 쿨하스와 카즈요 세지마 건축에서 나타나는 프로그램의 조직과 공간구성 방법의 비교분석 (A Study on the Program Organization and Spatialization Methods in the Projects of Rem Koolhaas and Kazuyo Sejima)

  • This study aims to analyze the projects of Rem Koolhaas and Kazuyo Sejima in terms of program organization and spatialization methods. Diagrammatic methods are frequently used in their design process and are articulated in the graphical presentations in many publications to explain their projects. Even though diagrammatic methods can be used in diverse ways, Koolhaas and Sejima tend to use them to systematically organize the given programs in their specific ways. Furthermore this organization generate spatialization process in which the final building form is flexibly derived from the process itself. After the detailed studies for each architectsquot concepts, design process, and several unique characteristics that have vital roles to construct their ideas into real building were found. This research has a couple of steps to critically analyze the spatialization process: Conceptual Background, Circulation Organization, Structural Method and Furniture. After the examination based on these elements, similarity and difference between two architects are discussed in the conclusion. Ultimately it has been found that there are unique design development processes in each architectquots projects even though they tend to apply somewhat similar program-based spatialization process. It has originated not only from the each architectquots personal view of architecture, but also from the cultural backgrounds. It is hoped that this sort of comparative study would generate more diverse discussions in program-based design process as well as clear application of any related methods.

  • Human factors principles and evaluation methodologies are applied to design the MMIS of the KNGR. Human factors issues identified from the previous MMIS design of a nuclear power plant are considered in the development of the HFEPP. To manage human factors issues in the MMIS design of the KNGR, a conceptual Human Factors Issue Tracking System (HFITS) is also considered.
