The new social reality emerging amid the global rise of communication links and integration processes acutely emphasizes the problems of communication in large and small social systems. The method of their communication becomes one of the keys to ensuring global security. It has become the mission of humanitarian education to prepare the younger generations for life in a changing world with no image of the future and increasing uncertainty. In psychological and pedagogical research, there is a growing scientific interest in the problems of interaction of the individual with the social environment. The mental trace of a person's practice in society shapes the experience of social interaction, which constitutes simultaneously the source, tool, and condition for the emergence and development of personality. The study outlines the methodological foundations for the study of individual experiences of social interaction. A hypothesis about the productivity of the functional matrix method is tested. Materials for the training of specialists in the humanities include interdisciplinary approaches to the study and transformation of the experience of social interaction and systematic methodology for the study of complex objects. Fundamental to the study is the systematic-dialectical method, and the matrix method is employed as the instrumental-technological method. The paper presents the results of a multidisciplinary overview of scientific literature concerning the essential characteristics and functions of social interaction and the respective experience. The overview points to the fragmented nature of scientific understanding of the elements of experience outside its integrity and systemic properties. Based on the formula "personality interacts with the social environment", the study presents an algorithm for the application of a systematic methodology for the study of complex objects, which made it possible to identify the system parameters of experience at three levels of cognition and develop the reference structural and functional matrices for the didactic system of its pedagogical enrichment.

Complex terrain refers to irregular surface properties of the earth that influence gradients in climate, lateral transfer of materials, landscape distribution in soils properties, habitat selection of organisms, and via human preferences, the patterning in development of land use. Complex terrain of mountainous areas represents ca. 20% of the Earth's terrestrial surface; and such regions provide fresh water to at least half of humankind. Most major river systems originate in such terrain, and their resources are often associated with socio-economic competition and political disputes. The goals of the TERRECO-IRTG focus on building a bridge between ecosystem understanding in complex terrain and spatial assessments of ecosystem performance with respect to derived ecosystem services. More specifically, a coordinated assessment framework will be developed from landscape to regional scale applications to quantify trade-offs and will be applied to determine how shifts in climate and land use in complex terrain influence naturally derived ecosystem services. Within the scope of TERRECO, the abiotic and biotic studies of water yield and quality, production and biodiversity, soil processing of materials and trace gas emissions in complex terrain are merged. There is a need to quantitatively understand 1) the ecosystem services derived in regions of complex terrain, 2) the process regulation occurred to maintain those services, and 3) the sensitivities defining thresholds critical in stability of these systems. The TERRECO-IRTG is dedicated to joint study of ecosystems in complex terrain from landscape to regional scales. Our objectives are to reveal the spatial patterns in driving variables of essential ecosystem processes involved in ecosystem services of complex terrain region and hence, to evaluate the resulting ecosystem services, and further to provide new tools for understanding and managing such areas.
Devonian Geochang foliated granite and Jurassic plutonic rocks intrude Precambrian metamorphic Complex at Geochang area, southern part of the Korean Peninsular. Among them hornblendes from four Jurassic plutonic bodies which have had no trace of metamorphism or deformation since their intrusion were dated by K-Ar method. Hornblende gabbro dike which intruded Anorthosite of unknown age revealed $204{\pm}10Ma$, and hornblende granite and hornblende-biotite granodiorite were $178{\pm}9Ma$ and $181{\pm}9Ma$, repectively. Also, hornblende diorite which partly showing primary foliations were $178{\pm}9Ma$, so igneous activity of Geochang area, northern part of Jirisan, were active about 180 Ma before. Microprobe data of dated hornblends and other major constituent minerals such as plagioclases and biotites were also reported, and their chemical composition showed systematic changes in terms of lithologic types.

A solvent extraction separation, preconcentration and determination of thorium with a new crown, 2-ethyl-N-benzyl-4,7,10,13,16-pentaoxa-1-azacyclooctadecane (MACE), is described in the study. The amount of thorium in the aqueous phase and organic phase was determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectroscopy and Ultraviolet-Visible, respectively. Thorium loaded organic phase was quantitatively stripped in a stage by using 1.0 M $HNO_3$. Thorium was effectively extracted with MACE in the pH range of 6-7 to produce a 3:2 complex ratio in the chloroform. A highly sensitive and rapid spectrophotometric method was described for determination of trace amounts of thorium with MACE. The effective molar absorption coefficient at 281 nm is $1.98{\times}10^3\;mol^{-1}cm^{-1}$, and the system complies with Beer's law in the range from 0.464 to 2.32 ${\mu}gm\;L^{-1}$ of thorium. Thorium was also determined in standard and environmental samples.
We have developed a targeted lipidomics approach that makes it possible to directly analyze chiral eicosanoid lipids generated in cellular systems. The eicosanoids, including prostaglandins (PGs), thromboxanes (TXs), leukotrienes (LTs) and alcohols (HETEs), have been implicated as potent lipid mediators of various biological processes. Enzymatic formations of eicosanoids are regioselective and enantioselective, whereas reactive oxygen species (ROS)-mediated formation proceeds with no stereo-selectivity. To distinguish between enzymatic and non-enzymatic pathways of eicosanoid formation, it is necessary to resolve enantiomeric forms as well as regioisomers. High sensitivity is also required to analyze the eicosanoid lipids that are usually present as trace amounts (pM level) in biological fluids. A discovery of liquid chromatography-electron capture atmospheric pressure chemical ionization/mass spectrometry (LC-ECAPCI/MS) allows us to couple normal phase chiral chromatography without loss of sensitivity. Analytical specificity was obtained by the use of collision-induced dissociation (CID) and tandem MS (MS/MS). With combination of stable isotope dilution methodology, complex mixtures of regioisomeric and enantiomeric eicosanoids have been resolved and quantified in biological samples with high sensitivity and specificity. Targeted chiral lipidomics profiles of bioactive eicosanoid lipids obtained from various cell systems and their biological implications have been discussed.

Strontium can not be determined by conventional dc polarography method since it is very difficult to be reduced at the drop mercury electrode(DME) in aqueous solution. However the analytical sensitivity was improved by adsorptive stripping voltammetry in which electro-reduction of ligand in a complex formed between strontium and o-cresolphthaleoxone was performed. Strontium could be determined in range of $5{\sim}30{\mu}g/L$ concentration. This method was affected by coexistent alkali earth metal ions. Consequently ion exchange separation is recommended to analyze strontium in samples.
Diesel exhaust particles (DEP) contain elemental carbon, organic compounds including Polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), metals, and other trace compounds. Diesel exhaust is complex mixture of thousands of chemicals. Over forty air contaminants are recognized as toxicants, such as carcinogens. Most diesel exhaust particles have aerodynamic diameters falling within a range of 0.1 to $0.25{\mu}m$. DEP was classified as a definite human carcinogen (group 1) by the International Agency for Research on Cancer at 2012 based on recently sufficient epidemiological evidence for lung cancer. Significant decreases in DEP and other diesel exhaust constituents will not be evident immediately, and outworn diesel car having longer mileage still threatens health of people in spite of recent remarkable development in diesel engine technology. Policy change in South Korea, such as introduction of diesel taxi, may raise health risk of air pollution in metropolitan area with these limitations of diesel engine. To protect people against DEP in South Korea, progressive strategies are needed, including disallowance of diesel taxi, more strict regulation of diesel engine emission, obligatory diesel particulate filter attachment in outworn diesel car, and close monitoring about health effects of DEP.
The last decade has seen a rapid growth in the use of mobile devices all over the world. With an increasing use of mobile devices, mobile applications are becoming more diverse and complex, demanding more computational resources. However, mobile devices are typically resource-limited (i.e., a slower-speed CPU, a smaller memory) due to a variety of reasons. Mobile users will be capable of running applications with heavy computation if they can offload some of their computations to other places, such as a desktop or server machines. However, mobile users are typically subject to dynamically changing network environments, particularly, due to user mobility. This makes it hard to choose good offloading decisions in mobile environments. In general, users' mobility can provide some hints for upcoming changes to network environments. Motivated by this, we propose a mobility model of each individual user taking advantage of the regularity of his/her mobility pattern, and develop an offloading decision-making technique based on the mobility model. We evaluate our technique through trace-based simulation with real log data traces from 14 Android users. Our evaluation results show that the proposed technique can help boost the performance of mobile devices in terms of response time and energy consumption, when users are highly mobile.

In the present study, an Element-Based Lagrangian Formulation for the nonlinear analysis of shell structures is presented. The strains, stresses and constitutive equations based on the natural co-ordinate have been used throughout the Element-Based Lagrangian Formulation of the present shell element which offers an advantage of easy implementation compared with the traditional Lagrangian Formulation. The Element-Based Lagrangian Formulation of a 9-node resultant-stress shell element is presented for the anisotropic composite material. The element is free of both membrane and shear locking behavior by using the assumed natural strain method such that the element performs very well in thin shell problems. The arc-length control method is used to trace complex equilibrium paths in thin shell applications. Numerical examples for laminated composite curved shells presented herein clearly show the validity of the present approach and the accuracy of the developed shell element.
Dimensional defects of castings are mainly due to the stresses and strains caused by a nonuniform temperature distribution and phase transformation during solidification and cooling, and by mechanical constraint between the mold and casting. It is, however, nearly impossible to trace movements of the casting and mold during solidification and cooling by experimental measurements for castings with complex shape. Two and three dimensional deformation analyses of the casting and the mold were performed using commercial finite element code, MARC. It was possible to calculate deformation and temperature distribution in the casting and mold simultaneously. Cooling curves of the casting obtained by calculation were close to that measured in the field since it was possible to treat latent heat evolution of the casting which could be divided into two parts, primary and eutectic parts. Mold bent inward just after pouring due to the temperature gradient across the mold thickness, and mold returned to its previous position with time. Plastic deformation occurred at the part of the casting where solidification was slow.
