점적 급액 방식에서의 양액 공급량 예측 프로그램의 개발 (Development of A Computer Simulation Program of Emitter Discharges for Trickle Application)

  • This study was conducted to develop a computer simulation program for trickle application of nutrient solution. A computer simulation program using finite element method was developed to evaluate discharges of emitters on trickle application. The uniformity of application for two different lateral line lengths and three application methods was evaluated by the computer simulation program. The results of this study are as follows. 1. A computer simulation program was developed to determine emitter discharges from a trickle application system and pressures at emitter positions by finite element method and to design a uniform trickle application system. 2. The simulation program developed was verified by experiment. The root mean square error between experimental data and simulated data was 1.1% on the average discharge and it was found that the computer simulation program was an effective tool for the design of a trickle application system of nutrient solution. 3. The uniformity of trickle application system was evaluated for three different methods of supplying nutrient solution with different lateral line lengths. The best uniformity was obtained from the method, which supplies nutrient solution from both ends alternatively for the same period of time.

Our result will be of great use for better understanding of central limit theorems.

  • In this paper, a design method of the simulation program for HILS(Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation) system is proposed. The present method consists of definition of requirements for HILS, development of specifications, and implementation of the program to satisfy the specifications. In the implementation of the program, the application of hardware interface and the concept of structural modularization are proposed to satisfy the specifications. The concepts of CSCI(Computer Software Configuration Item) and encapsulation are used for structural modularization. The proposed method was practically applied to the development of the simulation program for the efficient operation in HILS of an anti-ship missile system.

  • A computer simulation program to evaluate the performance of railway systems and train operation plans and the effects of new technologies is provided. The program has the functions of tracing the movements of trains on railway network following the indication of railway signalling system and obeying all kinds of operation rules. An object-oriented technique is applied to model railway system effectively, and it is expected that the program code can be reused easily for other railway simulation programs. Dedicated graphic user interface displaying the simulation outputs by animation during simulation process makes the program convenient to use. Simulation results on the train operations on Kyung-bu line show the proposed program is promising.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력 VDMOSFET를 2차원 수치해석하여 I_V특성을 구할 수 있는 computer program을 작성하였고 이 program에 의해서 전력 수직이중확산형 MOS(VDMOS)의 I-V 분포 특성, 전위 및 전자정공 농도 분포특성이 computer simulation되었다. 또 teansconductance, on-resistance 및 표면 이동도 model이 적용된 I_V특성이 simulation되어 실험값 및 선행연구자의 결과값과 비교되었다. 기본 방정식은 유한차등분법(F.D.M)에 의해서 해석되었고 Gummel이 알고리즘과 Mock의 식이 적용 되었다.

New Monte-Carlo based simulation program suitable for low-energy ions irradiation in pure materials

  • A new Monte-Carlo-based computer program (RDS-BASIC) is developed to simulate the transport of energetic ions in pure matter. This computer program is utilizing an algorithm that uses detailed numerical solutions for the classical scattering integral for evaluating the outcomes of the binary collision processes. This approach is adopted by several prominent similar simulation programs and is known to provide results with higher accuracy compared to other approaches that use approximations to shorten the simulation time. Furthermore, RDS-BASIC simulation program contains special methods to reduce the displacement energy threshold of surface atoms. This implementation is found essential for accurate simulation results for sputtering yield in the case of very low energy ions irradiation (near sputtering energy threshold) and also successfully solve the problem of simultaneously obtaining an acceptable number of atomic displacements per incident ions. Results of our simulation for several irradiation systems are presented and compared with their respective TRIM (SRIM-2013) and the state-of-the-art SDTrimSP simulation results. Our sputtering simulation results were also compared with available experimental data. The simulation execution time for these different simulation programs has also been compared.

  • 컴퓨터 운영체제는 과거에는 대학에서만 배우는 과목이었으나, 컴퓨터가 점점 보편화되면서 고등학교와 중학교에서도 운영체제의 교육이 실시되고 있다. 학교에서 이루어지는 컴퓨터 교육을 살펴보면 컴퓨터에 대한 기본 원리와 핵심 철학은 이론 수업만으로 진행되고 있다. 이론 수업은 학습 매체의 활용 부족으로 때로 중요한 부분을 지나치거나 학습자가 흥미를 느끼지 못해 수업이 자칫 어려운 공부로 인식될 위험이 있다. 이러한 교육 환경에서 학습자에게 이론 수업에 추가로 다양한 매체를 활용해서 학습에 대한 이해를 돕고 수업 흥미를 유도해서 과목에 대한 이해를 높이는 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 프로그램을 구현하여 운영체제의 이론 중 CPU 스케줄링에 대해서 다양한 예를 진행 과정과 함께 시뮬레이션 하고 그 결과를 표시하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 프로그램을 이용하여 학습자를 교육하면 수업에 대한 흥미를 높일 수 있고 컴퓨터 교과의 이론적인 부분을 보강할 수 있다. 또한 다양한 프로그래밍 환경에서의 각 알고리즘(FCFS, SJFS, PS, RR)끼리의 비교 분석도 가능함을 입증한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develope a program for statistics education. This program deals with simulation which is helpful in understanding some elementary statistical concepts. This program under multimedia environment which includes sound video animation etc. doesn't show only the result but make it possible for students to execute the program by stages. This type of dynamic learning is efficient to overcome the limits of teaching materials or classroom work. Also it can interest students greatly. By executing it the students can understand the method and meaning of simulation and acquire concepts of probability and statistical inference naturally.

  • In this paper, a computer program for simulation of 4 cycle diesel engines including intake and exhaust manifold system is developed. The wave action theory is applied for optimization of the intake and exhaust manifold system. The calculation results of this computer program is finely accurate and agreed well with experimental results. Accordingly, it is recognized that the developed computer program can be utillized very usefully for the design of intake and manifold system. And then, influential factors of the engine performance in the design of intake manifold is numerically investigated by the calculation only. As the results it is concluded that the inertia one of the dynamic effects on the intake and exhaust maninfold affects mainly the engine performance and the pulsation one is a side effect.
