유기전하 이동착물 Langmuir-Blodgett막의 누적조건 및 누적확인에 관한 연구 (Deposition condition and Confirmation of Organic Charge Transfer complex Langmuir-Blodgett Film)

  • In this research, ultra-thin films of organic charge transfer complex were deposited on to ordinary microscope slide-glass subtrates with a Langmuir-Blodgett technique. ${\pi}$-A isotherm characteristics of these complex were studied in order to find optimum conditions of deposition by varying temperature of subphase, compression speed, and spreading amount. Transfer ratio of these films were studied during the process of deposition. The UV-visible absorbance spectra of LB films were measured to find state of deposition by varing layer number. The observed optimum conditions of surface, pressure, spreading amount, and dipping speed for depositing LB films(Y-type) were 38m/Nm, $150{\mu}l$ and 5mm/min, respectively. Since the tansfer ratio is close to 100%, the monolayer on the subphase seems to be well transferred to the solid substrate. The thickness of the film was well-controlled as the UV-vis absorbance of films were changed linear according to the number of layers.

  • We fabricated an IMI-O polymer containing an imidazole group that could form a complex structure between the monolayer and the metal ions at the air-water interface. Also. the monolayer behavior at the air-water interface and the surface morphology of metal-complexed Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films were investigated by using Brewster angle microscopy(BAM) and Scanning Maxwell-stress Microscopy(SMM). The difference in the BAM and SMM images between the pure water and the aqueous metal ions is attributed to the interactions of the copolymers with the metal ions at the interface and the consequent change of the monolayer organization.

  • We synthesized amphiphilic material including dye skeleton, p-phenylenediamine(PD) by attaching norma-decyl group of two strands at a part of coordinating atom, for obtaining reasonable design of LB uniform films. The synthesis of this compounds was quantitatively carried out under ultra pure state. This product was identified with FT-lR spectroscopy, UV absortion spectroscopy, and $^1$H-NMR spectroscopy, respectively. When manufacturing monolayer, we confirmed molecular area from pressure-area($\pi$-A) cutie of thiscompound onto the surface of the water. The spectroscopic approach also has done by UV absortion spectroscopy. It was shown that PD-complex LBfilms were deposited well with monolayer thickness. The conductivity based on I-V characteristics of PD-complex LB films were in the range of 10$^{-10}$ S/cm at room temperture. The microscopic properties by AFM, showed the good orientation of various monolayer or multilayer molecules

  • In this study, ultra-thin films of (N-docosyl quinolinium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex were prepared on the hydrophilic substrate by Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) technique. The characteristics of ${\pi}-A$ isotherms were studied to find optimum conditions of deposition by varying temperature of subphase, compression speed of barrier and amount of spreading solution. Using UV-vis spectra, capacitance and thickness, deposition of LB films was confirmed together with the thickness of the naturally oxidized aluminum film inside a device and dielectric constant of (N-docosyl quinolinium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex. The dielectric constant of LB film was about $4.59{\sim}5.58$. The electrical properties of (N-docosyl quinolinium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex were investigated at room temperature. The conductivity of this film measured by the direction of either vertical or horizontal axis was found to have a quite different value.

  • We attempted to fabricate a dendrimer Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films containing 48 pyridinepropanol functional end group. As the pyridinepropanol functional group could form a complex structure with metal ions. In this study the samples for electrical measurement were fabricated to two types metal complexes with $Pt^{4+}$ ions by LB method. And we have investigated the surface activity at the air-water interface as well as the electrical properties for the monolayers of G4-48PyP dendrimer complex with metal ions($Pt^{4+}$ ions) by different method. In the surface pressure-area(${\pi}$-A) isotherms of the dendrimers, the stable condensed films formed at the air-water interface and the different method of metal complex showed the difference on molecular behavior. We have studied the electrical properties of the ultra thin dendrimer LB films investigated by the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of metal/dendrimer LB films/metal(MIM) structure. In conclusion, it is demonstrated that the metal ion around G4-48PyP dendrimer can contribute to make formation of network structure among dendrimers and it result from the change of electrical properties.

  • For the purpose of fabricating of LB Ultra Thin Films. (N-docosyl pyridinium)-TCNQ(l: 1) Complex is synthesized. This specimen is verified by U.V. I.R and elemental analyzer. In fabricated LB films with this, as a measurements of electrical conduction characteristics in perpendicular direction, this films have characteristics of insulator(about $10^{-14}S/cm$). And negative resistance phenomena are observed in I-V characteristics of this films.

  • 인간시각계의 색채인식기능을 모방하여, 가시광선영역의 빛에 의해 전기신호를 발생시키는 생체분자인 bR과 flavin을 LB막으로 제작하고, 이를 이용하여 개발된 인공감광소자의 색채인식기능을 검증하였다. bR과 flavin은 LB막 상태에서 고유의 특성을 유지할 수 있었으며, 가시광선 영역의 입력광에 대해 안정한 전기신호를 발생시켰다. AFM image와 광전류의 크기를 바탕으로 bR과 flavin LB막의 제작을 위한 최적 조건을 얻을 수 있었다. bR과 flavin을 차례로 적층하여 bR/flavin 복합 LB박막을 제작하였고, 이를 이용하여 감광소자를 제작하였다. 광전류 data를 바탕으로 얻어진 action spectrum을 분석함으로써, 가시광선 영역에서 얻어지는 신호의 형태가 입력되는 빛의 파장 대(색)에 따라 다름을 알 수 있었고, 입력되는 빛의 파장과 측정된 광전류의 크기와의 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었다. 입력되는 빛의 색채(파장)에 따라 나타나는 광전류의 형태 및 크기를 비교하고 제시된 관계식을 이용함으로써, 제안한 소자가 R, G, B 뿐만 아니라 가시광선 영역의 7가지 기본 색에 대해 색채식별능력이 있음을 검증할 수 있었다.

  • A Stability to the Spreading solvents, Which is acetonitrile, dichloromethane, benzene, chloroform and acetonitrile-benzene(1:1, v/v) of (3-Alkyl benzimidazolium)-TCNQ(1:1) Complex was investigated by UV-visible Spectrometer and was confirmed stabilized on acetonitrile, acetonitrilbenzene(1:1, v/v) for five hours. Using Ultra pure water as subphase for Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) Films, it was achived successively to fabricate the Y-type LB films of (3-Alkyl benzimidazolium)-TCNQ(1:1) Complex. For the identification of deposition of (3-Alkyl benzimidazolium)-TCNQ(1:1) Complex, UV-visible spectra was recorded on HP 8452A spectrometer.
