Formation of Research Competence Using Innovative Technologies to Improve the Quality of Training Future Specialists

  • Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature, we showed the interest of researchers in the problem posed. The concept of competence is considered, which is interpreted as giving the key to solving a wide range of educational and life tasks. Research competence implies the ability to cooperate, enter into contacts, readiness for changes, for self-determination and is an integral quality of the individual, expressed in the readiness and ability to independently search for solutions to new problems and creative transformation of reality based on a set of personal and meaningful knowledge, skills, methods of activity and value attitudes.The article offers conditions that certify the improvement of forms and methods of training students in the formation of research competence of future specialists. The use of innovative technologies contributes to improving the level of training of future specialists: students are better prepared for classes, take an active part in the assimilation of program material in laboratory classes. It is noted that this creates a subject-subject relationship between the student and the teacher, and changes the attitude of students to classes. In the process of such organization of educational activities, students are convinced of the need for knowledge and its effectiveness, learn to compare, generalize, classify, establish cause-and-effect relationships, express opinions, defend their point of view, they ensure success in their studies, and develop research competence. It is proved that in order to apply the latest technologies, the teacher himself must know them well, that is, constantly improve himself, master new methods, techniques, ideas, which will help him create new pedagogical technologies and implement them in the educational process.

  • 본 연구는 장애인 직업훈련생의 사전 평가 데이터를 활용하여 직업 훈련 후 취업 결과를 예측하는 다양한 머신러닝 모델을 분석하였다. 연구는 훈련생의 성별, 연령, 장애 유형 등을 포함하는 다양한 개인적 특성을 포함한 데이터 세트에 기반하여, 가장 적합한 머신러닝 모델들을 선별하고 활용하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해, 사전 평가 데이터만을 사용하여 장애인 훈련생의 취업률 및 직업 만족도 향상을 목적으로 한다. 결과적으로, 장애인뿐만 아니라 다양한 배경을 가진 직업훈련생들에게도 적용할 수 있는 범용적인 접근법을 제시한다. 이는 맞춤형 직업 훈련 프로그램의 개발과 구현에 중요한 기여를 할 것으로 기대되며, 궁극적으로는 더 나은 취업 결과와 직업 만족도를 달성하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

  • 가상현실 기술을 이용한 컴퓨터 지원 교육훈련 시스템 (VR-CATS: Virtual Reality based Computer Assisted Training System) 개발에 대한 연구를 전력연구원에서는 계속 수행해 왔다. 본 논문에서는 New VR-CATS (울진 3호기 참조)중 가상현실에서의 공동 협동 훈련 시스템(Virtual Reality Collaboration Training System)의 설계에 관하여 서술한다. 공동작업은 발전소 MCR(Main Control Room)을 3D 데이터 모델링 후 가상현실화하고 MCR 내부를 Navigation 할 수 있도록 가상패널(Virtual Panel)을 개발 및 에에 대한 엔지니어링 데이터베이스환경을 작성하여 추후 정확하고 신속한 계기 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 하며 훈련생들이 시뮬레이터실로 가지 않고 MCR에서 발전소를 운전하는 것과 같은 효과를 강의실에서 얻을 수 있다. 또한 설계기준사고 중의 하나인 LOCA 사고 복구 훈련 시나리오를 통하여 실제와 동일한 복구 훈련을 하므로서 효율적이며 현장감있는 교육훈련 수행을 가능케 한다.

Determinant Factors of the Performance of Higher Institutions in Indonesia

  • This causal quantitative research aims to investigate the influence of factors that determine the performance of employees in Indonesian universities. The factors are crucial for organizations in the achievement of their goals. Based on theoretical studies, three independent variables, namely, training, personality, and work motivation were tested for their influence on employee performance, which was the dependent variable. Primary data were obtained from 94 respondents of a total population of 122 individuals at the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP) in Banten Province, Indonesia. They were tested by the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov approach to ensure their normally distributed population and the linearity test to measure the significant linear relationship between the two variables. There are five hypotheses in this study. Each hypothesis tested by the F-test to determine the significant effect of all independent variables on the dependent variable, and t-test to analyze the effect. The results of this study answered all hypotheses of the research model. There is a positive direct effect of training and personality on work motivation. Both training and personality also affect positively employee performance. Another finding of this study is that employee performance is positively and directly affected by work motivation.

  • 트래픽 분류는 트래픽 관리하는데 중요한 역할을 차지하고 있다. 전통적인 방법은 P2P와 암호화 트래픽을 제대로 분류할 수 없는 문제가 있다. 서포트 벡터 머신은 기존의 문제를 해결할 수 있고 병목 현상을 극복할 수 있는 유용한 분류 도구이다. 하지만 서포트 벡터 머신의 주요 장점은 이차 프로그래밍(QP)문제 때문에 큰 데이터 집단을 훈련하는데 시간을 소모한다. 그러나 유용한 서포트 벡터는 전체 데이터에서 극히 일부분이다. 만약 우리가 훈련전에 쓸모없는 벡터들을 삭제할 수 있다면, 시간을 절약하고 정확도를 유지할 수 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 대규모 데이터를 다룰 때 훈련 속도를 빠르게 하기위해 순차적인 방법을 통해 쓸모없는 벡터들을 제거하기 위한 가능성을 논의하였다.

Style-Specific Language Model Adaptation using TF*IDF Similarity for Korean Conversational Speech Recognition

  • In this paper, we propose a style-specific language model adaptation scheme using n-gram based tf*idf similarity for Korean spontaneous speech recognition. Korean spontaneous speech shows especially different style-specific characteristics such as filled pauses, word omission, and contraction, which are related to function words and depend on preceding or following words. To reflect these style-specific characteristics and overcome insufficient data for training language model, we estimate in-domain dependent n-gram model by relevance weighting of out-of-domain text data according to their n-. gram based tf*idf similarity, in which in-domain language model include disfluency model. Recognition results show that n-gram based tf*idf similarity weighting effectively reflects style difference.

  • Rapid expansion of network and increment of computer system access cause computer security to be an important issue. Hence, the researches in intrusion detection system(IDS)are active to reduce the risk from hackers. Considering IDS, we propose a new IDS model(DABIDS : Distributed Agent Based Intelligent intrusion Detection System) based on distributed intrusion detecting agents. The DABIDS dynamically collects intrusion behavior knowledge from each agents when some doubtable behaviors of users are detected and make new agents codes using intrusion scenario data base, and broadcast the detector codes to the distributed intrusion detecting agent of all node. This DABIDS can efficiently solve the problem to reduce the overhead for training detecting agent for intrusion behavior patterns.

  • Korea is a high level of ICT infrastructure Construction in the OECD's PISA 2006. However, the purpose using of ICT was analyzed for the sake of the interest. They have been emphasized a algorithm-based computer education in conference that it was attended by government, industry and university officials. We designed an algorithm curriculum by analyze a case in international ICT training courses and research. And we were proposed various methods, such as web-based contents, play-based programs, outdoor activities and educational programming language learning for algorithm learning at levels of elementary and middle school students.

Joint Demosaicing and Super-resolution of Color Filter Array Image based on Deep Image Prior Network

  • In this paper, we propose a learning based joint demosaicing and super-resolution framework which uses only the mosaiced color filter array(CFA) image as the input. As the proposed method works only on the mosaicied CFA image itself, there is no need for a large dataset. Based on our framework, we proposed two different structures, where the first structure uses one deep image prior network, while the second uses two. Experimental results show that even though we use only the CFA image as the training image, the proposed method can result in better visual quality than other bilinear interpolation combined demosaicing methods, and therefore, opens up a new research area for joint demosaicing and super-resolution on raw images.

  • In this paper, we describe a telemetry stimulation system that controls animal-robots. In our system, we send the main control command from PC to the controller embedded in the pigeon based animal-robots. Once the controller receives the control signal, it makes biphasic stimulation pulses to medial forebrain bundle neurons to control the pigeon behavior as we want. We design the embedded controller using CUBLOC, which is lightweight for attaching on the pigeon.
