  • Delivery efficiency of e-learning media can be influenced by authoring processes. Generally, a moving picture recorded by video camera can be delivered to student by multimedia streaming service, using media server technology. A e-learning media authored by lecture authoring tool is played in a student application by download-based delivery system. Recently, some animation know-how are applied to author e-learning media by hand-operation. In this paper, we suggest a client-based streaming service for the e-leaning media consists of media files and integration data The lecture of e-learning media nay be divided into some time-based small blocks. Each blocks can be located distributed site. The student system gather those blocks by download-scheduling. This is a valid method for QoS guarantee streaming services. In addition to our study, lecturers can author composite e-learning media includes media files and dynamic web pages simply, The distributed e-learning media files of our study is managed by multi-author and updated rapidly.

  • Electret filter is good enough to protect health and environment from air pollution. The reason why is gathering particles not only by mechanical mechanism but also by electrostatic attraction. Especially this filter is shown lower pressure drop than general mechanical filters as glass fiber. For making electret filter media using polypropylene meltblown(M/B) nonwoven, the nonwoven is charged with corona which was supplied high voltage DC, AC, and pulse with DC power. The electret filter media is tested with $0.3{\mu}m$ sodium chloride and dioctyl phthalate(DOP) aerosol. Results revealed that filtration performance of electret filter media increased as corona was applied with higher voltage and with AC power rather than DC, and fiber diameter was fine and uniform.

  • In this paper, we propose a level of contexts such as low level and high level contexts, and its criteria of categorization are the existence of interaction and composite process done by the inference mechanism. When there is no matching high level service for the associated high level context, this context is described as meaningless. If the services cannot be provided with the entities by the system, this situational information is of little consequence. To provide services with the entities, we propose "community computing" architectural concept which provide the high level service to a group of agents in a community, and can be managed by the service scenario

  • Covalent cross-links between a number of proteins and peptides explain why transglutaminase may be widely used by food processing industries. The objective of this work was optimization of the fermentation process to produce transglutaminase from a new microbial source, the Streptomyces sp. P20. The strategy adopted to modify the usual literature media was: (1) fractional factorial design (FFD) to elucidate the key medium ingredients, (2) central composite design (CCD) to optimise the concentration of the key components. Optimization of the medium resulted in not only an 86% increase in microbial transglutaminase activity as compared to the media cited in the literature, but also a reduction in the production cost. Optimal fermentation conditions - namely temperature and agitation rate - were also studied, using CCD methodology. Usual conditions of $30^{\circ}C$ and 100 rpm were within the optimal area. All other parameters for enzyme production were experimentally proven to be optimum fermentation conditions.

  • We carry out three-dimensional hydrodynamic simulations of the supernova remnants (SNRs) produced inside molecular clouds (MCs) near their surface using the HLL code (Harten et al. 1983). We explore the dynamical evolution and the X-ray morphology of SNRs after breaking through the MC surface for ranges of the explosion depths below the surface and the density ratios of the clouds to the intercloud media (ICM). We find that if an SNR breaks out through an MC surface in its Sedov stage, the outermost dense shell of the remnant is divided into several layers. The divided layers are subject to the Rayleigh-Taylor instability and fragmented. On the other hand, if an SNR breaks through an MC after the remnant enters the snowplow phase, the radiative shell is not divided to layers. We also compare the predictions of previous analytic solutions for the expansion of SNRs in stratified media with our onedimensional simulations. Moreover, we produce synthetic X-ray surface brightness in order to research the center-bright X-ray morphology shown in thermal composite SNRs. In the late stages, a breakout SNR shows the center-bright X-ray morphology inside an MC in our results. We apply our model to the observational results of the X-ray morphology of the thermal composite SNR 3C 391.

  • Objectives: Recurrent caries was partly ascribed to lack of antibacterial properties in composite resin. Silver and zinc nanoparticles are considered to be broad-spectrum antibacterial agents. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the antibacterial properties of composite resins containing 1% silver and zinc-oxide nanoparticles on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus. Materials and Methods: Ninety discoid tablets containing 0%, 1% nano-silver and 1% nano zinc-oxide particles were prepared from flowable composite resin (n = 30). The antibacterial properties of composite resin discs were evaluated by direct contact test. Diluted solutions of Streptococcus mutans (PTCC 1683) and Lactobacillus (PTCC 1643) were prepared. 0.01 mL of each bacterial species was separately placed on the discs. The discs were transferred to liquid culture media and were incubated at $37^{\circ}C$ for 8 hr. 0.01 mL of each solution was cultured on blood agar and the colonies were counted. Data was analyzed with Kruskall-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests. Results: Composites containing nano zinc-oxide particles or silver nanoparticles exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus compared to the control group (p < 0.05). The effect of zinc-oxide on Streptococcus mutans was significantly higher than that of silver (p < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the antibacterial activity against Lactobacillus between composites containing silver nanoparticles and those containing zinc-oxide nanoparticles. Conclusions: Composite resins containing silver or zinc-oxide nanoparticles exhibited antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus.

  • Transparent organic-inorganic hybrid hard coating films were prepared by the addition of $SiO_2$ or $ZrO_2$, as an inorganic filler to improve the hardness property, filler was highly dispersed in the acrylic resin. To improve the compatibility in the acrylic resin, $SiO_2$ or $ZrO_2$ is surface-modified using various silanes with variation of the modification time and silane content. Depending on the content and kind of the modified inorganic oxide, transparent modified inorganic sols were formulated in acryl resin. Then, the sols were bar coated and cured on PET films to investigate the optical and mechanical properties. The optimized film, which has a modified $ZrO_2$ content of 4 wt% markedly improved in terms of the hardness, haze, and transparency as compared to neat acrylate resin and acrylate resin containing modified $SiO_2$ content of 8 wt%. Meanwhile, the low transparency and high haze of these films slowly appeared at $SiO_2$ content above 10 wt% and $ZrO_2$ content of 5 wt%, but the hardness values were maintained at 2H and 3H, respectively, in comparison with the HB of neat acrylate resin.

  • In the IT industry, the complexity and volatility of corporate networks are gradually evolving, and concurrently, the significance of corporate networks is increasing. Previous research has employed network analysis to scrutinize inter-corporate trade relationships for strategic and policy making. However, previous studies focused on the overall network structure from a macroscopic perspective, presenting limitations in applicability at the individual IT corporation level. This study develops a novel research model incorporating sector and region-level network analysis based on connection strength, along with the derivation of a composite node centrality indicator. Using this methodology, we analyzed corporate networks across nine metropolitan areas using IT corporate transaction data. The results means that cities with a manufacturing base, such as Incheon, Busan, and Daegu, have recently established cooperative networks with IT companies. We also found that in the IT industry in Gwangju and Daejeon, certain companies dominate the transaction network.

  • Graphic Design is being developed as a unique genre and widely applied to movie, TV broadcasting, music video, computer an, web design, animation, and game. Some university added motion graphics in their curriculum recently. However Motion Graphic has not been defined clearly and pedagogy of motion graphics was not studied enough. Motion Graphic is not merely moving picture. Its typical purpose and concept are evolving because of the diversified application. Meta-synthesis between media and hybrid development based on diverse approach and composite presentational methods are also changing Motion Graphic. Various technology such as photograph, analytical engine, hypermedia, multimedia, digital composite picture, network and interface should be studied to understand Motion Graphic. This study reviews the historic background of Motion Graphic mainly related to its advent. A fundamental definition of Motion Graphic including the space and time is suggested and the international trend is introduced. Future Motion Graphic and possible development was also predicted.

  • This manuscript illustrates the dynamic response of nanoscale carbon nanotubes (CNTs) embedded in an elastic media under moving load using doublet mechanics theory, which not considered before. CNTs are modelled by Timoshenko beam theory (TBT) and a bottom to up modelling nano-mechanics is simulated by doublet mechanics theory to capture the size effect of CNTs. To explore the influence of the CNTs configurations on the dynamic behaviour, both armchair and zigzag configurations are considered. The governing equations of motion and the associated boundary conditions are obtained using the Hamiltonian principle. The Navier solution methodology is applied to obtain the solutions for both orientations. Free vibration and forced response under moving loads are considered. The accuracy of the developed procedure is verified by comparing the obtained results with available previous algorithms and good agreement is observed. Parametric studies are conducted to demonstrate effects of doublet length scale, CNTs configurations, moving load velocities as well as the elastic media parameters on the dynamic behaviours of CNTs. The developed procedure is supportive in the design and manufacturing of MEMS/NEMS made from CNTs.
